STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!!! My grandma had called this horrific place to get a leaky shower head fixed. Simple fix right? No....this guy showed up spent 5 minutes looking at shower. He came out and stated that the copper valve had major corrosion and couldn't get valve off. He also stated that he would have to put a hole in the shared wall to replace all the copper piping. Needless to say, he came back with a $1200 quote. We were shocked!! We told him that we were going to get a second opinion. Alll of a sudden he decided that he would drop the price to $776....what?!! He said since we were going to get another opinion he would not charge for the labor. We asked him why he quoted us so high and then suddenly dropped the price. He only said that he cleared it with his boss. We obviously got another opinion and to no surprise the ""honest"" plummer stated that all we needed was a new cartridge....cost was only $150 out the door!!!! I hope karma bites Rapid plumbing in the butt!! I'll do whatever I can to help that karma along. I had to put 1 star but really he derves a zero!!

Our water heater went out and started leaking late Friday night. I called my usual plumber who didn't answer, ( that's a different review) so I called Rapid because they said they would be here in an hour. 2 hours later they showed up. We got our water back on. Saturday they said they would be over before noon to install the new heater. They showed up at 12:30. 8 and a half hours later it was completed. Yesterday we discovered that the gas vent wasn't secure and called them to come and repair it. We made an appt. for 3:30 today. They didn't show up until after we called and the person we spoke to knew nothing about the appt. It is now 3 hrs after the appt time and they finally showed up. There is nothing Rapid about their service. I won't us them again.
