I know I recently wrote RE Plumbing a good review but now I have to update my most recent experience. I had issues with the connector from the toilet tank to the braided toilet hose that leaked down to the angle stop valve which makes it look like the angle stop valve may have had the issue. Instead testing to determine what is the issue, the tech changed out the braided hose and angle stop valve to charge $300. I know this because I asked the tech what was the issue. His reply was, I did check. I am changing out everything so it is all new. At this point he took everything apart already. I should have stayed with him the entire time to make sure he tested all parts and only replaced what was need. It is pretty frustrating to find out that he did not test anything.

On top of that, the tech turned down the water pressure at the house and did not tell me. After the tech left my home, I was not able to run the dishwasher, shower, and laundry machine at the same time. That's when I realize why the tech kept telling me that my water pressure was low and that I may need to change my regulator valve. I checked my cameras, I saw him accessing the regulator valve and turning the knob. When I called the tech to ask if he did anything to the regulator valve and he said, ""No, but the regulator valve may need to be replaced."" I told him it was replaced three years ago when the water heater was replaced and I am only having this issue after he finished the toilet repair. He couldn't explain why it was only a problem after he finished the toilet repair. He came back to house and went straight to the regulator valve and turned the knob. Magically, the water pressure was back to normal.

I am disappointed with RE Plumbing. They use to be honest and upstanding company but they are now dishonest. I will no longer be using them.

I am giving two stars because the tech did come back to undo what he did to my regulator valve and my braided toilet hose did stop leaking.

For future/potential customers, just be careful and make sure you follow the tech around, have the tech test to determine the issue before changing out anything, and watch them work the whole time. Also, ask a lot of questions so you know exactly what they are doing and why. I do not want anyone else to go through what I have gone through.

Great service from RE Plumbing!

Called at 8:45 at night. They arrived in less than 30 minutes and cleared the drain blockage that was backing up into my shower. So happy Ari and Eric were able to help.

I would highly recommend using them and I will be saving their business card on my fridge if we ever have another emergency and need fast service.

An update to my previous review. Over 24 hours after my scheduled appointment and after I left my first yelp review, I was contacted by RE Plumbing claiming there was a mix up and somehow I wasn't on the schedule for Saturday on their end. I explained how disappointed I was to have to cancel all plans for that day because I was waiting on them to arrive or even give me a call back. They said they would cone out the next day. I explained that I work and am unable to miss another day of work due to this issue and that's why I scheduled for Saturday. The gentleman agreed to come out in the evening to take a look at the toilet on Monday. He showed at the agreed upon time.

He proceeded to blame me for breaking the toilet after they left. The toilet was used once because I was under the impression it was fixed after the first person came. Nothing would flush down. Of course we didn't try it again. There was pieces of toilet paper in the toilet because it still was not flushing properly. The gentleman that was there (Eric) was telling me that he would go ahead and fix it to make things right, but still while being very accusatory that I had broken it.
If it had been a separate issue as he was trying to say, they would have tried to sell me another service. It's a business. Of course they will try to upsell it. So he tried to accuse me that it was always like that and it was clogged and he tried to say that it happened after the initial repair. Make up your mind.
They did correct the issue, but I cannot give any more stars because I was blamed for everything the entire time he was there and it was only like that after they came for the initial visit. I don't think it's good customer service to call your clients liars.

I noticed that The water pressure was high in my house because the water pressure reducing valve was not working properly. I called R.E. Plumbing late afternoon and Aria was able to schedule an appointment for me the next morning. Aria arrived on time and replaced the valve quickly. Very good service and reasonable.

Had an emergency as toilet started leaking. Called R.E. Plumbing as they had installed a toilet previously in another bathroom due to our new floors. They were originally referred by flooring guys. They arrived within 2 hours and fixed leak. Did a great, neat job both times. Eric was very professional and personable! Highly recommend this company. His brother was great too!! Great customer service as toilet leak would have damaged floors.

These guys saved me on Mother's Day super affordable and literally fixed my plumbing within 15 minutes! 3 different plumbers came, saying they couldn't do it or charging me 480 to allegedly do some hydro something and needed a supervisor for whatever job they needed to do to my house. These guys came and took care of business!

My neighbor and I were both experiencing a drop in water pressure, so she called RE plumbing out to look at both of our homes to try to figure out the problem. He glanced at my water pressure regulator without touching anything and said it needed to be replaced for $300, since it was the same brand as my neighbor's. I asked him -""don't you need to test my water pressure in order to figure out if that was the problem?"" He said that since the house was 14 years old and water pressure regulators only last 10 years, he knew that had to be the problem. (Without ever testing it!) He told my neighbor that hers also needed to be replaced, but for $500. She called out a different plumber who diagnosed her problem as being related to her water softener, and not the water pressure regulator after all! Her problem is now fixed and she still has her 14 year old water pressure regulator. I still don't know what the cause of my lower water pressure is, but I certainly can't trust this plumber to figure it out.

Literally made what had been a bad day 10 times Better! He came at the request of my sons realtor and Ari showed up ON TIME to help with my sons first home purchase in Covina, CA, one that we were starting feel might be a money pit. He was fast, knowledgeable, fair priced, pointed out immediate work needed as well as work that should be done but could wait for a bit as he put together a price list. He performed quality work quickly with out a second of wasted time. We were impressed that he showed up with a fully stocked and ready truck to fix virtually everything with all the tools and parts needed even for the things we didn't know needed fixing. We will be using him again and are recommending him to the HOA of my sons home as someone they can trust to do fair QUALITY work!! Thank you Ari!!!
