I called and left a message, Victor called me back, and the next day (it was more convenient for me the following day) I had Rufus come out and fix everything in less than an hour. We're very pleased with our experience with Reckon & Reckon Plumbing.

An old copper drain pipe from the toilet was leaking in the crawl space under the house. Another plumber told me the pipe was cracked and would have to be replaced which would also require removing and later reinstalling the toilet. He quoted me a much higher price.

Victor and his assistant arrived on time. When I arrived they've already seen the problem. Victor recommended repairing the copper pipe. Soldering copper over the leaky holes stopped the leaks. Victor also changed a leaky flapper kit in the toilet.

They worked efficiently and completed the work well within the time frame. The communication was excellent. I appreciated their professionalism and Victor's no pressure approach and answering my questions.

The communication and planning with Claris at the office, was excellent. Setting up the appointment when the tenants are in the house took a few hours and a few phone calls. She had positive attitude all along.

At the recommendation of my realtor, I first reached out to Steve at RECKON & RECKON PLUMBING during the inspection phase of escrow on my 1st home purchase. I wanted to have the sewer line checked as well as to get an estimate for some other needed repairs as per the report I received from the general inspection. Victor and his assistant came out to do the sewer line test and to advise (and estimate) as to what else was recommended. In the weeks to follow, when I closed escrow, Victor came back out and did a stellar job! While I hope not to have any future plumbing issues, inevitably at some point in time I will and at that time I will look forward to calling them back out. They were straight shooters, honest, and priced fairly.

Four days after Reckon did my sewer and plumbing, the water heater died. Left a message requesting Micheal to come out. He called me that night and assured me it would be taken care of the next day. (See previously posted review).

These guys are great plumbers. I have used them several times over the years. Last week they installed 5 water-saving toilets and it was fast, affordable, and the toilets are a great improvement. They arrived on time, and were finished in 4 hours. They did not leave any mess behind, including the old toilets. I highly recommend these plumbers, and Steve Reckon is a pleasure to talk to. You can count on them for an emergency repair, like a new water heater.

I just tried to reconcile a situation with Steve from Reckon plumbing and I was completely overwhelmed by his bullying attitude on the phone. WOW!! I will never, ever use or recommend this company to anyone. I stopped payment on my check which I have never done before because I felt completely ripped off. Steve had a guy come out to stop a leak from a steam shower in my bathroom. When I asked the service guy what he was going to do he said that he was an appraiser and he would let me know what he recommends. I told him I needed first and foremost to stop the leak. My initial thought was why would Reckon said me an appraiser. Next thing he says is he stopped the leak and on his way out my tenant goes up to the bathroom and water is pouring in the shower. He runs back up and capps off the output to the steam vent to prevent the leak. I was trying to find out from Steve why they capped that off when there is and on/off switch that can be turned off. In any case, I was unable to communicate with Steve as he insisted on yelling at me over the phone and threatening to take me to court. Again, I would gladly send him another check if he could've explained to me why the service man did what he did but the yelling and threatening was something I felt I didn't need to listen to. t am still in shock at his unprofessional attitude and his unwillingness to work it out.

Ridiculous pricing.

Had them come out to replace a leaking hose bibb and gate valve in our yard. We would normally do this repair myself, but it required turning the water off at the street. Easy to do, but thought it best for a professional to do this in case any mishaps at the street level. My wife made an appointment. They were on time. She explained what needed to be done.

They charged my wife $185 ($155 after $30 off coupon) to turn off the water and replace an outdoor 3/4"" hose bibb. Literally, a 10 minute job.

Additionally, they quoted $450+ to replace the leaking gate valve at the same location (water was already turned off). Luckily, she called me before she approved the second part of the job which I promptly declined.

Very, very disappointed with how this business conducted itself.

This is my second experience with Reckon and Reckon and I have to say, they are prompt, professional, quick, and efficient. I feel bad because they had to work jointly with my HOA's plumber who was really, really late. However, he was pretty gracious about it. I recommend them.
