I had a gas leak near the back of the guesthouse so I requested quotes from several plumbers here on Yelp. Rave was fast and responsive and came out to my house on-time. The two young gentlemen quoted $125 to dig up the dirt and check for underground line leak, which I thought was fair. After exposing the underground gas line, they performed leak test but found the leak was at an above ground connection and not below ground. They then quoted me $375 to re-seal the joint. I asked why it's so expensive, they said it's because they had to take several things apart and redo at least 5 connections. After I went ahead with the quoted job, they really only redid 2 connection and it wasn't nearly as much work as they described it would be. Worse than that, after they were done with their job they found another leak at a location that was previously checked with no issue. Instead of first checking the connections they've resealed and tightening a few joints, they proposed to replace the entire connection fitting for $350. I told them I don't believe this fitting would be faulty especially it was a new construction less than 2 years old, but they insisted that was the problem so I negotiated the price down to $250 and went ahead with it. While they were out to grab the new part, I looked up the fitting's manufacturer's website and understood how the connections work, then took a couple wrenches and tighten the clamping nut on the fitting. Viola! The leak was no longer present and the gas line was holding pressure. Turned out they loosened a connection while they were tightening the other two. When the plumbers came back with the new part I told them I explained how I fixed the problem and no longer needed the expensive fitting to be replaced. They filled the dirt back and charged me $500 total ($125 for digging + $375 for resealing a couple connections). They were nice and courteous young men, but I felt they didn't have a good understanding of the system and the problem, overcharged for a simple job and proposed expensive solution instead of doing the most basic checks first. I don't feel like I've got the value I've paid for and I would not recommend this plumbing company.

I had a leaking pipe under the kitchen sink. I gave them a call in the morning and they were able to come out within a couple hours. The tech was able to assess and make the repair cleanly and efficiently! I highly recommend them and would use their services again!

Our kitchen sink was clogged! We were stood up by another vendor who was a no she after we waited 24 hours! Ron and Antoine came out right away and got us going again. The job was done well, quickly and efficiently. They even had a garbage disposer on the truck to fix our broken one, so we got 2 problems fixed in one visit. I have their number on the fridge now...they will be our first call from now on.

After recognizing that we had a main line drain related plumbing problem that needed urgent attention we called Rave. Dario and Chris showed up within 30 minutes. Both young men were polite, considerate and willing to to the job. The drain was cleared and since the house is 73 years old we were advised that the old section of the house still has cast iron pipes. Camera shots of the pipe draining showed all the corrosion . We elected to contract with Dario and Chris of Rave Plumbing to replace all the cast iron pipes.

Home Depot fridge installers said they wouldn't touch our copper line to install the icemaker. Luckily Bryan from Rave would! Showed up in 10 minutes and was out in less than 30. Now drinking filtered water from my new fridge. Thank you Bryan!!

What a relief! I called Rave after noticing my fridge's water dispenser was slowing to a trickle, sneaking a peak under the sink, and realizing the inline filtration system was years past its expiration. Ron came out quickly, confirmed the system was shot (in fact, it sprung a leak moments after he started examining it), and performed a bypass that completely resolved the issue. He was professional and candid, walking me through his process every step of the way. Not only was the workmanship quality, but honest and affordable, too! I'll definitely be calling Rave for any additional plumbing needs in the future.
