I had Sergio out for a pipe leaking in my ceiling
He was very knowledgeable and went over all the different options with me. He was very honest, provided fair pricing, set up containment and kept everything very clean! I will definitely be using again!

Please do not use this company. They took advantage of my senior parents. They have been two weeks with no hot water and this company does not want to pay for their mistake. They never want to give their business address. It's almost like a fake company. Please don't use them!!

The technician from Rapid Plumbing was a fast talking hard seller. He was very misleading. He said the sewer line burst and it was a huge emergency, must be repaired immediately... like NOW! The job/price was a stopped up sink for a couple of hundred dollars to a major job/price for thousands of dollars! They are liars and cheats who won't even return my phone calls! Needless to say, do not use this company!!

I'm a little late rating this company, but someone told same I should post it so you are warned. I own a duplex. I live in the larger 3 bedroom, 2 bath unit and rent the attached smaller unit which is 2 bedrooms, 1 bath. In December 2021 ALL three bathrooms (in both units) suddenly started backing up into the bathtubs and showers whenever toilets were flushed. Called Rapid Plumbing in Culver City, Ca. They came out right away. Accessed the problem, using their scope in both units. They decided we needed a new mainline to the street...the kind that is blown in. $14000 but they reduced to $12000, and were Done in 3 hours. However, a couple of months later, February 2022, we had the exact same problem. Using the scope again, Rapid Plumbing determined the problem is the plumbing line in the rental unit is plugged. That line runs under the house and joins my line which goes to the mainline they replaced 2 months earlier. I didn't understand why they didn't see that in Dec since they scoped both units. These plugged lines did not happen in two months time. The cost was another $4000. They assured me all remaining pipes looked good. To make this ordeal more painful I had just had installed new hardwood flooring through out. Yep approx 8x8 section needed to be torn out, but matching flooring all sold out. I had to replace over 250 sq ft of flooring.

Plumbing problem didn't stop there. On 1/25/2023 I called him out as kitchen sink in my unit won't drain. Since I have all new plumbing one would think a 50 ft snake would do the job. But he wanted to hydrojet it before he even got to the kitchen to see what was happening. ($495) I said no just snake it. He left without doing it and made it known he was angry. I called out a different company, costing me $185. On 1/26/2023 when tenants flushed Toilet it back up into shower again. We called Rapid Plumbing because this same problem should be covered under the warranty. But no, it Cost $1790. A short time later the brand new toilet in rental isn't flushing, its clogged. I called Rapid plumbing. They wanted to replace the toilet. I said no, snake it. He said it wouldn't work, so I said we didn't need his services. He left, but sat in his struck watching us. Tenant and i were discussing what we were going to do for about 20 minutes. Suddenly he approaches us with what he walked a toilet snake. I told him that wouldn't accomplish anything, as its not long enough, but I let him try. It didn't work. Then he told my tenants something that really angered me. He told them, they should never be flushing toilet paper down the toilet, but putting the used paper in a plastic bag. Appalled I asked him where he thought we lived. As far as I know, we are still IN CA. He left. I called out the same plumber who snaked my kitchen. At a discounted price he fixed it. Its been fine ever since. Would I ever use Rapid Pluming again...NO, EVEN THOUGH I HAVE A WARRANTY. DO I trust Rapid Plumbing in Culver City, absolute not. I often wonder, when they originally scoped both units in Dec 2021 why they didn't see it plugged up at the joint.

We called Rapid Plumbing because we were getting sewage backup in our inside drains. They dug a hole in the front yard, told us the pipe was broken, and they started to cut the pipe. I asked to see the inside of the pipe to see if there was mud in it and they wouldn't show me. They then stated they needed to cut out the Y. They claimed there were roots in the pipe area but I saw NONE. I was in construction for 40 years and they had no clue what they were doing. They walked off the job, leaving me a HUGE mess in my front yard. I will never hire this company again, they have totally INEXPERIENCED people working for them.

TL:DR - Rapid plumbing left our house without a water supply. This was clearly intentional, see the photo with the large section of pipe cut out. We are just renters, and whatever problem they had with the landlord needed to be dealt with on a professional and legal basis, instead of leaving our house unlivable. I don't know what the legalities are in this situation, but I will be finding out, and if nothing else it's unethical to leave us without water. When we called them, as soon as they figured out who we were they became rude and just said ""It's not our problem"".

