This company was hired to fix/ replace a plumbing? fixture that failed.
It took 3 visits and on the third try, which was 5 days after the first visit they started a fire in the wall. While the wall started to burn the plumber picked up his stuff and left. He did not have water close by or a fire extinguisher? or water at hand if this was to happen. We gave him bottled water and he tried to put out the fire? and thought it was out. He fled the scene?, he ran away while the bathroom was steaming. The fire was not out, it had climbed the wall and started to burn the ceiling. His boss claimed its ""fairly common"" I was calling 911 at the time and luckily? the fire department came? to put out the fire. I had a fire extinguisher that I used? until the fire department arrived. Be careful if you decide to use this team.

I got impression the guy called-in just wanted the service contract signed but not really figuring out what had been going wrong. I had to get pipe layout inside the crawling space under my house by myself and pointed out why their diagnostics was wrong. They eventually followed my plan and replaced the rusted cast iron pipe I wanted them to do. The working team did a pretty good job under my house but I am not happy with the way they do business, they presume customers are dumb when they did their diagnotics. Be careful to use your common sense when you talk to them, their purpose is to sign up a task but not solve your problem.

Beware!!!! Unethical and unprofessional!!!! They took thousands of dollars for a band-aid fix that resurfaced months later and claimed it was not covered under the lifetime warranty of their original job. They will fear monger customers into forking out thousands of more dollars otherwise, previous ""life time warranty"" will be voided attempting to force customers to rehire them. Against their advice we went with a new plumber that showed me evidence that Rapid Plumbers did nothing to fix the original issue and used materials that were not up to code, so beware!!!

Used to really like this company and would call them for service anytime something was clogged up. Recently had a small kitchen leak and had them come out. They were 2 hours late of the time window that I was given. They found a small leak and said they needed to go get parts. They didn't come back. I decided to repair the small leak myself but was prepared to pay a fee for them coming out. Was charged $225! Was told since one of the workers crawled under my house the estimate was no longer free, or even reasonably priced. How do you get an estimate in some circumstances without looking under the house? What a ridiculous overcharge. They have lost a customer for good. They also lost out on a big plumbing job that we are looking at getting done next month. No permanent address, only a PO box. Shady as hell.

Rapid Plumbing just finished a large job and I am impressed with the work and service. The key was Christian. He explained the problems very clearly, was always on time, had everything professionally organized so the job was finished as quickly and efficiently as possible. Christian deserves 5 stars for himself, not only for work well done, but also for great customer service. Thanks also to Geo for all his hard work.
I will recommend Rapid Plumbing - ask for Christian!

Christian came to the rescue on Sunday morning when a pipe burst under my house
He finish the job fast and he recommended a repipe so we got that done
That was the best decision made ever
I will definitely recommend Rapid Plumbing and ask for
Christian when ever u need help

I wont use this company again and I wont recommend them to anyone. We recently had a plumbing problem and we had two different plumbers try to fix it. One company used a snake and the second used a hydro jet. We were told the problem was caused from previous work we had done. That work was done by Rapid Plumbing. Rapid Plumbing fixed a clogged sink, dug up the yard, and repaired a very small portion of the main line from the main house to the sewer, but they didn't reconnect the sewer pipe from the mother in-law house back to the main line. In Rapid Plumbing's defense, its been a few years since they did the work. We discovered the problem because we're fixing the mother in-law house up and the plumbers testing the new toilets and sinks found they weren't draining. We didn't think it was caused by the work Rapid Plumbing had done until a plumber used a camera to see what was causing the issue and that's when it was discovered the pipe wasn't reconnected. Unfortunately, the work they had done was about 5 feet below ground and we didn't check their work before it was covered up. We called Rapid Plumbing to see if they could fix it, but they're not acting very professional and wont do the work unless we pay them to do it again. It's easier for us to pay the plumber that discovered the problem and we trust to fix it. Personally, I don't trust Rapid Plumbing's work and I hope this post saves you a little time, money, and helps you avoid some frustration. Like the saying goes ""Let the buyer beware"". *Update: The plumber who discovered the problem called to see how everything was going and I asked him if a root could have caused the pipe to break and he said no. He would have saw a connection with his camera if the two pipes had been connected. Rapid Plumbing didn't connect the sewer line from the mother in-law house to the main sewer line when they did a spot repair on the pipe. Rapid Plumbing was supposed to call me today and they didn't. They don't want to take responsibility or investigate further because they'll lose money when they have to make the repair. *Second Update: It was confirmed today that Rapid Plumbing didn't connect the sewer line from the mother-in-law house to the main line after they made a spot repair. The original issue was a clogged kitchen sink. The other sinks and toilets worked. They stuck a camera down the drain and said there was a clog in the main line. They dug a 5 foot hole, made a spot repair, added a clean out and didn't glue or secured it with a band, didn't reconnect the sewer line from the mother in-law house, and covered up the clean out with dirt when filling up the hole.

The experience I had with this company does not reflect the one most of reviewers had. I can see that Rapid Plumbing has been ripping people off for many years in many different ways. I can't say if the service they provide is good or not, I can't say if they over charge their clients or if they do not do it, I can't say anything about them other that I wasted the morning waiting for a plumber who never showed. I wasted my valuable time but at least they weren't able to rip me off, so I guess I was luckier than everyone else who has used this company.

I just want to say that Rapid Plumbing is one of the best services I have encountered in quite a while.
They showed up on time and after checking the sewer pipes were able to explain everything they
were going to have to do. It was quite a large job, but they were able to do it in only 3 days.
When they were done, they left everything looking clean and neat. I highly recommend
them to anyone who has plumbing issues.

Rapid Plumbing came out to my home to repair a blocked toilet. They claimed the only way to discover the problem was to remove the toilet, which I understood. They brought out the invoice to write up and informed me it would cost $2,400 which I need to pay immediately. I did so. They continued their work, and decided they needed to excavate the floor up about 3x3 feet, after which they needed another $2000.00 to elongate the hole 6"". We paid them. Then they informed us that to repair the issue the entire cost would be $12,888, at which time I realized I was being scalped. I called in another Plumber to assess the situation to hear what he thought, and he looked at the mess, shook his head and apologized for people like this that are infiltrating the business. Rapid plumbing was categorically dismissed and a very reputable plumbing company of over 30 years is in the process of cleaning g up the huge mess, and repairing the toilet for $1,400 dollars. Compared to 13,000... go figure. It would initially have cost me $800.
Don't be as easily duped as I was, don't even consider Rapid Plumbing!
