Randy and Chanel Vilfroy bring a wealth of experience in the plumbing and sewer industry. Having worked for various ""rooter"" service companies where inflated prices, skilled professionals, and client dedication were not valued, they chose to create a certified plumbing company with the State of California, to improve stereotypes of typical plumbing and sewer companies.

Our business thrives on referrals. We aim for customers to share their experiences with their friends, family, and neighbors to expand our family. We serve a diverse range of clients, from residential to commercial and property management. Creating enduring connections with our customers is essential for us.

We donate to numerous fundraising efforts, educational institutions, and National Nights Out in the community of San Jose.

Randy Vilfroy has accumulated 16 years in the plumbing and sewer industry, gaining technical expertise while employed at different companies, which inspired him to launch his own business in 2005. He possesses in-depth training in both technical and safety protocols.

He spent his childhood in Campbell, CA, where he graduated from Westmont High School. He has notable achievements such as 10 years of competitive swimming. During his leisure time, he enjoys playing golf and occasionally playing poker!

Chanel Vilfroy started working in the plumbing and sewer industry at the age of 18. She was raised with basic plumbing knowledge due to her father's 30-year career in this field, her knowledge grew as she took on management roles and managed her parents' plumbing and sewer business.

She spent her childhood in San Jose, graduating from Santa Teresa High School. In recent years, she has held positions on boards for schools and earned a Community Service Award from the Oak Grove School District. Her leisure activities today include working on scrapbooks and photography.

Lovely company to work with, from the person answering the phone to the person that showed up at my door. It was a pretty straightforward problem with my water heater but he showed up when they said he would, fixed the problem quickly, and made me feel comfortable inviting him into my home. I would hire them again in a moment.

My plumbing job was a tough one. I recently purchased a home where the previous owner had a screwed up, not to code repiping done in the crawl space - several direct galvanized to copper connections were done that were corroded, one leaking and the others - a time bomb waiting to burst.

Also, the bathtub drain was leaking - probably for years.

I'm very handy with home improvements, but this was a tough , ugly job. Randy and assistant fixed everything - back to code - (copper to copper and brass fittings for galvanized to copper) and even haulled away discarded pipes in the crawl space that were previous left as a garbage pile.

How often do homeowners go into the crawl space to check on all the pipes? Probably not often - it is essential that you can trust the plumbing work down there or it could be leaking for years.

Randy is probably not the least expensive plumber - but he is worth every cent - especially in a case such as this.

Regards,
Michael

Wow!! What a great company and a great person!! Randy was honest, reliable and upfront. Didn't charge me for the estimate! And Chanel? What can I say? She worked really hard to get an appointment the very next day! This will be the ONLY plumbing service I ever call again!!

Problems with water heater on Thursday and RCV was out that day. Special water heater needed since I have 3 floors and installed on time in a few hours on Monday morn bGave a discount since he didn't have the ""special heater"" in stock on Thursday. Randy even walked around the house and helped fix a few other water issues for free! Professional and courteous. Would highly recommend again.

Plumbing issues - ugh! Randy has saved us twice now, quickly diagnosing scary issues with his calm competence. It's stressful to have water leaking under your house or onto your new hardwood floors yes, but I'm so grateful to have a plumber who's responsive, and quick, and reasonably priced.

I have just sent a shout out to my friends on facebook to look up Randy for their plumbing needs. He's THAT good a resource!

Had issue with drain, and called RCV Plumbing. Randy came and unclogged the drain using a snake in 20-30 minutes or so. Resolved the issue, and haven't had a problem so far. Great service!

I contacted several plumbers to get an estimate to run new sewer line. I paid the first company to run a camera down the line to accurately locate it so that the estimate would be more accurate. This camera report can then be use by the other companies to guide their estimates.

RCV came out to give me his estimate and would not do so unless I paid him $250 to run his own camera, he refused to use the report from the other company. It would have been nice if I was told this on the phone when I called to make the appointment, but there was no mention of an upfront cost.

I guess his his money scheme depends on unaware customers calling him out for a free estimate that turns out not to be free. It doesn't work when you've paid another plumber to mark the line location ahead of time.

Randy and his wife are the best. Plumbing problems never happen at a convenient time, and RVC always does their best to accommodate. Randy's wife is a delight and Randy couldn't be nicer - and he knows what he's doing. And (very important to us), he's great with out animals.

Each time he's been fast, given us a fair price, and has given us great suggestions to keep our plumbing working well.

In a world where service is a forgotten word, Randy comes through every time.

I was having trouble with my pilot light on my water heater going out. I called RCV and I was in luck, someone else had just cancelled an appointment in my neighborhood, so I got service in half an hour.

Randy asked me what was going on, very quickly diagnosed it as a bad thermocouple. Once I agreed to the very reasonable estimate ($140), he grabbed some tools and got right to work. It was fast and he did a good job. Couldn't be happier with the service.

Our water heater decided to flood our garage on Sunday! Thank goodness for Yelp! RCV has terrific Yelp reviews and they answer their phone!! All of the previous positive comments are spot on. Our first contact was with Chanel. She answered our phone call and was over the top helpful! We really wanted a new water heater installed as soon as possible but they were booked until the end of the week. Of course, that happens with great businesses. Chanel worked hard to figure out a way to ""fit us in"" if possible and said that she would call us the next morning. Well, we lucked out, she called us in the morning and they were able to come out later that day. Our location, water heater in the garage and a drained water heater may have helped as well. They gave us a 2 hour window and showed up within that time frame. Nice! Btw, our old water heater was ""American"". Very generic and not ""American Standard"". Gave us problems from day one. Randy, the owner, installed our new water heater and he is very professional. Great sense of humor. He also told us how to make this one last longer. We will totally call on RCV again if we need plumbing service at any time. We agree also with previous posters that it is important to support our local and family businesses!
