Thursday afternoon our water heater decided to go live upstate on a nice farm where it could romp and play with other water heaters.
I googled Water Heater replacement and got ads for Lowes and Home Depot so I went on Yelp. Called my property manager and they said they work with a couple different companies and I chose RCS based on their reputation and the fact they answered instead of an automated system.
They said they should be at my place at 5pm on a Friday night and they were here at 5pm. So things were off to a great start. Wes was polite introduced himself and got right to the job, the water heater was in a small closet in the guest room upstairs. So if you're trying to imagine what this space was (you can see the photos I added but it was kind of like were Harry Potter slept, in his terrible Aunt & Uncles place.
Wes helped me clean out the closet, which he didn't need to do but he did it anyways. Then Carl showed up and those two got to work so fast I was blown away. They said they'd take two hours and they got done with 15 minutes to spare.
Our problem was a broken line and they grabbed a torch and got that old water heater detached and replaced it with a brand new Ruud water heater. In my photos you can see the difficulties they had to conquer to get that job done. Spiral staircases, The Harry Potter Closet and the Arizona summer heat. They were both very nice and now we got hot water again! Couldn't be happier we had RCS to save the day on a Friday night. They told me the specialize in sewer issues but they don't mind doing the smaller jobs like water heater installs. They said they can do it all.
Thanks again Wes & Carl and I hope whoever reads this review. Gets these two guys showing up at their door, because they're efficient, friendly and super careful considering they had to go up and down a spiral staircase with a water heater.

Employees of this company found it perfectly fine to enter my private yard and allow themselves into my laundry room while investigating a leak reported by a neighbor.
This is absolutely unacceptable as they were also trying to look into my home through the front windows to see who was home.
And I never requested service through this company, I already had my own plumber come and inspect the issue I was having on my end. So why they thought it was fine to let themselves into my property, I will never understand.
As a homeowner this is extremely concerning.

I cannot say enough about RCS and their amazing service. The guys are wonderful. Jesse and Alec came out to my home and removed an old claw foot tub and replaced it with a beautiful new one. They not only did everything I asked for- but they came in $500 under budget. I will never use anyone else. Highly recommend them for plumbing and hvac services. - Dawn

Jeremiah and Andrew were out today to install a new air conditioner. Showed up on time and they were very curtious. Could not have asked for any better service and I would highly recommend Reeds Crew Services for your a/c needs!!

Once again Reeds to the rescue! AC went out on Sunday. They were here by 830am! Found and diagnosed the issue. Then checked everything else to be sure all was well!! Fast, clean, polite, efficient and VERY reasonable! I won't call anyone else! Thank you RCS!

sent in a maintenance request to my property manager around noon and was given there number to scheduled someone to come repair my ac which is currently still out. called them around 3pm and was told someone would be in my home today between 4-6pm which i thought was odd considering they close at 5. i called twice around 6:20 and no one answered and no one has shown up. will be calling again in the morning.

I can't give this business any stars. This business is quite possibly the least professional business of this type I have had the misfortune to have done business with. Our rental home management contracted with them to repair our air conditioner on Friday July 5. The technician informed that the compressor would need to be replaced, and due to the upcoming weekend, parts order would not be available until Monday. No one from the business calls on Monday until later in the day. Instead of just showing up and making the repair when the parts are available they are delaying completion until Wednesday. So , this company has no compunction against making their customers wait multiple days in the middle of summer for completion of a repair that should have been completed in one or two days max! Justin, from Reeds crew services was arrogant and unconcerned about our situation and offered no sympathy. To have this kind of customer service from an air conditioning company in the middle of summer with this level of apathy and arrogance is unacceptable. Do yourself a favor, don't use them, anyone would be better.

Came home early this morning no air conditioning called property management and they sent out Reeds Crew they have been here before for other repairs and they are always fast, so today Wes came out found the problem replaced a motor and things are getting cooler already thank you Wes and thank you Reeds Crew
They are the ones to call.

I was recently left at the mercy of what turns out to be a rather infamous home buyer's warranty company (I have since learned that the company has 1 star on yelp, 700 complaints through the BBB in the last three years, etc.). When my four year old A/C system stopped working, I contacted them and they sent Reeds Crew Services out to check it out.
The Reeds technician finished his last job early and was able come by my place early (after checking to confirm I was available). He appeared to do a thorough inspection to make sure the obvious problems weren't the only ones and let me know that the compressor needed replaced. Bad luck on my part, with a 4 year old system...RCS was completely honest and upfront about all aspects of the repair. They let me know the parts were under a manufacturers warranty, they gave me a detailed quote so there would be no surprises in the costs or work they would be doing, and they contacted the home buyer's warranty to authorize the work/payment.
Unfortunately, the warranty company did not want to pay for the full repair (an issue that took me some work and communication with multiple members of that company to resolve) and so they declined Reeds and sent a new group out to begin the process again. It's worth noting that in the end, they covered the same work from the new group. Who knew they wouldn't be able to get someone to replace a compressor for $294.00...? In all fairness, I cannot speak to the quality of the final work that Reeds may perform. However, I wanted to share the following reasons I intend to use RCS for any future A/C and heating needs:
1) They were completely open and upfront about the whole process.
2) They stood by the quality of their work and refused to eliminate important steps of the repair to lower their prices as they were being pressured by the home buyer's warranty company to do. They chose to lose the job rather than do substandard work.
3) Even after the warranty company informed RCS they would be working with someone else for this job, Justin Reed still called me to let me know that if I had any questions or concerns about the repair that was ultimately arranged through the home buyer's warranty, that I should not hesitate to call him and that he would be happy to answer any questions for me that he could.
4) I see from some of the other reviews that Reeds' prices may be a little higher than some. For me, I would gladly pay a higher price to: a) know exactly what I'm paying for from the beginning and not have any hidden, unexpected costs pop up; b) know that they have the experience to perform the work well and that they stand by the quality of their work; and c) know that they care about their customers (and even customers who were taken away by unscrupulous warranty companies).
The repair for this compressor will be completed by another company because I have no say in the matter but Reed's Crew Services will have my business in the future. Which, with my apparent luck with this unit, may not be too far away.

Reeds Crew has been our AC service company for years and each time they have exceeded my expectations with their service and quality. Techs are professional and knowledgeable. I will never have to worry about my AC again!