We rent a house, which had a water softener with a leaky tank. Our management company sent out Rapid Plumbing. They determined that the system needed to be replaced, and I told them to send a quote to whoever they were dealing with at the management company Didn't expect to hear back soon, if at all, due to the usual red tape, but to my surprise maybe fifteen minutes after the plumber left, he came back to the door to tell me the work had been approved. So far so good.

Then they showed up to do the work. The odd thing there was that the management company didn't tell me they were coming. They always contact me ahead of time when contractors come to do work to verify someone will be home. For that matter, Rapid Plumbing didn't contact me either, they just showed at my door one morning. Seemed odd, but whatever, at least the work was getting done, right? No major complaints about the work. It was a little sloppy, leaked some water on stuff in the garage. I had to help the guy load the old water softener in his truck to take it away. I with they would have told me ahead of time there would some water leakage so I could move things around. Fortunately it wasn't too much water.

Later received an invoice (see photo) which indicated it was paid, $0.00 balance due. Another weird thing: it was sent to my address, not the property management company, and the addressee was just the first name of of the guy at the maintenance company who deals with this stuff. Seemed odd they had gotten paid, but didn't seem to know who to send the invoice to. Whatever, it was taken care of.

Then yesterday the maintenance company contacted me and told me that Rapid Plumbing had done this work without authorization, and needed to come back back and uninstall the system. Annoying, but that's between Rapid and the management company. Guy shows up, I let them into the garage, and about 30 minutes later he rings the bell. I open the door, and he's heading for his truck. Tells me there done and hustles out of there. Seemed weird, so I hurried to the garage to check on things. Water everywhere, not some on the floor like last time, but had splashed on furniture and other items we had in the garage. And a huge section of pipe seemed to be missing. I had a sinking feeling, ran in the house, turned on the faucet. NO WATER. Ran back out to see if I could catch the guy who did the work, but they were long gone.

So now we're left without water. Called Rapid Plumbing, and as noted above, once they knew what account it was concerning they just gave me the brushoff, said it wasn't their problem and there was nothing they could do.

Now, I have no idea what's going on between Rapid Plumbing and the property management company. Something does seem off about the whole story: the on-the-spot ""approval"", showing up without notice, the paid invoice sent to the wrong person and address. But none of that would be my problem EXCEPT that Rapid Plumbing decided to behave in an unethical (and illegal?) manner by leaving our house unlivable, so that now we're going to have to pay to stay in a hotel until somebody fixes the damage they left. At the very least, they could have made the extra effort leave the water running, not splashed water on our stuff, or even let us know the situation instead cutting out our main water supply and running away. Very unprofessional, at best. Do not hire these people under any circumstances.

Andrew Soto and Gilbert helped me tremendously. I was struggling financially and they helped me with the price which I appreciated. Andrew did excellence work and was through. I would definitely use them again.

Beware of Rapid Plumbing License #771683. After having spent $41,450 I was informed by an independent plumber of having been charged 5x's more than what it should have cost.Obviously I didn't know better having never had plumbing problems in the past. Do not use Rapid Plumbing South Bay.

I was in need of a plumber on a Saturday afternoon so I called Rapid Plumbing in Inglewood. They came out to my home in Whittier right away within 40 minutes. I was so pleased that they sent out two very nice professional plumbers, Gilbert and Adrian. They gave me an estimate and were both very professional.

This vendor came to my mom's house to identify a leak and water pooling at the foundation of her house. They claimed, in addition to water coming from a sprinkler, that she needed a 10' section of sewer line under the house replaced - at a cost of $4,800, a mind-boggling charge for a few hours (at most) of work/plastic pipe replacement. It was like the plumber just threw out of price to see my reaction. The problem, in addition to an obscene and out of market rate charge, is that the sewer line showed no evidence of leaking, and that the tech just bid the job, didn't even offer to dig (or bid to dig) a few inches (one foot max) to examine the line. Moreover, the sewer lines under the home run in the opposite direction from what the tech wanted to dig up and charge me for. This company is incompetent and will rip you off. Go elsewhere.
