I hired Martin to complete two simple plumbing tasks, one, install a new kitchen faucet with four holes and then install a new bathroom fixture. He scheduled a time and then was over an hour late to my appointment. First inclination of concern, Then he came out and began questioning me about my house, the money teachers make, the cost of houses in my neighborhood, etc. Very strange.As he was installing the new fixture in kitchen (had a leak from the last installer) I asked him if he was going to use silicone or plumber's putty to stop the leak and she shared that is the old method, plumbers don't use that now. I was a bit uncomfortable at that point but allowed him to continue. I teach, he plumbs, figured he was up on his profession. Needless to say, within the hour the leak continued, in both faucets. Called him back, he couldn't come back for 3-4 days to correct the problem. He came back, when my son and I questioned him he got very defensive and basically said. ""sue me then"" . I was shocked at this behavior. I had to walk out of the house and allow my 30 year old son to deal with him. Eventually he fixed the bathroom faucet with the correct tape, putty and silicone and made an attempt to fix the kitchen with no avail. I called him again and shared it was leaking still. He made an appointment, which again he called to change the time being 1 and 1/2 hours late..ugh!! This time he was much more friendly, brought the silicone, used it and and I have not had any problems since then. I hired him because I believe in the private, small business people and want to give them a shot before hiring a name brand company, but in retrospect I should have gone with the big name company. He charged me $ 200 per faucet, Not sure what the going rate is but feel that for that price he should have been much more on top of his game. To me he is a big of a scam artist and depending on the neighbor you live in will jack the rates up high. I do not think I would use his service in the future.,,and I question the yelp reviews he gets here...I think possibly family and friends to boost his ratings!!

Razor Rooter Plumbing is the best in town! Highly recommended! Martin helped my family out with our questions & concerns. He did a fantastic job! It's hard to find kind hearted people now a days. price point is fantastic! Low price, high quality service. A must! Everyone needs to give Martin a call for your plumbing needs or anything clogged. He will be out and about as quickly as he could. Thank you Martin for helping me and coming out in such an advance notice!

Needed a plumber because my main house water line broke, so I called a few places to get an estimate. One company sends somebody over 4 hrs after they said 1 hour then he quotes $$$$ but I say ok because its the main water line and I didnt want more problems. He goes to pick up parts and comes back to tell me, the only place open doesnt carry the part...lol. I search online and find razor rooter, who gives me an estimate over the phone, comes over around the appt time, does a great job, gives a super competitive price ( a much better price than the other places), was courteous and very professional. Needless to say, I cancelled the other guy. Definitely would use again and recommend Razor Rooter. THANKS AGAIN

I called and Martin answered I asked for a quote to clean out a 3 inch line and described the problem. Martin quoted me $99. When he got here (4 hours late) he tried to raise the price to $249. I reminded him that he had quoted me $99. He countered with an offer of a 25% discount if I would write a review - I countered that he wouldn't like my review. After a bit of discussion I declined his services. I rented a 3"" snake from Home Depot for $61 and cleaned out the line myself.

Martin does not seem to understand the importance of keeping his word, nor did he understand the plumbing problems involved.

I do NOT recommend Razor Rooter for these reasons.

Thanks for stopping my two bathtubs's dripping problem today, Razor Rooter and Martin! A few other company's plumbers offered to change the whole bathtub(!) or to ask the association's plumber because it was
too old, etc. So it was getting on my nerves and confusing.
But this company and the guy finished up my problem quickly and perfectly today. I'm so happy now! I appreciate you guys.

I had some plumbing issues and decided to call razor rooter . They answered the phone after hours and I scheduled an appt with him to come the following day .the following day he was here right on time and did a great job with my plumbing issue cleaned up after himself and charged me a fair price for the job. He's very competitive on his prices and does a great job I would recommend him to anybody !!!!!!

I have used this company twice. Razor Rooter is relable and higly reccommeded. I had problems with my plumbng. I called about 5 different companies, they each came and gave me a quote. Razor Rooter was the bestt quote. Marin got here quick and he did a great job. He is professional , friendly, and trustworthy. Thank you Razor Rooter!

Dissatisfied with the quality of the estimate. ""Martin"" made many assumptions as to the cause of the problems identified, made a few claims that contradicted general / common knowledge and suggested unnecessary costly solutions to problems that I identified. He didn't bring a pad of paper or estimate template with him to provide an explanation of the work that would need to be completed, including identifying / labeling the problem. Based on other reasons, I would not trust ""Martin"" to perform the work. I am only referring to the individual as ""Martin"" because that was the name on his shirt. I did not choose Razor Rooter to complete the estimate. I would not have chose Razor Rooter to complete the estimate based on past Yelp reviews or on the photos posted.
