On March 1st, Ray's Complete Plumbing marked its 61st anniversary of delivering prompt and affordable plumbing services to Charlotte and nearby counties. Founded in 1957 by Raymond A. Webb in Coral Gables, Florida, the company transitioned to Charlotte County to work alongside the Mackle Bros. in residential and commercial construction in Port Charlotte. In 1991, after eleven years of service, Dave Burnett took ownership of the company. In 2005, the company faced substantial damage from Hurricane Charlie and moved to a new 3000 square foot office and warehouse in Punta Gorda. In 2013, Ted Steele took over the company, opening a new site in Englewood, FL, and extending Ray's Plumbing's services to Sarasota County. Currently operating as Ray's Complete Plumbing, we also offer air conditioning services via our sister company, Kobie Complete Heating & Cooling, Inc..
Ted Steele, who has owned Kobie Complete Heating & Cooling, Inc. since 2002, ventured into plumbing with his acquisition of Ray's Complete Plumbing in 2013. He maintains the company's excellent reputation and has expanded Ray's service area to cover all of Sarasota County.

Jim T.When I Ray's Plumbing I was told there was a $69 show up/estimate charge, and $125 per hour labor charge. The plumber showed up 45 minutes after the time the dispatcher said he was showing. (No Big Deal) I never got an estimate. He just started to work and I was fine with that. The plumber was in and out of our condo for a total of 45 minutes, then another 15 minutes outside, I assume making out the bill. The bill was $355. When I asked about the charges he said my job was a (TASK) job. One of the $135 """"tasks"""" was to attach my disposal. (5 minutes) The truck was in the parking lot quite a while after the job was done, and he was paid. If you deal with these people get your estimate in writing.
