We tried another company before Christmas and the guy that came out was wheezing so hard he could barely move. He stuck the snake in a little bit, and saw black stuff come out and said it was mud and we had to get all new lines for about $ 5,000 - 10,000. Based on what I saw of him, I had very little confidence.

Got Javier's name and number at Ram Rooter from my buddy down the street. as he has the exact same house as ours.

Our house is 53 years old and we had not had the pipes cleaned in 14 years - stupid on our part.

Javier came out and surveyed the house with respect to the drain pipes to see what was where. After surveying, he started at the back of the house with the snake and he said something was blocking it. He tried it about three times and then it started going in about 20-30 feet (remember the other guy couldn't even get it to go five feet!).

After about 75 feet he retracted the snake and WHAMO! There was a fitting from another snake stuck in the pipe that came out on the end of his snake!! This fitting was about the size of the pipe and we have no idea how long it had been in there.

After that, he had me fill the kitchen sink with water and then drain it. I told him it would not drain.

So now it was time to go to the roof to check the drain vents. He snaked down the drain vent near the kitchen. After about five minutes or so, we could here gurgling in the kitchen and next thing you know the sink completely drained.

He cleaned out the front main and showed me the roots blocking things.

His original charge for everything was going to be $ 150 based on the front and back lines, but he said it was going to be a little more because of the extra vent clean out. NOT A PROBLEM! GLADLY PAID IT! Just an extra $ 50.

He also said to make a follow up appointment and that he would come and do maintenance on the rest of the pipes in the house by cleaning through all the vents and that it would be about another $ 200 - $ 250. Again, I will gladly pay this and then do it once a year.

One other thing - Cash or cheque only.

Called them over the weekend they snaked out my kitchen drain. Said 30 day guarantee cost me $65 . Two days later same problem and started backing up other drains. They came back out and said it is a completely different problem.. This time he wanted $150 + $90 to remove toilet to snake thru there. Javier was nice but neither me or my husband could understand what he was saying cause his broken english and he did not honor his 30 day. I called the office and the lady who answers the phone is VERY rude saying listen lady after I gave her my name twice. Very unprofessional and neither one speaks english well. She said she was going to talk to the plumber and call me back. Never received a call nack.

So I called our usual plumber Arrow plumbing they came out and snaked our lines thru the shower and only cost me $85.

I called Ram Rooter because our toilets and showers were backed up due to the palm roots getting into the main drain. Marcos did a fantastic job clearing the drains. He was very professional and courteous. We had used Ram Rooter back in 2013 for our kitchen drain and they continue to provide great service. Thank you Marcos!

I highly recommend this company. I called at 8:20pm, received a call back from a repair person by 9:00pm, and by 9:40 Rolando showed up at my house that evening to unclog my kitchen/laundry plumbing. It was totally unexpected that a service person showed up the same day I placed the service call and after regular business hours without charging a high after hours service call fee. And didn't charge extra to do the clean out from the roof rather than the regular clean out. Rolando was professional, friendly, and did not smell, sorry Mike Diamond there are other plumbing companies out there that don't smell. Thank you so much for the great service, I will use you again in the future.

Rolando was very nice. The price was reasonable. He unclogged my kitchen in about 15 minutes max. He also suggested me to routinely clean the main line the using the bubble bag, which looks like a rubber hot dog, from Home Depot or Lowe's. He also gave me free advice on how to fix the slow drainage of one of my bathroom sinks.

I have used this company for years to clean out my main drain. I have tried other companies but these guys are the best bang for your buck. They are quick, efficient and DO NOT overcharge.

When Marcos shows up to clear my drains about twice a year, he always starts by going up on the roof and going straight down through my main. This way he gets the sinks, and the washer and dryer area on his way down to the main.

after he breaks up the initial clog, he doesn't just stop and pull it out (as some others have done) he continues down all the way about 150 feet to the main and then runs it through again to make sure everything is pushed out.

Unfortunately old pipes requires that I clean my drains about twice a year, but I always call Ram Rooter first because they get it done fast and I have never had a problem with the drains right after they have cleared it. I'm usually good for about another 6 months until lint and food get it clogged again.

I would highly recommend there services if you are local.
