I called for an emergency apt because my toilet was clogged. They were professional and quick. They texted me and called to let me know my technician was on the way. And when he left they called to make sure the apt was good. Shawn was extremely nice and professional. He even put a matt on my doorstep before he came in. Would recommend them to anyone that needs a great plumbing service!
Carol S.I called yesterday and a plumber was here today. In the past,I've called other plumbers who either didn't show up or made me wait for an appointment. I called Ray the Plumber and they sent over Michael to assess what needed to be done. Several other guys came over to assist and get the job done and they worked non stop. I had the water heater replaced, a waste pipe repaired and a new pump under my basement sink. I am very happy with the work performed and the guys were all neat and courteous. Needless to say, I would recommend Ray the Plumber. They are reliable and do the job right.
Heather M.We just bought our house last week moved in immediately after. The house sat on the market for about a year but overall was brand new, all pipes replaced, electrical re done, new roof, floors etc. Unexpectedly our main water line bursted in our laundry room, so naturally my first call was to the plumber. They were very nice over the phone, getting someone over here immediately. Mike was knowledgeable, fast and clearly knew exactly what he was doing. We had a clog of grout, spackle and other debris blocking the line. Had our house running back to normal ASAP. Even gave us new caps for the water line since the clog shot them straight off! Would definitely use them again, but hopefully we won't have to.
I would leave zero stars if I could.
Ray was recommended to install a whole house water system by the company who sold it to us. In good faith, my wife called Ray to get an estimate. Unbeknownst to me, Ray charged my wife $75 (69 +tax) as a ""service fee"" to give us an estimate. I spoke to Megan at their office and she was quite uneducated as to why someone would be upset for having to pay for an estimate. The company policy is that if you hire them at their exorbitant prices, they'll credit you the $75 toward the price if the job. This seems to be a shady practice in my opinion.
I have several other plumbers in my area who will give me free estimates and do quality work for a lower rate.
Mike M.Quoted a job for me - $1500 MORE than next closest bid. Advised that I needed much more work than the contractor that eventually did the work. Stay away from these guys. They seem very nice - but they are sharks ready to take advantage of the consumer.
Janice M.Our main water pipe rotted (original in home since 1952). My son called Ray the Plumber, they came right away the next morning. We got our quote and they cane on time early the next morning and did an awesome job. We even got a senior citizen discount! Very professional, neat and cordial. I recommend them to anyone in need of their services, very happy.
I always call Ray the Plumber for all of our offices when needed. I am never disappointed. They are always professional and reliable.
Bob G.From a service standpoint I can't ask for anything better.
The plumber was 100% professional! Every service Pro who walks into someone's home should have to take a lesson from how ""Ray"" conducts themselves! The homeowner should feel as if the job was fixed and you had no idea anyone came in your home! That's Ray the Plumber. They lay a mat out upon entrance and wear booties as if they were walking into a surgical procedure!
Everything installed and fixed within an hour and I had same day service! Spectacular!
The only drawback is you pay for professionalism!
$399. Plus tax for 1 hours work. ( no parts) Needless to say I paid the bill as I had the right not too.and find someone else! I would have shopped around but beggars can't have the time to be choosers two days before Thanksgiving! Very happy but it ain't cheap!
. I would give a minus 5 rating if it was allowed. It is well known in the industry, plumbing supply sores and locals that this is the most crooked, bad news and nefarious plumbers. They are set up to story-tell and steal. In Bay Shore, they not only lied, charged me up the gazoo and then barely make my heater run, they induced a leak over time, disregarded my proofs ands pics, and forced me to find out from my HS plumber friend what htey caused, denied at had me fix after hundreds of dollars. I had to self learn and fix it myself. They give you the honest and convincing sales pitch and then play dumb when it is broken. Buyer beware! Caveat emptor!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Do not become a victim or sucked in by well-painted trucks and lines of convincing crap fed to know by the estimators.!
Connie M.They charge $69.95 plus tax (I gave him cash which he dropped outside my house) just to come look tell you what they think is wrong and then give you an estimate.
My issue was a leak from the upstairs tub and I needed a new spout. After the price they gave me of over $900. I called a friend to look. 1st he laughed at the price. Then he tighten the screw, we ran the water for 10 minutes no leak. The spout he found one for $7.99.
I was afraid to ask about the leaky toilet. So watched a HOW TO video. Installed a new toilet myself.
Try to do it yourself before calling anyone.
