I had some rusty water issue going on and the Friday before Christmas Rat Rod Plumbing came to check it out. Two very nice employees came, they determined what the problem was pretty quickly and I received a call from the office girl Rebecca to let me know they wouldn't be able to get the part I needed until after Christmas, which I understood. A few minutes later she called right back saying that they found a company that had my part and they would be out Christmas Eve to fix it so I wouldn't have to go through the holidays with rusty water. I was shocked when Saturday morning on Christmas Eve they showed up and fixed my problem but I was even more shocked at the customer service I received from Rebecca, she was refreshing to deal with. I spoke to her on the phone multiple times during this issue and she made me feel like Rat Rod plumbing cared about me. I highly recommend this company and you should ask for Rebecca because she was amazing!! Thank You for a great experience.

Rat Rod Plumbing was assign by my warranty company to view the shut off valves in my ga and outside of my home. I stated that they were both broken. The gentleman that came out was very nice and appeared to be me knowledgeable. When I followed up with my warrany company, they informed me that the work order was modified to include a valve replacement under my kitchen sink, stating that they were informed that there was a leak under my sink. THERE WAS NO LEAK. There was also a request to add a valve in my garage. As I mentioned previously, I told them the valve was broken . It wasn't broken, it was never installed. With that said, it would be on me, the owner, to install the valve on my own. Well, the company submitted a request to install a new valve. Which they should not have requested. They should have provided their finding, of no prior valve being installed. The final item was the outside valve. The warranty company stated that the assessment provided indicated that it wasn't covered. The company attempted to perform additional work outside of my original work order, without my knowledge or permission. When I spoke with Kathy at Rat Rod Plumbing, expressing my concerns and that they should inform the customer, prior submitting for extra work, she said... The work will not cost you anything. I said that that wasn't the point. She said, Bitch, I don't work for you! As a 100% disabled veteran, I'm just going to say, every dollar counts. Don't give your hard earned money to a company that is so disrespectful.

I just read the 1 star review posted by M. L. who received her service from Rat Rod Plumbing through her home warranty company. Since Rat Rod has always given me 5 star service in both my home as well as rental properties that I manage, I found it so contrary to my experience, I wanted to read more and see why she was unhappy and I read it more closely. First, if you have a warranty you need to read every page's fine print and exclusions very carefully. Warranty companies do not replace any item that is missing. My own experiences with warranty companies have taught me a lot. Such as, if you have a handle on your washing machine that is missing for example - its not covered. If its broken they should. I also found out (thru fine print) warranty companies do NOT cover your outside water hose spicket if its broken - the spicket has to be INSIDE the garage, And if you are in Florida, they do not cover pool heaters which they say are included in the coverage unless they are NOT a heater with a heat pump. Yet, most everyone I know has a heater with a heat pump. In reading her review she seemed to blame the plumbing company for her mistakes and she wrote 1. With that said, it would be on me, the owner to install the valve on my own. My first thought was how can you say it was broken, then it wasn't broken then it was never installed. If you read the contract, missing items are never covered. I have found Kathy to be one of the kindest people who works hard to fit you in even when they are busy and what I appreciate most is they diagnose properly the first time, and their fixes don't have to be redone later.
