DO NOT CALL THIS COMPANY!!! I had them out for a clogged sewer line. The guy said it would be $150 so I told him I had a quote of $79 from another co. He said he would do it for $100. After an hour of listening to the cable go through the lines in the house and even up stairs I told them it's not going down the sewer several times, they stopped and said they needed another truck for $350 more. He worked for an hour with a Hydro Jet and said he couldn't get that done. The water went down in the bathtub and toilet so I was happy. NOT SO FAST!! Two days later it's backed up again.This time the guy comes out and in 20 minutes snakes all the way to the street and sends a camera down to show I have 50% blockage do to roots. Had the !st guy done his job I would be out $100 had the 2nd guy done his job I wouldn't have roots. I called the office to complain and talk to rude and uncaring ass named Jose who said I got a "" Deal "" I'm out $450 and have a sewer line half plugged. These people need to be investigated by contractors licenseing board.

Rapid Plumbing in Torrance has been our go-to plumbing service for years. They've installed faucets, a garbage disposal, fixed the water heater, and repaired pipes in the walls and garage. John, a field supervisor, has been our hero. He and his colleagues do a fantastic job. They are on time, efficient, honest, and do outstanding work in the least amount of time. John is amazing as well as personable. I cannot recommend Rapid highly enough. If there were six stars, I would give them six.

Do not use this company. We struck the main pipe that runs from the meter into the house. Called these people and the guy that came out stared at it for awhile and then turned off the water. This was the only worthwhile thing done. It was an eight inch piece of copper pipe that needed to be replaced. He watched us dig up around the pipe and then said he didn't have any copper pipe on his truck. Say what?? Aren't you supposed to come prepared in that fancy truck? Anyway, he had to call his supervisor who showed up in his fancy truck. Supervisor gave me a quote of $750! I uttered an expletive and told them to leave. Then they came back and said $600 was the rock-bottom price. I told them to leave. THEN they came back and asked what I wanted to pay. I told them to leave. They figured that I would do anything to get water service back to my house. I called in favor from a friend who came over, fixed the broken pipe and a leaky faucet in less than 1 hour, Thsi company left me feeling violated and I would never, ever call them again!

The guy spent two hours. Mostly running back to the shop for parts. Three feet of pipe and $3000 later they were done. I did most of the work. What a ripoff.

What fudge Silvia, are you married to one of those plumbers at rapid, I got ripped off , 300 dollars and was told need big truck for 1600 dollars to clean my pipes, the plumber was rude, he borrowed towels, he made a mess, he left the trash for me to clean, he did not know what he is doing , I want to take them to court, rapid need to be shut down,

Fraud and elder abuse for charging my mom who is a senior $592 for an one coupling and less then 20 minutes to put in place. Never call this company as any positive reviews on yelp are obvious family and friends who are covering for this rip off of a plumbing service.

Big ripoff! Had low water pressure in the kitchen and bathroom so I asked these guys to check the aerators and hoses. Quote to do this was $285. Plus, they had something pre-printed on the invoice called a service fee for another $30 on top of it. I said no way but went ahead and let the guy check the faucets (big mistake). It took about 10 minutes to do the kitchen and shower. For some reason, he stopped at the bathroom sink and just said we needed to re-pipe. He called his supervisor to come out and he agreed. So I wound up paying $285 for 10 minutes of incomplete work (and an estimate of another $1600 to finish up).

The whole thing didn't sit right. Pete's Plumbing came out and cleared out some debris from the pipes to the bathroom sink for $85, problem solved.

On top of it, I called back Rapid Plumbing to clarify the quote they gave me but they were so disorganized on the phone it led nowhere. I left two messages to inquire but in the end someone called back to say we only called as a courtesy follow-up call. Not exactly guys, I called you.

Stay away from these guys. Dishonest, disorganized and at least the guy who came over-unqualified.

Rude and disinterested. I am remodeling my house and asked if they would be interested in bidding on items such as installing a ""soft-water unit, water filtration system, fire sprinkler line, etc."" All the person on the other end heard was ""fire sprinkler"" and freaked out. When I explained that all I needed was a dedicated main water line, not the sprinklers themselves, she basically said we don't do that and hung up on me.

Don't use rapid plumbing! They came out less than a year ago to fix my backed up bathroom. The tech said it was my sewer line. We paid $4200 to fix it. Dug up a 12 foot hole in my back yard to replace it. In August we called them back for the same problem. The tech said we would have to pay and they said my warranty would not cover it. When I complained they said they had fired the tech that came out previously. They snaked the pipes and broke the pipe under the kitchen. We didn't know it then, but found out when we started smelling a rotten egg stench which happened to be water sitting under the house and the bathroom started to back up again. This was in November. Called them out again and they wanted to charge again for a problem never fixed. I argued with the tech who got very upset with me. Talk about customer service. The tech also told me he would snake it for $75.00, but I would have to pay someone else to go under the house with a camera to fix the problem they didn't fix even though they were paid $4200 and i am still under warranty. Save your money and don't risk it. These people are clearly ripoffs!
