I have used Ray Plumbing for YEARS.... and noticed recently that my charges have increased significantly for his service calls - and because I trusted him, I paid him NO QUESTIONS ASKED.

Most recently he came to my house to fix the sewer drain in the front of my house. He told me he would bring a friend of his to do Hydro Jetting, and since it was his friend he could get me a GREAT price of $800.00 but that it should cost $2000. I paid him for his time AND $800 for his friend.

Less than a year has gone by and I just hired a firm to do Hydro-jetting for $149.00....( with a camera to see the broken pipe and a solution for my problem)

so, make sure you get three quotes before you hire him or any plumber for that matter. There are many options and no ""set price"" for plumbing I have since learned.

Ofer arrived early to diagnose a leak in the kitchen. He thoroughly checked all the possibilities and found the problem which was with the refrigerator. He plugged the leak as a temporary measure until I could get the appliance repair done. He made sure to explain everything and show me what he was doing. He cleaned up, gave a fair price. I was very happy with the service and his enthusiasm and commitment to do a thorough job.

We first used this company in 2007 and have never used anyone else. He always makes the best effort to show up as soon as possible even when he is working on a project across town. There were a few times when he was able to arrive less than half an hour after I called him. He always charges VERY reasonable prices. He is very efficient and gets the job done quickly and does quality work. The best thing is that he will say in a joking manner ""Plumbing problems can be good for me since I can make money, but they are bad for you. Let me show you how to save money next time."" Then he will show you how the problem occurred and how to prevent it the next time. For example, a few months ago, our kitchen drain backed up and I couldn't unclog it so I called Ray Plumbing. After unclogging it using the rooter, he told me the culprit was egg shells. I do not eat eggs but my wife and daughter do so I let them know not to put egg shells in the garbage disposer.

I have given his phone # to people I have known who were having plumbing issues. I wouldn't recommend anyone else!!!!!
