I never write a review, but felt it was important so others would not find themselves in the same spot as I have, just now. Hired Randall Plumbing to come to my West Hollywood home on Tuesday March 7th to change out a shower valve in my guest room bathroom. My mother in law would be arriving on Friday March 10th and wanted to make sure everything was set for her. I had my painter open up the wall in the guest room so Randall the plumber would have easy access to the shower valve from the backside without damaging the shower tiles. All was set for Randall. But at the last moment, he texted me 1 hour before he was supposed to arrive saying he just became ill and would not be able to make it. I completely understood and asked if he could reschedule for Wednesday the following day. He told me he was seeing the doctor that day but could reschedule for Thursday. I told him no problem, and reconfirmed he would be here to do the work on Thursday. All the while not being able to use this guest room / den / TV room because of the exposed open wall and all the furniture and art that needed to be moved in order to accommodate Randal the plumber. So here it is Thursday March 9th, changed my schedule for the 2nd time, again to be here with my handyman in case Randall needed to have the wall opened up more or whatever extra help he might need. Just got 3 texts from him 1 minute after he was supposed to be here saying the following. ""On my way from Alhambra, heavy traffic. Please provide place to park"" then ""Just got off freeway in downtown. I have way too much to do today to spend another 1-1/2 hours in traffic. I'm sorry but you are going to have to find somebody else."" I immediately called him and he would not pick up his phone. I then texted him saying ""Please come as we are waiting for you. We will pay you extra for your drive time. You will have a parking spot outside the house, no problem. Please confirm you can still come. Thanks. Please let me know whether you can still come?"" I did not get a reply. NOTHING!!!! I don't know this plumber, have never seen his work. I chose him from his great reviews on Yelp. That is why I'm writing this review so maybe this won't happen to someone else. Thank you Randall for wasting my time. You are the most unprofessional and disrespectful plumber I've never and will never use! Beware people! I'm sure you don't want to be waiting 3 days for a plumber who promises and confirms 2 separate appointments, only to realize you waiting around for a ghost who will never come!

Randall is great. He's done two jobs for me over the last couple years (installed a tankless hot water heater and repaired a main stack leak later) and he did a fantastic job with both. Super easy to work with, very responsive and generally a great guy. He is the man for any plumbing I need from now on. Don't hesitate to call him. Finding trustworthy people to work on your home is tough - Randall has you covered for anything plumbing related. He was also very honest - didn't try to up sell for extra work but pointed out what should be paid attention to for the future. Really fantastic.

Our water heater broke on Christmas day and we contacted Randy because he has done some previous work for us. He came out the next morning, assessed the water heater situation and gave us multiple options that were fair in price. He was very knowledgeable and allowed us to make the most suitable choice without persuading us towards the more expensive options. He showed up on time and completed the work within his projected timeline. You don't come across plumbers with a work ethic like Randy very often. His work is amazing and I highly recommend hiring him for your plumbing needs.

Randall was very responsive to my request for his services and accommodated my requests to reschedule the appointment. He stayed in contact using email and texts. Showed up on time and took care of the issues very quickly. I then had him come back to do a larger job and he stood by his quote even though I'm sure it took him much longer to do than he anticipated. Randall comes to the job prepared and stocked with all of the parts needed to take care of the unforseen issues that can pop up on even the simplest of jobs. Give him a call, I'm sure he can fix it.

Randall is instantly one of my favorite plumbers. I called him on a Wednesday, to install a tankless water heater and he came over on Friday, he spent a couple of hours to find the best place to put it in( everyone else took 15 minutes and wanted to install in the same place as the existing water heater). It was a little tricky but he found the best place. Later, he managed to slot me in not two weeks after in July ( height of renovation season). The tankless was installed in about two days; heremoved the existing water heater, cleaned up and it passed inspection - no problem. It works beautifully. Randall was easy to work with, pretty adaptable and he actually likes his job unlike the rest of us ;) He takes a lot of pride in the job. Highly recommend him.

I've used Randall 2x and he's been professional, reliable, and always offers fair quotes. I also like that he offers multiple options in regards to any repairs, and is not afraid to emphasize the options that make the most common sense in terms of longevity and cost.

Randall is an honest hard working plumber. He shows up when he says. He tells you what the job calls for, how long it will take, what materials he will need, and how he will do it. His pricing is competitive with other plumbers, his estimates are right on, and he works hard to finish the job in the amount of time he said it would take. He is helpful and creative when it comes to thinking up solutions to your plumbing problems. I will definitely use him again and recommend him.
