If I could have given no stars I would !
BAD is the service! New custom house, 20 months in house. They installed all the plumbing and here we are huge knocking/hammer sound every time the irrigation starts comes on causing the interior sprinkler system gauge to spike to a point where we were concerned the interior sprinkler syst would kick in one day!
They come and check without really being helpful, and they state it's a sprinkler issue not plumbing! OF COURSE! I do my own online investigation and it appears that when water pressure comes in and the pipes are close to the 2x4 the expansion caused by the pressure could cause a knock if no dampners where used during installation....of course they weren't and Rayborn said we'll that would be really expensive to do this now! Amazing!! I even send a video showing the gauge spike and sound and with the amazing customer service they provide they did not even get back to us ! No hep to try and find a solution!!!!
THE BILL CAME!!!! $210 for NOTHING!!!! Worst customer service ever do not use them they will gauge you for the $$$ !

They came out to caulk two drains in our tubs when we sold our home. The buyer's inspector had noticed that the caulk was uneven and the buyer requested a professional plumber to repair the caulk even though there were no drain issues. When we received the bill from Rayborn they had charged us for two entire tubes of caulk, even though they did not even use one (at a significant up charge for each). Even worse though one drain was not caulked correctly resulting in water pouring down from the ceiling into the room under the shower. When we followed up with them about the issue they claimed it was not their fault. We had no issues with the drain prior for nine years, but after their work a giant expensive leak they refused to pay for.

Every negative review is accurate. Horrible experience, had to hire another plumber to repair the issues Rayborn Plumbing caused.

Horrible business. I've never been treated worse, as a REPEATING CONTRACTOR, like I was by Rayborns Plumbing. Most unsettling experience I've had with them by far. No business has ever talked down to me like that, as a contractor.

Other bad reviews stated they received an apology - they didn't apologize to me.

Nonetheless, I will not be doing any business with them in the future.

I've had nothing but quality work done by Rayborn Plumbing. Yelpers tend to be the most critical towards small businesses, I'm not saying something didn't go wrong on these other calls but its plumbing for crying out loud, and if you live in the Portland area the chances are your whole system is old. and maybe one connection to a new connection fails later on. Thats the nature of plumbing. These guys have been servicing my properties for the last ten years and I've had nothing but extraordinary services from them. They are the best company I have ever used in the Portland area. I highly recommend them to anyone.

Bad! They replaced a kitchen faucet, but left in the old connecting flexible hose (they hooked up new hose to the old hose!). From the beginning it wiggled all around and leaked. Very poor quality. Ended up calling another plumber, Sutherland Plumbing, who fixed up Rayborn Plumbing's screwups.

Someone else explained to me that some plumbers, such as Rayborns, deals mostly with the new housing trade on a mass install basis and are not experienced plumbers you want fixing old work plumbing.

I live in an older house, but the plumbing was all redone a few years ago with new PEX piping. Also the leak was between the faucet and connecting hose--both new parts in a kit that Rayborn Plumbing connected. Having an older home had nothing to do with it (as alluded to in another review).

Also it required several callbacks to get service and to order the faucet, as they did not callback after waiting several days. Once we did contact them, they forgot about us and didn't really know what they were doing--simple things such as ordering the kitchen faucet.

This was the worst experience we have ever had with a technician who came to our home. A man from Rayborn installed a new faucet for the kitchen sink. When I began to have trouble with it, I called the company multiple times. I was always told they were working on it, or they couldn't get the information they needed, or whatever. Finally, we called a different plumber. He explained why the faucet installed would never work with our set up. We had to spend hundreds more on a different faucet and pay to have it installed. Absolutely the worst service ever. We wasted hundreds of dollars on them.

Very disappointing result of a ridiculous $400 plumbing bill. Called about corrosion and ended up with a still leaking water heater and a $1500 bid for a new one. Save your money!

Had a nasty leak under the kitchen sink, which i thought was our new dishwasher. I called Rayborn's on a referral from family After sending them a pic of our faucet, they told me to buy a faucet in case it was bad. Then made an appointment which was in two days. I thought that was unbelieveable since I waited almost 3 weeks for the dishwasher plumber.

When he came , it took 15 min to tell me I did not need a new faucet, and fixed leak by tightening handle. Will definately refure them to all

I was very, very pleased with my encounter with Rayborn's Plumbing. Honesty, integrity, and quality workmanship. No one wants to call a plumber, but if you have to, call these guys.
