I recently purchased a 50 year old home in Twin Peaks, CA and upon the inspection I knew I was in for a lot of plumbing work. Over 2/3 of the house had to be completely repiped with PEX plumbing pipes to replace rusted Galvanized Steel pipes. In addition, there were washing machine hoses that has to be replaced, missing turn on/off valves needing to be replaced, a bathroom vanity that was too high and needed to be lowered which also meant lowering the plumbing fixtures, as well as a new water heater installation. This was a major job that was also going to require a general contractor to take care of the wall cut-outs while the pipes were being installed. Ray, and his team are the BEST OF THE BEST!!! Ray went so above and beyond for me and really treated my home as if it was his home. He also recommended the General Contractor, Ken from The House Doctor, who turned out to be fantastic as well. Upon wrapping up the job, Ray phoned to let me know there seemed to be a problem with the Wall Heater. Ray is not in the heating and air business and could have just left my home as it was. Instead he called one of his main Heating licensed contractors and Greg from Cantrell's was at my home within 15 minutes. He discovered a hole in the heater that was leaking carbon monoxide. I was not at my new home while this was all taking place, and fortunately the heater had not been running so no carbon monoxide leaked out while work was being done. The next day I drove up to my mountain home and Greg from Cantrell's went down the mountain, picked up a brand new replacement wall heater, and stayed well into the night to install the heater and properly install a new digital thermostat. I feel so safe in my home now. Not only did Ray and his team deliver the best plumbing work at very competitive pricing, Ray also is an amazing resource for other licensed contractors. We found Ray on Yelp after a huge leak was discovered in our wall that had been going on for who knows how long and done quite a bit of damage in a bedroom on a lower level. Ray answered my husband's call immediately, and was ready to roll out as soon as we needed him. He was prompt, courteous, very knowledgeable and quickly corrected our problem. He returned the next day as another issue arose, and corrected that. Problems solved. We are grateful and would call him again for any of our plumbing issues. We were in a panic. Everything was backing up into the shower so we couldn't use any of our toilets and to make matters worse we have to sell our house and expected people to look walk through our home in just hours during Open House. Another plumber said he would be here but showed up a day late and couldn't fix the problem. Ray showed up on time and fixed the entire problem. You might get a slightly lower quote from another plumber but do you really want to rely on someone who shows up a day late and then doesn't even know what they're doing? I highly recommend Ray and would use him again in a heart beat. He's the best!

Call Ray for all your plumbing emergencies/needs. On a Monday afternoon I called him to check out a slow water leak within a wall. Tuesday morning, he removed a wall panel behind the washer & dryer and discovered all of the 38 year old Chinese galvanized pipe was rusted out.
He re-piped with PEX Wednesday & Thursday. The water was turned off on Tuesday and back on Thursday. He had to jackhammer some rockwork to get to the rotten pipe feeding in from the meter. The wall holes were expertly repaired.
Ray re-installed the hot water heater and replaced many old fittings, gas lines & shutoffs, hoses, sink drains, bathtub drain, washer hookup, water filters, & a kitchen faucet. His pricing is reasonable, but alas, not cheap. I'm saving up for re-pipe part 2, to replace the remaining old pipes. Ray is friendly and dependable.

Ray saved the day on a Sunday afternoon when I had a faulty toilet valve that broke loose and was at risk of flooding the property. I had a tenant on the property and the water was off as a result. I was in a jam and Cedar Glen hardware didn't have the part I needed to replace as well as a few other places I called. I called a dozen other local plumbers and either they didn't answer or gave me an absurd amount just to come over.

I called Ray and he was over within the hour and was able to get me back up and running within about half an hour.

Ray was very reasonable on his rates and did an excellent job of making me feel comfortable and reassured that it would be okay. His quality of work was also great!

I'm a fan and he's now the first on my list in Lake Arrowhead for plumbing.
