We used to exclusively recommend Ralph Mann & Sons for any HVAC or oil/heating needs, but we recently had an issue after 25 loyal years of service with them. They were just not able to handle a more complex issue which we feel was due to their mismanagement of installing a new oil tank. After the tank was installed, and we proactively managed all other potential issues, we began to need multiple service calls. During each visit, they put bandaids on our problem rather than taking the time to diagnose the root cause. It turned out that we had algae colonies in the brand new oil tank and oil, which we believe were due to reusing the oil from the old tank. Instead of connecting the dots from the many service calls, they continued to apply bandaids.
We also started to notice miscommunication within the company where a technician would state one thing and write it on the ticket, but the office would say something different. My husband took a lot of time and care to try to work with the owner, but he dismissed us, so unfortunately we had to go elsewhere.

I would not recommend Ralph Mann for service, I was told that service was top of mind with this company that they really care about their customers after product was sold but I have found that is not true in my case.
There were product defects with the brand new Lochinvar that was installed, Ralph Mann fixed them, sometimes they tried to charge me and it wasn't until I contacted Lochinvar that the product was under warranty and they would reimburse Mann for the cost, they should have known that to begin with. So I was hyper sensitive about maintaining a yearly service. I've had to beg to schedule service never did Wendys team email, call or send something in the mail as a reminder that my service was coming up, I had to be the one calling and asking to schedule something. Last year I forgot to ask for the service contract in writing because I was taking care of my hospice mom, so I got the invoice that was so outrages that when I called Wendy to ask about it she told she I should have asked for the cost beforehand.

I highly recommend Ralph Mann & Sons. We recently had a top of the line geothermal system installed and we could not be happier! Craig and Wendy thoroughly answered any and all questions that we had throughout the entire process. Our system was perfectly designed and is whisper quiet. It has no trouble keeping the temperature stable during colder days without the need for aux heat.

I also want to give Tony and his team a shoutout as well. Tony was incredible and walked me through the entire system; tweaking a few items here and there for maximum comfort. He is a real asset to the company.

Ralph Mann & Sons is by far one of the most professional and efficient service companies I have ever dealt with. After my 23 year old condenser finally kicked the bucket, they were on site the next day to assess the situation.

When replacement day came, Kevin and Matt arrived right on schedule. Not bad, especially when it was a 30 minute window to begin with! They got right to work, and before I knew it the old condenser and evaporator was already in the back of the van. When a metal piece needed replacing they were able to leave, machine a new part, and return in about 25 minutes. I honestly couldn't believe it.

I was initially told this would be an all day affair. But just four hours later, the new parts were installed and running beautifully. Kevin and Matt answered any questions I had during the process, and were very respectful of my home throughout the entire install.

While larger companies may have more advertising, I highly recommend Mann & Sons for anyone in the area looking for a hassle free repair or replacement job!
