Met Vinnie through a web of facebook kitchen cabinet ads just to get estimates on cabinets for my planned kitchen remodel. Normally this is not how I would retain a contractor to do a remodel, so I'd like to say our meeting was fortuitous and fortunate for me.

I find Vinnie to be very contemplative and deliberate in thoughts and assessment. Obviously he has a vast fund of knowledge in the remodeling industry and from the work he did for me, most probably a good track record. Vinnie delivered beyond my expectations a kitchen I am going to enjoy being in for many years. His crew is highly skilled and special shout out to Natali, the 3D designer who's renderings and measurements are just very practical, tasteful and artistic as well as efficient in usage of space. My kitchen is under 180sqft but it feels so much bigger now. Another special mention goes to Vinnie's super, Roberto who's scope of talent include, tiling, electrical, finishing, painting. He is a loyal crew doing projects with Vinnie for over 10 years. Roberto is a troubleshooter, with a keen and generalist eye for the total picture. Vinnie's fabricator of counter tops as well as his plumber were outstanding. I love my chosen countertop and it was fabricated so that the movement or swirls of the quartz was continuous throughout.

Hearing so many stories of grief regarding contractors from friends, I really braced myself for tears and frustration. Astoundingly, this project was soooo painless and as Vinnie promised me, with no surprises. Sure it wasn't perfect, but don't let perfect be the enemy of excellence. If there was an issue Vinnie took care of it, owned it up with nary a hesitation.

I would give him my next remodel project without thinking twice.

Time flies even when being confronted with Covid-19 so much so that I have been behind writing this review for Real Remodeling, Inc., and especially its dedicated, diligent founder and owner, Vinnie Elm. 

Vin and his crews did a home addition and existing home renovation of approximately 2600 sq. feet over the span of 9 months during the wake of COVID in 2020. Today, the home is basically brand new including smooth stucco, concrete tile roof, skylights, two zone HVAC, extensive media including fixed wire cameras, music, and extensive state of the art smart home features including electrical by Leviton, hardscaping pavers everywhere, a circular driveway, and a built in barbecue and natural gas fire pit. His garage door--milk white opaque glass--suggestion was most appropriate for the home's design as well. Inside includes a steam shower as part of a gym, and a gourmet kitchen most women would be envious of, and possibly their husbands too.    

Vin interacted with and coordinated among every aspect of our project which required working with a hostile HOA, our architect, and city planners at every level including public works since he needed pubic right of way permission for cutting the curb and passing the sidewalks of the circular driveway including pillars and lights that remain most attractive and convenient for entering the home. 

Some of his work and efforts preceded the project by a couple of months before he realized any returns, since had the HOA stopped our plans which they attempted, all his work and our soft cost expenditures would have been for naught.  

All I can say to describe Vin is that he is a Pro who takes amazing pride in everything he does including the finest details. He is always available and seems to run on not much more than five hours sleep. His phone is always on his hip, and he answers it without fail or gets back to you very quickly. 

He is highly creative and experienced including having worked closely with my wife on designs and colors while escorting her to various suppliers for final decisions. His subs including an amazing cabinet designer and installer as well as a custom cabinet carpenter work with him as partners. Vin is hands on everything.  

His knowledge of construction is on par with his creativity, since every sub from foundation, framing, electrical, plumbing, etc. sought his input throughout the project while he ensured that every phase of their work was done on time, and correctly.

As for pricing, Vin is compensated well, though he is flexible and competitive, knowing that the level of service and professionalism he provides is rare for General Contractors in his world. 

He means what he says, and performs according to what he means. You will be able to trust him to provide the highest quality work when you hire him.

We interviewed a few contractors and Vinnie was the most clear, promising straightforward and transparent prices. He guaranteed the price within the parameters of our initial project. Given reviews, we went with him. Absolutely no regrets. We were consistently amazed by his prompt attention to our requests or concerns. His subs were prompt, did good work; we are a big fan of Fito who tiled our bathroom (see pics). Wonderful work. I am a stickler for details; Vinnie bore with this with grace and made sure things were done right. We could not be more pleased. Vinnie was a delight to work with, which -- because remodeling is just stressful no matter what! -- is saying something.

