I called Rapid Action Rooter to unclog my kitchen sink and they did an amazing job. Within 10 minutes they had snaked the drains and cleared out all the gunk that was blocking the flow of water. Afterwards I had a great chat with both of the plumbers about gardening and making wine. These guys are great plumbers and even better conversationalists. I highly recommend.

HONEST

Mandela of Rapid Action Rooter recommended Patrick Jones, a technician that works on boilers -- very different from one who works on a water heater. Mr Jones has over 40 years of experience, and is VERY VERY HONEST.

He came to service our boiler at 2:30am after he had a job in Victorville, 1.5 to 2 hours away. Previously, I had another boiler company come out and play a bait-and-switch scheme. The other guy either lied or was very inexperienced (ie 3 years vs a tenured 40 years) and said we had to replace the ""gas valve 1."" Also, I sent him a YouTube video on resets but really you and I can do if you remove the first top 2 covers.

Mr Jones coached me to ask him if he was getting 24V in and the guy lied straight in my face and left the gas off. Then his partner Brittni, sent over the estimate after he left so of course they would be charging a lot for the rush-hour traffic.

When Mr Jones arrived, he brought a new gas valve 1 just in case to test and replace, but this was not the problem and was confirmed by another Technician.

Mr Jones was correct in his assessment that the module had to be replaced and the igniter as well. Unfortunately, he called 3 places and couldn't pick up the part. He was very transparent to tell me that Howard Industries had the part. This brand, Laars Therm 2 is a difficult supplier and I would not recommend it. We have had this boiler inspected quarterly, which did not prevent this repair. The last time we had it inspected was March 8, 2021 and 3 months later, we had to replace 2 parts, the brains called the module (approximately $370 to $395) and the igniter (approximately $70). The last time our regular boiler technician came, they charged us $277 for a 12-minute repair and $250 for an inspection. Unfortunately, Laars parts have an issue with supply as two technicians had to call 3 different places for 2 parts. That's 6x folks, a real waste of time but probably the way these boiler companies stay in business.

I will definitely work with Rapid Action Rooter again, specifically with Mr Jones, an amazing technician, who is HONEST.

I really hope the new AI and ML technologies help these smaller vendors and Mr Jones out, like alerting us that it is time to change the igniter (ie need to change that every 18-months).

If your looking for a super reliable, professional, prompt, efficient and experience plumbers, this is the company you want! My water heater broke down and Rapid came and installed a new one immediately, and at an affordable price. The owner Mandel is extremely professional, respectful, and knowledgeable on all kind of plumbing issues and needs. After my water heater was installed I was extremely satisfied and impressed on how fast my water heater was installed! This is an awesome company! We purchased a property and sewer line inspection showed some issues. Sent the link of video inspection to Rapid Action Rooter and they said they would need to run their own video inspection in order to provide me an estimate of repair cost. The cost for video inspection is going to be $150 and would be credited to the repair if I chose to get repair done by them.

I have talked about 20 other competitors and no other company charges for inspection in order to provide an estimate for line repair. I hope the company aligns their norms with the industry.

Came home late to find out I had a leak under the house. I called Rapid Action Rooter in a panic and they were so nice and calmly walked me through the process of shutting of the main water line and bleeding out the pipes to prep for the plumber to come. Unfortunately, they could net send someone out until later the next day as they had a lot of calls that night and were so understanding when I was able to get my normal plumber to help me in the morning and cancelled with them.

I will call them again for sure during an emergency.
