Started in the early 1980s by our founder Terry Bonik, who was later joined by current vice-president Rachel Faust, RainSoft of NE Iowa is an certified RainSoft dealer ready to solve almost any water or air quality issue in your residence. For instance, if you are experiencing the challenges of hard water problems, such as dry skin, scale accumulation, and dishes that are not clean, our EC5 water conditioners can offer a steady supply of soft, refreshing water throughout your house, and are built to ensure a lifetime of dependable service with a Lifetime Warranty!

We also offer the Ultrefiner II, a cutting-edge RO system that produces up to 50 gallons of crisp, bottle-quality water each day right from your tap. Similar to the EC5 water conditioner, the Ultrefiner II is also covered by RainSoft's industry-leading warranty!

Our founder Terry Bonik was first encountered RainSoft in St. Cloud, MN in the year 1977. He purchased his initial RainSoft system for his house. Six months after that, Terry began working at a RainSoft dealership in St. Cloud. He later relocated to Oelwein, Iowa and secured a role at a RainSoft dealership in Cedar Rapids, Iowa as a sales manager. The same year, Terry established RainSoft of Oelwein, Inc in Oelwein, IA. Come 2006, RainSoft of Oelwein increased and built a state-of-the-art 6,120 square foot building in Waterloo, IA. With this new location allowed RainSoft of Oelwein, Inc to rebrand RainSoft of NE Iowa. The family legacy carried on as Terry welcomed Rachel Faust as the new vice president of RainSoft of NE Iowa. Come 2016, RainSoft of NE Iowa broadened its reach, now covering Jackson, Clinton, Scott, and Muscatine counties.

Rachel joined the family business in the year 2006 and has been one of the owners since then. With a childhood steeped in RainSoft, she has been part of the brand since her early years. She was fortunate to have superior water at home and was astonished by the difference in water when she started college! She enrolled at UNI with plans to earn a degree in teaching, but discovered entrepreneurship instead. After college, she held a few different jobs before choosing to return to the family business!

At present, she carries on the RainSoft of NE Iowa tradition, offering high-quality products with a lifetime guarantee along with superior service! RainSoft of NE Iowa is a local company that values its clients and staff, treating them like family.

Rachel has been happily married since 2008 and has two children, a son named Brayden and a girl Emma. Interestingly, her son Brayden is now employed at RainSoft of NE Iowa on a part-time basis helping out in our facility.
