I hate leaving negative reviews. Most of my reviews are 4 or 5 stars. I wanted to leave these guys a 5 star review because the service guy Sergio V. was so nice. He replaced the main water line under my ass-fault driveway and was polite. The problem was the patch work that was done after replacing the line. As you can see in the picture it does not match at all. The company said they would send someone out to fix it but they just came out, looked at it and said there is nothing they would be able to do. I would be happy to give 5 stars if they were able to make it look better. To bad they did not want to event attempt to. I will remove this low review if they decide to change their minds and post the updated picture showing the great job that they could do.

Do not use this plumbing Co. I called them to unplug my drain system and was charged $398 two days later it backed up again. Marina told me I would need a new line and it would be $2400 less the $398 I paid. He can out dig a hold in the back and told me it would be $10,000.00 because it need be rerouted and he had licenses that would pass the city. I told him No, and what did I owe and he changed me $1800 too dig a hole. I called another Company and they charged me $1500.00 to reroute!!!

Beware of this company (Rapid Plumbing, 5761 Uplander Way, Culver City, CA), I hope my experience does not happen to you. I will never call this company again for a plumbing service -- The plumber from this company quoted $$$ for a simple plumbing service, When he was doing the job, he told me something major is obstructing further down & proposed an additional $3,800 as the cost to fix the problem. When I refused his proposal, he left the job without installing back the toilet bowl that I purchased from them. I complained to the same plumber that same day, but was told I need to fix it myself, Frustrated. I called the main office to complain about the plumber but the manager just defended the worker.... I ended up spending additional cost to install the toilet bowl.

This is first time ever experience a scammer doing as business. EVERYONE DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY ! I DIDNOT READ THE YELP REVIEWS FROM THEM, THAT's why I did not pay attention. DO NOT HIRE!!! SCAMMING A VETERAN!

BY far the biggest scam artist of all. We called them up for a service only for them to do a half ass job and leave. Up charging and telling that after x-ray the house and it's pipes! Clearly the problem the pipe going through the kitCHen because he X-ray through the floors! I know how the machine looks! OK Superman! Not that that it's impossible, but that service never came! Thinking we didn't know thaT. With the job halfway done. Gave us a $3800 quote to finish the job! Called another and honest plumbing company! Totally wrong and got everything working the next day! Plumbers are smarter than most! Why would you not think people would not question that!

If you call them be aware that you may be taken for a ride on the unnecessary work they will add to the bill!!

I recently called Rapid Plumbing to check a small unit of water heather in my office.

Richard G. came to check it and in one minute he said that I needed to replace the water heather and that there was a pipe leak inside the wall. The water heather had a problem but there was no evidence of water coming from the wall. He pointed to some stains on the wall, but those were obviously from outside, not from inside.

I asked him to just shut off the water to prevent leakage and asked for a proposal for the work. They charged me $220 to shut it off.
When I told them that I would call another plumber to have it check to see if there was really a water leak inside the wall, and if there was not, I would like to have my money back, since he was lying to me.
He quickly changed the diagnosis and said that only the water heather was leaking.
I used them before but I totally lost trust in them.

I wish I could give a zero star to this SCAMMER. Be aware of Rapid Plumbing (RS) 771663. Tel: 1800-997-2743. A technician named Andrew J.G. initially came with two other guys to replace a water heater for $1,400. Right around the end of the job, the technician claimed there was a leaking pipe underneath the water heater. He pretended taking a few videos of the leaking pipe and showed them (videos probably taken elsewhere) to the homeowner. They charged $3,000 for the camera/video work. After that, they claimed the roots of some trees around the house punctured some of the pipes around the driveway. It cost the homeowner another $8,500 to get those pipes replaced. The technician, Andrew would escalate the problems one after another, and used tactics such as pressure or fear in order to get the homeowner sign the paperwork for financing. A few weeks later, the homeowner received a bill of $12,000 from My Synchorny Bank. There are no trees around the house and the homeowner is an 80-year old widow who lives alone. Be aware of this company!

I would like to give people cautionary advice if planning to call the service of Rapid plumbing (RS)-771663.

