Problem: leak in pipe under bathroom sink. Plumber arrived 3:14p. Plumber noted immediately the variety of pipe used (PB); he said he would have to see if he had a fitting that would work. That took 5 minutes to walk to his truck and back. Ten minutes after rechecking the parts he had brought, he came to me and said he would have to go to a supplier to see if he could get the right material. At that point, having been there less than half an hour he reported that so far I now owed 175.00... IF ...he stopped and DIDN'T FIX the problem, or, he could go and see what he could find that could work, come back and fix the problem for another 175.00. What would you have done?? A) pay someone 175.00 to tell you he had come without the necessary material to solve your problem and be left with the problem which was was now leaking at a faster rate than when he arrived. B). There is no ""B"". He left, was gone less than half an hour, came back, replaced the fitting in less than 20 minutes. The last time I looked, 2 X 175 equaled 350.00. Since plumbers now do not give you a receipt for the price of the parts used, and since we are not supposed to ask for them!! I went on line and found info for flex fittings: miniscule!! I am wondering what could have cost the additional 106.56? Oh, maybe it was the tax?!!! Or, is it I am a senior AND a woman?

I called Lusk Plumbing to check for a gas leak. Then sent a guy out who sprayed some soapy water and said he couldn't find or smell a leak. $175.00 for a service call. We still smell gas. Total rip off. Who charges so much for a so called 'service call'? Will never call or recommend these 'plumbers' again.

I've used Ray Lusk Plumbing on several occasions and I've been happy with their service. They get me on the schedule quickly and have been pleasant to deal with even in unpleasant circumstances. Their plumber Rick is very knowledgeable, helpful, and friendly. He takes the time to answer all of my many questions and explain what he is doing, and he went above and beyond when we were having trouble locating my buried clean outs. He has been realistic and transparent about options and pricing. Highly recommend!

Great service. No upfront fee for the quote. Both the person who answered the phone and the plumber who came out to give the quote were very professional. Their quote was 50% lower than competitor. Very impressed.

We called another plumber before finding Ray Lusk. The other plumber's estimate was two times as much as Ray Lusk's for the same job and they charged us $79 just to look at the toilet. Ray Lusk did not charge us for the diagnostic visit. Gary was our plumber and he was polite, efficient and highly capable. He told us what our options and costs were, but he did not try to upsell us. We won't call any other plumber in the future. Five stars!
