Bathroom and Kitchen were flooded! Called these guys and they were at my house within two hours, they got straight to business and fixed the problem. While taking a shower, the valve stem burst off and water was splashing everywhere. I immediately turned off the water to the house. Thinking I could fix this myself, I brought the old valve over to Home Depot and tried to look for the same valve stem. But after discovering that it broke off the threads as well...hmmm. So, I ended up purchasing brand new hardware thinking, now I'm gonna need to hire a plumber. Just great. Where can you find a reliable, quality plumber nowadays?

After searching through the Internet close to my residence, I came across Razor Rooter. I did research on the company first. Look at his web reviews and saw all 5 stars. But it got me thinking as an IT tech. He's only posting his 5 star reviews. But, Yelp tells all stories. So, I read some reviews on Yelp, liked what I saw and called him at around 9:30pm. He answered and I told him my story and asked him approximately what it would cost to install a new shower valve system. I told him I had a tile shower and I didn't want it damaged, but the back side was a small bathroom that he could access from the backside.

As most contractors, they are very hesitant in giving a prices over the phone without looking at what they are up against. I can understand this. I'm a contractor myself in IT Services. But, I just asked for a ballpark figure. He asked me what my budget was which was very thoughtful. I told him I wanted a quality job, so what is the price? He told me a price and I was expecting another price. He accepted site unseen. He asked if I wanted him out there right now and I said no.

Martin came out the next day and I told him I had to work in the morning and he was very accommodating. Called me up and I asked him to call me when he was 15 minutes away, so I could drive home from work to meet him. He was super punctual. Off to a great start.

He wanted to start right way, but I wanted to firm up the price first. We talked and agreed to what we said on the phone. Thumbs up!

Took him up to the suspect shower. OK, down to business. I watched him for the first 30 minutes to hour and I knew he was up against a monster of a job, but he had super patience and made sure he was meticulous on his workmanship.

This was a typical 2-3 hour job that took him over 5 hours and he never complained, was very professional and performed quality workmanship. He asked me to inspect as I did and all was well.

Once he was all finished, and I was satisfied with the job, we sat down to complete the transaction. I was super pleased with his workmanship and professionalism.

I would have no hesitation to refer Razor Rooter (Martin)...Excellent job Martin. I will definitely hire you again.

Call Martin when you buy that new fridge and need to add a water line with the best materials (not the Home Depot stuff). Punctual, professional, knowledgeable and he provided service with a smile. Martin lives up to the Yelp hype. Crystal clear filtered water coming through.

Checked out Yelp the other day to find a plumber to add a water line for a refrigerator. I saw all the great reviews for Martin Rodriguez from Razor Rooter Plumbing and gave him a call. The price was initially quoted higher (over the telephone) due to the difficulty of going underneath a house to add a water line. The water line had to be extended across the kitchen because my refrigerator was across of the sink and not in line with it.

Martin came on our appointment day and found an easier way to create the water line to my refrigerator by connecting to another source other than the sink line. That did not require him to go underneath the house. Needless to say, he dropped the price to accommodate for the work being done. He used a copper line for the refrigerator water line.

Martin also worked in our bathroom due to a constant drip from the shower head.

Honest and fair pricing. His work is guarantee for a year. I would recommend to friends and definitely use for future plumbing needs.

Martin came out early in the morning on the same day I called him. We have a difficult drain and he snaked the thing from 9-12 in the morning and didn't give up until he had it unstopped. He also fixed a leaky faucet that had been plaguing me for awhile. All the while he was very helpful and friendly. The bottom line is that he is knowledgeable, competent, friendly and reasonable when it comes to pricing. He is our go to plumber now. I would and will recommend him to all my friends and family.