I called Rapid Plumbing Service on 6/30/19 for (1) a drain clog problem,
(2) to fix the leak on the under sink pipe and (3) change the spout of the reverse osmosis system that is leaking. When the technician came, we agreed for $200.00 to fix all 3 problems but because he did not have the materials, he said he will come back the next day so he can do some more test.
The next day, the technician came back with his supervisor named Marco. The supervisor called me at work and told me that they checked the sewer pipes and they found a crack. He said that they will fix it for $2,000 and I don't have to pay $200 to fix the 3 original problems, it is already included in the $2,000.
Later in the afternoon the supervisor called me again that they did some more testing and they found more cracks in the sewer line and have to be fixed to avoid more problem which will cost $30,000 or maybe more. He really got me scared. I told him I will have to think it over because that's a lot of money. Then he said they will fix it for $12,000, again, he won't charge me the $200 and the $2,000. When I told him that I don't have the money, he said their company offers 18 months financing with no down payment. Then he started calculating and telling me how much I will pay every month. When I asked about the permit and the inspection, he said it is easy, he can pull the permit online and an inspector will come later. I tried to negotiate the price with him; first he said $11,000 but I kept insisting it is too much it until finally he agreed for $10,500 and I also agreed because I was on the phone too long and I don't want to get in trouble. They did not finish the job that day.

When they came back the next day, I told him that the charge is too much because I talked to a friend with the same problem and did not spend that much. He said he will knock down $1,000 but they will not change the spout of the reverse osmosis system. Then he told the technician to collect $10,000. When I said it should only be $9,500, he said no, it was $11,000. He lied.

When I asked the technician to give me the receipt after I paid, he said it will take 3 days to mail the paper receipt but he can email it to me. After 45 minutes that the receipt did not come, I called the company number and the secretary, emailed it to me.

But my nightmare is not done yet... before the technician left, he told us that our kitchen faucet has no cold water anymore, only hot water but because he was ordered by the supervisor not to fix anything else, he just said sorry and left. I called the company 3 days after and asked to talk to the manager about the kitchen faucet with no cold water when it was perfectly working before they came to our house. I was told that the manager will call me back...he never did.
Two weeks after, we were contacted by the company that a technician will come to fix our faucet. I was kind of happy that finally they realized what they did to us, however, on the day that the technician is supposed to come, he called first to let us know that we have to pay for the service because it is not part of the contract. That made me so upset that I yelled at him on the phone especially when I ask for a copy of the permit and he said the company does not give copy. I know for sure that they did not get a permit from the City of Chino because I verified. When I told the technician to hold so I can record our conversation, he hang up!

Later, I got a call from Enrique saying he is the manager and want their customer happy but when he said that the faucet with no cold water is not part of the contract and that the permit belongs to the contractor only and they don't give copy to customers. I was so furious that I yelled and he said he could not help me and he hang up too.

So customers with plumbing problem BEWARE!!!

I wont use this company again and I wont recommend them to anyone. We recently had a plumbing problem and we had two different plumbers try to fix it. One company used a snake and the second used a hydro jet. We were told the problem was caused from previous work we had done. That work was done by Rapid Plumbing. Rapid Plumbing fixed a clog and repaired a portion of the pipe in the main line from our main house to the sewer, but they didn't reconnect the sewer pipe from the mother in-law house back to the main line. In Rapid Plumbing's defense, its been a few years since they did the work. We discovered the problem because we're fixing the mother in-law house up and the plumbers testing the new toilets and sinks found they weren't draining. We didn't think it was caused by the work Rapid Plumbing had done until a plumber used a camera to see what was causing the issue and that's when it was discovered the pipe wasn't reconnected. Unfortunately, the work they had done was about 5 feet below ground and we didn't check their work before it was covered up. We called Rapid Plumbing to see if they could fix it, but they're not acting very professional and wont do the work unless we pay them to do it again. It's easier for us to pay the plumber that discovered the problem and we trust to fix it. Personally, I don't trust Rapid Plumbing's work and I hope this post saves you a little time, money, and helps you avoid some frustration. Like the saying goes ""Let the buyer beware"". *Update: The plumber who discovered the problem called to see how everything was going and I asked him if a root could have caused the pipe to break and he said no. He would have saw a connection with his camera if the two pipes had been connected. Rapid Plumbing didn't connect the sewer line from the mother in-law house to the main sewer line when they did a spot repair on the pipe. Rapid Plumbing was supposed to call me today and they didn't. They don't want to take responsibility or investigate further because they'll lose money when they have to make the repair. *Second Update* It was confirmed today that Rapid Plumbing didn't connect the sewer line from the mother-in-law house to the main line after making a repair. They added a clean out and it wasn't glued or secured with a band.
