Victor and his Assistant arrived today at our home in Woodland Hills within the time frame he originally said. They both were courteous, friendly, and easy to negotiate a reasonable fee for a clogged pipe. Very quickly they got to the problem and fixed it. I was impressed how Victor was very anxious to see that our transaction was a pleasant experience and he did all he could to make sure I was contended with his work. I would highly recommend this plumber to anyone and in fact will call them the next time I need any such services.

Reckon and Reckon is hands down the best plumbing service we have ever used. From the time you call and the super organized scheduler arranges your appointment to the plumber who provides excellent service, they are a very professional plumbing firm. They have been to our house several times for a wide range of plumbing issues, and each time they are very consultative. They recommend the best solution, always making sure it is to code, and explain everything in detail. They are very ethical too, and try to provide customers the most cost effective solution. This is the kind of company you choose as your permanent plumbing solution vs. trying someone new each time you have a plumbing problem. They have sent Victor several times, and he is exceptionally good!

I just got off the phone with Steve. Wow! Speaking with a plumber can't get any better than this. I am planning on replacing a toilet and wanted to know, going in, what I might expect in the way of plumbing charges. Instead of getting the usual runaround from plumbers I've used in the past, who tell me I need to ""set an appointment for a technician"" - and pay $39 and waste a day to meet them, even though I am not sure I am even replacing the darn thing - the receptionist immediately handed me over to Steve, a plumber. He asked lots of questions to get accurate info, gave me suggestions on what I need to look for in a replacement toilet, and then a ""best case"" scenario cost along with specific admonitions about what might be issues that would cost more. He had a lot of concerns for the existing flooring, which I found especially positive. I now feel certain I will replace the toilet and hire these guys for this and all future plumbing needs.

Second time we've used Reckon & Reckon and will continue. The pre-work coordination with the office was great. They showed up when indicated. The estimate was competitive. The field team was friendly, courteous and knowledgeable. First project was Kitchen faucet replacement and unique valve replacement in old bath vanity. Second project was to replace end of life 1926 waste line in our basement/crawlspace. They were creative when challenged by working with an existing older residence which had original 1926 piping, 1998 piping and 2008 piping. When challenges arose, they advised me prior to an alternate approach. At the same time, they cleaned and serviced our four year-old tankless water heater. Before they could service it, they had to install valves which are required for maintenance. They knew this fact; whereas, the plumber who installed the tankless heater in 2008 was not. Just one reason we do not use that plumber and one of many reasons we will continue to use and recommend Reckon & Reckon Plumbing.

After getting great service in the past, when our water heater crapped out we called immediately. After learning that our water heater was over 10yrs old, the assigned technician recommended a replacement...over the phone! Add he called 30min before the promised arrival time was set to expire.When I said that we could not afford a new wh, he asked me for the model#, serial# off the water heater...3 times he called me and asked me this. Each time I had to go inside the plumbing closet and the numbers were like 30-digits long so he could try to get a replacement heating unit from the supply house. Then I tell him that there may not be enough clearance to replace the burner unit (because work for the regular heater is too close) he promptly says he can;t warrant the work and our installation is not up to code...still he has NOT SEEN THE HEATER.

So we called a plumber friend of ours (who we didn't want to impose on in the first place). He came over. He and my boyfreind went to Home Depot, bought a replacement thermocoupler part for $11...and voila! A working water heater was born.

I am still pissed as I write this
