Recommended Remodeling

I asked for a bid for a home remodel project. Chad came out to tour the place and said he would get back to me in couple weeks with a bid as he was about to go on a vacation. After 4 weeks i reached back out to Chad asking for the bid. I received no response and never have got a follow up call. I can understand if someone did not want a project but please just close the loop and say you are not interested verses ghosting the client.
