The Raleigh Plumbing Department helped us get ready to sell our house when we were moving from Raleigh to VA! We had a various plumbing issues... lots of water pressure problems. They came by addressed everything in a quick and professional manner! 6/6 for sure!

This company is a joke when it comes to new construction i don't think they are capable of new construction or possibly just in over their heads? they attempted to do plumb my house and was a complete disaster from day one! When it took them 3.5 weeks to get the slab plumbed after failing the inspection multiple times and finally ripping it out and restarting with the correct pipe for a slab still missed the measurements by 4''-6'' which in turn created multiple problems after the concrete was poured. There is so many issues with the actual work as well as the 2 people that were on the job no clue who they are? owners? employees? but did not seem to care either way. Major issue was a leak in a toilet drain under the slab that showed up on the drain test with water leaching into the concrete and in stead of fixing correctly they attempted a quick fix breaking up concrete and using tons of glue and caulk to nurse it pasted the inspection which in no way was a fix at all and proved not to work after the test was reapplied so i guess they did what any plumber that was just out to make a dollar and not care about how terrible the damage would have been down the road would do!!! isolate that section of pipe out!!!!! luckily Apex inspectors had dealt with sneaky people before and called them out on it!!! thank god because if that would have slowly leaked toilet water under the slab for 2-5-9-12years before it was found it would have been massive damage and they would be long gone!!!! But after that little episode they quit coming to work and left it to a true pluming company to step in and clean up their garbage after basically costing us 6-8 weeks min of wasted time on the house construction time and they were finding lines hooked to nothing?? hot and cold lines backwards , missing insulation on lines vent pipes in walls unterminated drain traps protruding from the walls that would make giant bows in the sheetrock, i have pictures for the licensing board to look at! I in no way would want to ruin someone's business but people like these are not just victim's of someone being unpleasable and A-holes to them!! they are truly going to ruin someone's house that they worked very hard for and don't seem to really care so if you see a pickup truck pull up with some random pipe on top and plumbing parts stuffed in the back and they slap up a RPD sign in your yard run!!!!!!!! i could write 20 more pages on just how terrible the work was just unbelievable!!!! They might be very good at a water heater swap out or something but in no way do they belong on large jobs!!!!

My fiancé and I had been wanting to remodel our master bathroom since early last year. We hired 2 other plumbing contractors -before RPD- and were very devastated by their apparent lack of experience and professionalism. They left cigarette butts and trash all over and actually installed a toilet handle that didn't even work. When we spoke to Mike from Raleigh Plumbing Department he made us a priority and took over the renovations. Mike and his team at Raleigh Plumbing Department made sure everything was exactly how we wanted it and they even finished ahead of schedule. Our free standing marble tub and shower came out BEAUTIFULLY. I 100% recommend RPD for any of your plumbing needs.
