An electrical emergency came up and I called them early on Saturday and within an hour, they showed up and the technician did a fantastic job. I then needed some major electrical work done, and I called and they quickly booked me with some support and they showed up exactly on time...and they did a fantastic job within an hour. The technician/expert then spent time explaining what caused the problem and how to address. Plus the pricing was reasonable. I highly recommend Raufi Services for any electrical work. Raufi Servives is absolutely the BEST contractor for all your electrical and plumbing jobs. They definitely know what they are doing, and they are honest. They have reasonable prices, and they do excellent work! We are smiling ear to ear we are happy to say! And it also doesn't matter how big or small your job is. Even though the company is very busy with many customer jobs, Shaw, with Raufi Services made us feel like we were VIPs and like we were the most important and only job Raufi Services had! From beginning to end, they are polite, well mannered and respectful in your home and when on the phone. Raufi Services arrives on time, they work quickly, quietly, and they always clean up upon completion of a project. In fact Shah and his co-worker worked so quietly and efficiently in our home that we nick named them, ""The Ninjas!"" Raufi Servives put up three ceiling fans and one light fixtures for us. They carefully cut drywall, sanded and painted and also did the wiring for some of the ceiling fans. All jobs were done perfectly! Raufi Services put in dimmer switches and put in additional electrical outlets for us in the bathrooms. We can't say enough good things about the work Shaw with Raufi Services did for us. They are the only plumbing and electrical company for us! We are hiring ""The Ninjas"" for all our future plumping and electrical needs Thank You Raufi Services for making our home improvement job stress free and pleasant!

DON'T TRUST THESE GUYS

I placed an advert on craigslist stating that my ceiling fan wasn't operating . The advert clearly stated that Id pay $120 labour for someone to fix it

Got a call from someone who didn't tell me he worked for this Company just said he could fix it. No issues....... but why not use your Company name. It seems they wanted me to think that they were just a local guy not a company..
After cancelling the original appointment they finally turned up in the van marked Raufi services.. I was not that concerned at first,.

They then examined the fan and told me that the wiring was all wrong and there was no way the remote could work as the unit was wired directly into the wall switch ( turns out that was correct as without that it couldn't get power. The transmitter which is a small part and an easy fix was actually the issue) They then claimed that there was no transmitter(ASTONISHING) They were quite insistent that this was the case. Leaving me to believe that my previous tenant had had something done to make a mess of it.

As temperatures were very hot and my tenant needed the light and fan to work I went along with there advice to replace the fan.

After installing the fan we stepped outside and then came the STING they wanted $350 !
I pointed out that the price for the job had been advertised at $120 and despite there insistence they finally agreed after I had shown them the advert...The insisted on CASH and wouldn't give me a receipt ( No doubt the IRS will be interested in hearing about them as well)

They also wanted to take away the old fan which was an expensive one originally.I DECIDED TO KEEP IT AND HAVE NOW DISCOVERED THAT ALL IT NEEDED WAS TRANSMITTER THAT COST A FEW DOLLARS.....( shame guys you nearly ripped me off for the fan as well)

Either they dont know what they are doing or really dont care what they do as long as they charge the most they can either way I wont be calling them again and will be posting this to all possible sites I can find

Had been in need of an electrician to fix/replace a corner motion-sensor light. I dread dealing with contractors. After calling the local Home Depot, they referred me to 3 contractors. Shah, from Raufi, was the first one to respond. I normally would wait until I vet 3 contractors but I went out on a limb with Shah.

Shah came to my home in Vienna the same evening. He explained everything in detail and started with the simple things of trouble shooting the old fixture e.g. checking voltage, switching the buttons on it, etc. Basically he was trying to save me the cost of a replacement. When he deemed the old fixture inoperable he replaced it with the new one I previously bought.

Shah was polite, explained everything in what he was attempting, and worked through the dark of the evening. I later found out Raufi Services provides 24 hour services and the techs are used to working in the dark. To boot, he pulled out his blue shoe covers before he entered my house. I had some handy but was pleasantly surprised to see his. Brownie Points!

I used this company once, great service, reasonable price. I put in a request through home depot on a sunday, then contacted me that same day and was at my house within 2 hours, did the work right away, very friendly and professional, and no complaints about the work. would recommend giving them a try.

I contacted Raufi Services through my property manager referral to replace an attic fan. I was surprised with the service and problems. They were consistently late, and on the third such time, it was a window of 1-3 pm, when they arrived at 5:30 pm. There were several mis-communications about the type of fan (although I checked by email) and materials needed. After more concerns were raised on their third visit, and when they were so late to arrive that they said the attic fan installation couldn't actually be started that Saturday eve, I decided not to have them install anything. Very disappointing, as I had made arrangements to be home and waited for them to arrive three times. I identified another electrician a day later through a referral service, and the attic fan and another fan/light were readily installed.
