I called Ram This morning, and the technician by the name of Mike called me back within a few minutes. Mike came out to our house and got up in the attic and figured out what it was that was wrong with our heater. He also changed the filter and fixed the problem! I have a 75 gallon water heater and experienced a leak in the water heater closet which left water standing in the garage. My husband was at work but thought it was probably just the nut on the flex line however I couldn't tighten it and didn't want to force it and cause a flood of 75 gallons. I contacted RAM Plumbing and discussed my predicament with Shari in the office. She had Uno, one of their managers, come by and perform a cursory inspection. He promptly showed up because he too didn't want a potential flood. He confirmed it was just the nut that needed tightening and did it for me. Upon my inquiry, he provided me with an estimate of what it would cost to replace the water heater (eventually a necessity). He was proactive and also took various measurements to keep on file to assist when that time comes. Everyone I spoke to was very kind, helpful and professional. RAM Plumbing Heating and Air Conditioning is DEFINITELY the company to call when you have a service need.

My AC stopped working in the middle of a heat wave. I was nervous that I had to replace the whole unit. I spoke with Micheal who was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. He came over to make the repair and taught me how I can maintain my AC unit so that it can last longer. I would have never expected any contractor to give such great advise. Wow-- I'm so glad I called these guys!!

We recently moved here and purchased our house from 1500 miles away, so among the many little surprises we've discovered after being here a few weeks is that even though the sellers of our house had an HVAC specialist come out and ""repair"" the problems found during our home inspection with our realtor, our AC unit still wasn't working properly when we closed the sale, *wasn't* being the key word here...

Fortunately, 6 years of living in Texas prepared me for the warmer August IE temps and it cools down here at night, so I didn't consider it an emergency. My husband had checked out all of the parts and systems in his repertoire and exhausted his knowledge on AC units and wasn't real keen on letting it go any further, so I had to bite the bullet and find someone. I knew I didn't want to do business with the service provider that hadn't actually fix the problem, so I did what all good Yelpers do and went online to determine RAM had all of the skills and positive reviews I was looking for.

I made my appointment on the Friday before Labor Day when temps were well over 100 (you know, when everyone has AC breakdowns), so I was pleasantly surprised they could come by first thing Tuesday morning. There was a snag in their appointment system and the tech wasn't able to arrive until an afternoon slot, but it worked out fine.

Our technician, Michael, asked me a few questions and thoroughly went through all of the different components that could cause the problem, as well as replicate the issue. He determined that the unit had been sorely neglected and may be on its way out relatively soon, but planned on helping us extend its life as long as possible. He gave me tips for proper care and maintenance, as well as schedules for basic DIY maintenance, and even demonstrated how to correctly clean the unit.

He answered all of my questions and went way above and beyond with suggestions for improving airflow through our registers and good products to consider as we maintain and replace different items, so I will definitely be calling RAM back if I have any plumbing or HVAC issues in the future and would recommend the same for anyone else looking for those services.

Called a couple weeks ago during an emergency around 8 at night. My air conditioner was leaking water and it was flooding underneath our wooden laminate and coming out through the cracks. This was the second place I called and they called back before the first. It was less than 10 minutes to get a response and await a call from the emergency technician who ended up telling me he was on his way and would be here in approximately 15 minutes. Immediately diagnosed the problem, along with doing all of his research in the dark outside. He returned the next day with everything I needed for my repair and was it done in under 2 hours. Keeping us from being without our air conditioner at 100 degrees out. Awesome. I will call back again. My tech was Mike.
