Red Bear Mechanical (Mike) is the only plumber I use. He always comes right away for any emergencies I may have. He is also very fair? with his prices. He is honest and dependable He told me I didn't? need to replace my water heater. He can do anything from Heaterservices?s to hotwater tanks, to air conditionining, to outdoor faucets etc. I would highy reccommend Red Bear Mechanical.

Our heater started blowing cold air during a patch of freezing temperatures, where it had been reaching single digits at night. My poor wife felt miserable and was huddled under blankets. I called during an off hour and Jessica answered the phone professionally and friendly. I already had a great first impression. She said Michael would be out in 30 minutes, and he was. After I explained what I was experiencing, he worked his magic. Less than an hour later, we were up and running again. The price was far less than I imagined it could be. It's the day after New Years during the noon hour. I heard the loud noise of water running at full blast. Knowing no one was using the water in the house and checking around I could not find where the water was running. I figured there must be a broken pipe somewhere and started to panic. I pictured my crawl space under the house filling with water. Looking up plumbers in Yelp I started calling. Many where either on vacation, were not answering the phone, or were already out on a service call. Red Bear was the only company I could reach. Jessica was very understanding of my emergency and assured me that she would contact Michael immediately. It was just few minutes later that she called back to say Michael would be at my house in 20 minutes. I thought about all that water just gushing. Then Michael called to say he'd be arriving in 5 minutes. I felt so much more relieved. He was very courteous and wasted no time discovering where the break in my pipe was and was able to turn off the water from its source. The broken pipe is under my deck and outdoor kitchen area and can't be fixed at this time of year, but I'll be sure to call him back to replace the pipe in the Spring.

Red Bear was asked to come out to our newly purchased home to inspect the mechanical systems, particularly HVAC. We found the return air system was inadequate for the oversized 5 ton compressor causing icing. That explained why a 69 degree night time setting had a 75 degree result. Instead of recommending replacement of the unit with an appropriately sized one, Michael recommended a second return duct be added to the system. It now works perfectly, in fact it is almost too cool at the set temperature.

Along with fixing several more poorly installed issues, their work was excellent and crew very knowledgeable and efficient. I recommend Red Bear.
