This guy is great! I had a shower drain back up on me on a Sunday, and I had to get to work very early the next Monday morning. He came over at 7 pm on that Sunday night, cleared up the problem in a half-hour---and didn't charge extra for the last-minute service call on a weekend! I happily recommend him to everyone.

Called on a Sunday to clear / snake a clogged shower.

Talked to Ofer who gave a quote over the phone. A little later he sent a text to confirm when he was on his way, he showed up exactly when he said he would, he was very friendly and informative and got the shower cleared in no time, with a few helpful tips on a couple additional issues as well.

Couldn't have been easier - thanks Ofer!

Still a huge fan of Ofer and this plumbing company:) Thought I'd do a quick update since it's been over three years since I originally reviewed them.
Saw water oozing out of the ""clean out"" drain in the front yard last week and recognized it as indicating we needed to get the main ""snaked"" out! (Yuck!) Called Ofer, and he responded promptly that same day. He arrives and immediately addresses your issue in a competent and speedy manner. A man of little words, but admirable action! It took him under 20 minutes to work his magic on the main pipe and we've been fine ever since. He is also CLEAN, for a plumber...puts things back in place and doesn't track mud all over.

I came home last week and the sink in my guest bathroom was leaking, i called up my friend asking her if she knew of a a good affordable plumber and she quickly recommended Ray. I called him and he came for a free estimate. I called up a couple other company's who gave me over the phone estimates. Ray actually came in person, was very kind and helpful. He only fixed what needed to be fixed.. didn't try and push on more then what was needed (that Was my problem with my last plumber) i now understand why my friend so quickly recommended him and i do as well!

I have user Ofer for years, calling him directly. Although he once charged us $1300 for a hot water heater, I have been satisfied that his charges were fair.
This week, we hired him to replace a side door to the garage. He gave us a price of $500. He called later to say that he needs $250 more because Home Depot doesn't have doors with 2 holes for locks, and they don't have painted doors, only primed. We said OK.
He came with his brother-in-law from Israel, with a door that had two lock-holes, but wasn't painted, only primed, and from Home Depot. The internet shows that model number at Home Depot for $146 (retail, w/o discount).

I lived in Israel for a while, and I have some understanding of the way that Israelis work, and their standards. Ofer & his B-I-L walked off the job in a huff, after the old door was removed and the door frame was torn out, after threatening to put back the old door and leave. Yes, the new door was installed, but it doesn't fit well top vs bottom, still needs some molding and stucco work, weather stripping and installation of locks. The two of them didn't take away the old door, and even didn't clean up the trash. We paid the agreed-upon price without complaint, because that's what we had agreed to pay and we didn't want more trouble. We are looking for a worker to finish Ofer's job.

Ofer is a nice guy, and has given us good service as a plumber. But every once in a while, he smells an opportunity to take advantage. He's not alone that way, but it's a disappointment. He was over his head in this job, he knew basically how to install the door, but not enough to take into account all the measurements and pitfalls that go along, plus he lacks the kind of integrity that American workers have to complete a job that he will be proud of. From my experience, that's a common problem with Israelis.

Amazing Plumber! I called on a Sunday afternoon with a leak into my garage. Ray came out in less than an hour and simply would not give up until he solved the challenging issue. On top of that he helped clean up afterwards and charged a very reasonable rate. Highly recommend him!