We used Real Remodeling to renovate our kitchen and they were excellent. Their customer service is the best! Vinnie, the owner & contractor, did everything he said they would do in the time he promised. So many people had told us, ""Whatever time frame the contractor promises, double that, and that's when your remodel will be complete!"" Not with Real Remodeling! Our kitchen was complete in 2 weeks! Vinnie and Ally, Vinnie's wife and the one who answers their phone, treated us like family making sure we were happy with the work before the job was complete. We highly recommend Real Remodeling!

Jacob and his crew worked wonders with our old 1950's style kitchen! The kitchen had to be gutted, all wiring and electrical box was replaced to bring the kitchen up to code. The kitchen didn't originally come with a mounted dishwasher so that was added! I had never realized how much work goes into a kitchen and how much we use it, our washer and dryer are also in there.
Jacob was very well organized and very knowledgeable, there was workers at our house 5-6 days a week without any gaps! Highly recommend!

This review is long over due. In November of last year, my husband and I decided we were ready for a kitchen remodel. We live in an older home and because of that were extremely worried about what challenges we would face once we started the project. We decided we wanted to find a contractor that we would feel comfortable with and that was reliable and knoweldgable.We also wanted a quick turn around since we didn't want to be without a kitchen for too long. I have to say WE WERE SO HAPPY TO HAVE MET VINNIE! He was exactly what we were looking for. He was a joy to work with! Even when we did face a few bumps in the road with our older home, Vinnie was always honest, gave great and reasonable solutions, and never made us feel as though we were doomed. He delivered our kitchen in exactly the amount of time he had promised, and we couldn't be happier with our kitchen! We recommend Real Remodeling without any hesitation. Vinnie and his wife are amazing!

My first introduction to Real Remodeling was being contact by Vinnie's wife Alli. I had registered on line (like the 10th time) to find a contractor to do a remodel for my kitchen and bathroom. I was feeling very frustrated at the time because other companies that I had been contracted by were not very professional or never followed through. But when I spoke with Alli she was very sweet and super patience with me and said if I would like Vinnie could come out that same day which was on a Sunday. Honestly I wasn't in the mood that day since I felt that I was done and that maybe the remodel wasn't going to happen. Felt I was spinning my wheels trying to get this remodel done. But Vinnie came and he was very nice professional and courteous. He had several pictures of his work and lots of samples. I liked what he had and he was very good helping with suggestions for the kitchen and bathroom. Since I wasn't real sure what I wanted since this wasn't something that I had done before. He suggested ideas and was never pushy about what I should or shouldn't do. Once we signed the contract he gave me a finish date which was approximately 6 weeks worth of work. With Vinnie's help I picked out the materials that I wanted before we started as to make it easier. They started on a Monday and worked 6 days a week and finished my job in 3 weeks and 2 days. Vinnie was hands on always. There wasn't a day that went by that he didn't keep me updated on what was going on that particular day of work. Also, communicated what the next steps were so I knew what was happening at the house all the time. He had his crews there everyday including Saturdays and they worked from morning till late in the evening usually finishing around 6:30 - 7:00 pm. His Forman Fredi was wonderful. He was always there for any questions or concerns and kept the job moving right along. He does great tile work too. His cabinet person Renee was also a gem. He did a great job on my cabinets. All the workers and helpers that Vinnie works with are A+ people. They are prompt and courteous and respectful. Each day before they left they always would leave the work area clean and tidy. My finished kitchen and bathroom are lovely.

I can't say enough good things about this company. They made my remodel smooth and easy to endure the 3 weeks of things being displaced. If your thinking of remodeling a bathroom, kitchen or anything else please give them a call. You'll be happy you did. (: (:
