Jim Beard/Beard Construction in Renton/Kent rrenovated our home in Burien under challenging circumstances (we have a 12 toddler in-home daycare and an 88 year old grandmother) and the outcome in the bathroom (which was a change from a bathtub to walk-in shower) was absolutely beautiful! Jim is a thoughtful, caring guy who has excellent experience and really knows his stuff! We received 3 bids and picked Jim because he was so knowledgeable, He knew exactly what needed to be done and did it. Considerate. hardworking, and reasonable on top of it! How could we ask for more! Jim not only helped us pick out tile, flooring, and counters at discount but went above and beyond and fixed the bathroom heater and plumbing in the kitchen in this this 1930s home. Because he did such a great job in the bathroom, we also had him redo the kitchen (granite and floor tile) and hall floor in a home that was anything but level and Jim and staff did an awesome job! Know that if you hire Jim, he will be on-sight, usually doing the work, or at the very least, overseeing it. He has vast experience in commercial and residential renovations. I rarely write reviews for contractors but this one is well earned!!! My sister in Mill Creek will be hiring him soon for her bathroom! Jim Beard is awesome! Doris
