My husband and I had our kitchen sink back up on us on a Saturday (why do these things always happen on a weekend?). Our regular plumber, who we trust does not work weekends so we were forced to find another plumber. We chose rapid plumbing in the Bloomington area where we live because their ad said they could come out within the hour. They sent a plumber to our home and he unclogged the sink but then told us he wanted to come back the next day with their camera to find out why our sink backed up. This plumber told us he would wave the fee of $129.50 to unplug our sink but would charge $350.00 the next day for the camera work. Like dummies we agreed to this. The next day three plumbers arrived at my home and took what looked like to me some toy equipment (comparing their equipment to my regular plumber's equipment) and after putting their so called camera into my pipes outside told me we had a broken pipe under my concrete of my patio. We believed what they told us. Big mistake. Now to fix the (nonexistent) pipe under our patio would cost us $3200. Again like dummies we filled out a financing form and gave them my husband's social security number on the form. These plumbers were trying to rush us into agreeing to do this job for us but I told them we were going to wait a day or so. On Monday my husband called our regular plumber and told him what these people from rapid plumbing told us about a busted pipe. Our plumber brought his equipment to our home and when I told him where the so called broken pipe was supposed to be located he laughed and said there is no pipe there. So our plumber found no broken pipe anywhere under our house. When we tried to address this issue with a Manager from rapid plumbing it took a number of phone calls from us to them to get a Manager to call us. We are not really sure we even talked to a Manager because this man's attitude was completely unprofessional with his angry tone and fake indignation. He would not even entertain the idea that their plumbers tried to rip us off. This ""Manager"" still wanted to charge us the $350.00 for the camera work even though that price was supposed to include hydro jetting our pipe which the plumbers didn't do because of the so called pipe being supposedly broken. My Plumber told me to contact the State Contractors Licensing Board and only pay the 129.50 for unclogging the sink. Then we get a credit card in the mail from this plumbing company. So I hope my problem with this plumbing company saves other people from going through what my husband and I went through.

Warning don't call these people.. repair guys came out and didn't even know my issues and wanted to change out my line for a Wopping 7800! No thank you I'm not an idiot.they took advantage of and elderly couple up the street from me getting them to pay 6500 so dishonest.
