Recommended Customer Reviews

I had pump problems and no water for close to two days. I called Rasmussen and he called me back at the end of the day. They were out the next day and I have water. Whenever I have pump problems they are out within a day. I would highly recommend them to anyone who needs a good pump company. I have used them for many years and have found them to be very professional, and and very efficient

I had an issue with my pump leaking and also spitting out a lot of air. I called Butch and got same day service. I saw the negative reviews and can honestly say my experience was not the same as theirs. Rasmussen came as a recommendation from my neighbor who also had a great experience. I would absolutely use them again for anything pump related. Honest, friendly, and reasonable. I believe you can trust them to do the job and not take advantage of you if you don't know a whole lot about pumps and issues they have. Another company I called earlier told me I needed an entire new pump system when it was actually just a valve and float. Butch was very informative on the problem and only replaced what was needed. Solid job. Great people. Use them.

It's Friday 3:45pm and there is no water pressure. Anyone living in the country that is on a well knows that aint' good. I contacted my property mgmnt. Co. at 3:46. At 3:51 Rasmussen pump called, they were in the area, they were here shortly after 4. Before 5pm they had replaced a couple of switches, a faulty valve, etc. No problem! I can't thank them enough.

Butch and his son, Lee, helped me with my pump this past Spring. They were the best. Down to earth, wonderful people. They did an excellent job and went over and above to help me with my pump and irrigation filter. I have nothing but the highest praise for them.

My pump was purchased by a previous owner many years ago. The pump was off for 4 years and wasn't working. I called them and they worked with my limited schedule. They not only fixed the issue quickly, reassured us we need need to upgrade eventhough we plan on adding another house an irrigation. Very friendly, helpful and willing to work on my schedule (early on the weekend). Great work!

I have to agree with the review left by BW.
Horrible customer service.
They do not call you back when you call them. I left several messages then I lucked out when they actually answered the phone...
Butch quoted one price and then changed his mind 2 days later when we called to book them to do the job.
I am sorry that my money was not good enough for you....it's ok though...I spent it with one of your competitors!

They don't deserve your business.
Lee and Butch seem nice on the phone, but they're completely unreliable. Most of my interactions were with Lee. He over commits himself, and In his own words to me, he ""pissed off a lot of people."" Props to him for taking ownership of that, but it didn't improve anything.
I asked him when he could *realistically* get the job done, and he gave me a date a week out. The day before, I followed-up and he pushed it off another day. The next day he pushed it off two more days. After that, he stopped responding to me and never showed up.
This is pathetic customer service. I gave him every opportunity to make things right, and he failed every time.
With so many other companies offering the same service, I wouldn't waste your time with Rasmussen.

BEWARE of this boutique father son operation. They only have enough time for 300 to 600 customers per year. Fresno county has atleast 500,000 domestic pumps so the father (Butch) is grumpy and semi retired. The son (Lee) will cut off any customer that repeatedly calls when they ""don't"" show up or if you have you ""cousin"" Vinnie take a look at your pump prior to the ""pump snobs"". If your out of water and all worked up, do not call Rasmussen. This post will have zero impact on the 2 rude businessmen during this drought. They have hung up, cut off, and spoke very rude to several clients that were out of water. We found A and S pump service was a little more money with zero attitude and same day service. I own 28 homes and 15 wells. I remove all Rasmussen sticker and apply A and S. A and S pump phone is (559)322-5838
