This was the type of service you wish you got from all service providers. They called ahead, were there when they said they would be, and were professional and courteous. Donnie was friendly and answered all my questions; and even fixed a sump pump which wasn't what he had come for. In addition, he went above and beyond by helping with a drainage issue from the sump where it exited the house. And i feel the price was very fair for the work done. Recommended!

This is the worst customer service I have ever experienced. I had a guy come out and said he could fix the problem. Called the shop back and the owner said the guy didn't know what he was talking about and basically down-talked his employee then had the nerve to get an attitude with me. A customer who would have been a paying customer. But after the owners funky attitude he WILL NEVER get my business. I DO NOT recommend this company.

When I was in desperation, Ray's came through. I had a massive clog in my sewage and it required a 12' deep hole to be dug in my front yard for a clean-out to be installed. Ray's came through on getting the job done at a very reasonable rate. Jerry and his guys are great to work with. A+

We have used Ray's twice for service, once was a leaking toilet valve and the 2nd was for a broken pipe in our basement. The phone number leads to a cell phone that has had the same outgoing message for the past 7 months. It generally takes 2-3 days to get a return call which I see is something listed in other reviews. The first time they came out, the problem wasn't fixed so they had to come back out to repair, which they did at no charge however the employee who did the work left metal shavings and fingersprints all over my bathroom which took a while to clean up. The 2nd time we used their service, they were quick and came in under their orginal quote however they left the lights on in my (unfinished) basement which I didn't discover until a week later when I went down to check if they had left their ladder down there after they called me.
I would recommend based on price however their customer service leaves something to be desired.

Easily the worst customer service I have ever dealt with. Called on a Thursday for a complete shutdown of my plumbing, was told I would be contacted later that day, was not contacted at all through the weekend. When I called Monday, they were very rude and told me they ""forgot"" about my call. They proceeded to say they were too busy to send anyone out. They showed up 1 hour late on Tuesday without the correct parts and said they would come back the next day. Here I am, the next day...1 hour late and waiting. No answer at the shop, been letting it ring for more than half an hour.

I would stay away if you have any other options.

My kitchen sink was clogging and I had no idea what plumber in the Springfield area was the best so I started going down the list:

Ridings: 3 seperate charges and a fluctuating charge depending on what tools they use. No thanks

Mike Williams: I hate when the receptionist is automatically booking my appointment when I haven't even agreed to anything. $59 charge just to get the plumber out there and they won't even give you an estimate so you're either out $59 or you're forced to use them and they can set the price to whatever they want. Very sneaky

Easterday: 1 set price that was $150. Not bad, but I can do better...

Ray's Plumbing: 1 flat price lower than Easterday. The guy said you get my plumber, his equipment for 1 hour, no other hidden costs. Plumber gave me a 30 min warning phone call. Arrived on time with another plumber on hand. Brought in a small machine and started away. Only took them 15-20 mins total and it was done. Very professional and courtious. 90 day guarantee gives me ease of mind as well. You have earned my future business.
