Not a very ethical business in my opinion. I needed standard under sink disposal replaced at my home. Called Rainaldi to ask for an estimate. Woman on phone would not give me a price for the job, told me $39 to come check it out and the $39 credited to job price. Tech Nick (nice guy) quickly gives me price options. It's $475 to replace with same Badger 5 unit I currently have. Having checked prices on-line, I know I can buy that Badger 5 for $100 at Home Depot. So, it's $375 in labor for maybe a 45 minute job. I decline service and pay the $39. I call another known plumbing service. They give me a firm price of $295 to replace and install Badger 5 disposal. Almost $200 less!!! That's real money. I don't appreciate the baiting a customer by not giving a price over the phone. Would have never wasted my $39 if they told me job was almost $500.

Could not appropriately handle scheduling a home visit for an estimate. Rescheduled once when the wrong phone number was used to announce the ETA. Rescheduled to one of my days off. Called to check when it got late. Was told 1) that I had been called that morning, which was not true; and 2) that they were short-handed and only making emergency calls that day. Might have been okay but for the lie that I had been called. My phone showed no missed calls and no voicemail was left. I wasted precious off time for nothing.

We had our kitchen countertops replaced so all we needed was a reconnect of the faucet, dishwasher, and disposal. I called and made an afternoon appointment 2 weeks in advance. When no one was there by 4:30 on the day of the appointment I called. I was assured by Therese, that they finish all calls for each day, and he would be there soon. She said she would call dispatch and call me back. She never did. When I called back they were closed, so I talked to Alvin, the night dispatcher who said I wasn't on the schedule. Jose called me back and promised someone would call at 8am the next day to confirm that a tech would be here at 9am. Alvin called back and told me the same thing. The next day, no phone call at 8, no tech at 9. I called and they said he's on his way. Luis showed up at 10:30 and proceeded to try to sell us a new faucet, ours was a year old and a new disposal, ours was 2 years old. When we asked why, he said because they're used so he can't guarantee them. He also told us we need a sewer flusher for our drain line and they could have someone come out. My husband took a flashlight and looked in there and said it was minimal. Luis then said some Draino would do the trick. Luis then told us it would be $1200 to reconnect our plumbing. They are a flat rate company so it's a set price. We asked for a breakdown, but because it's a flat rate there is no breakdown. We were desperate to have our kitchen back at this point so we paid. This place tries to sell you things you don't need, and their flat rate system is a license to steal!! DO NOT CALL THEM!!

Extremely up set with Rainaldi. I called and made an appointment to have a kitchen faucet installed. Appointment was for today at 2pm or thereafter arrival. Instead, at 2:30 I receive a call about how busy they are and could I change the appt to the next day. Remember, I have been waiting all day for them to come and had everything out from the cabinet underneath the sink. Then at 2:30pm, after the appt time they are too busy. They knew they were too busy when they scheduled my appt initially, but they did not want to lose the business and scheduled me, knowing they would cancel and it would be too late for me to reschedule with another company. This happened with me once before and I forgot about it, but as soon as I heard her spiel about too busy and to reschedule, I remembered. I immediately refused and called another plumbing company and they have someone on the way as I am typing. Rainaldi, do not keep me on your customer list or send any coupons to my address.

Rainaldi's website states they pride themselves on service however when I made an appointment with the dispatchers, a plumber never came to my home. Since it wasn't a terrible emergency I phoned them later that day and again the next day. All I received with each call was """"We are so sorry, this does not represent our service standards."""" 3 days went by and so I gave my business and money to another company with higher standards of service. I called Rainaldi's back to speak with a manager to share my experience in the hopes someone else wouldn't suffer the same treatment I had and to my surprise the managers do not even call you back! Atrocious service. I would not recommend this company to family or friends.

My complaint is probably not with the workmanship...only time will tell on that...my complaint is as landlord living in a different state trying to make sure my tenants have hot water on a cold day, I feel like I got screwed on pricing. Their 'Set Fees' policy means I had to choose between $270 to perform a good diagnosis and fix the likely problem, but if the problem ended up needing the new water heater, I had to pay the $270 plus the $1,250 installation price (and they would not break up the invoice into labor and parts so I could tell how good a water heater I was getting). Seems like a scam to make me pay $1,250 for a $700 water heater (found on google afterwards) that took 2 hours to install. $550 labor for 2 hours. Basically, I had to make sure my tenants had hot water and paid these yahoos way too much for a new water heater.

I have been happy with their professional office support and technicians. They are quick to follow up on any issues that come up. I have taken advantage of their Maintenance Contract in previous years and will continue to do so.

Terrible experience. Called them to fix the A/C as an emergency service. The tech cane out and allegedly fixed it. They charged around $700 for the emergency service and left. After 15 min and realizing the air was still not cooling, I called them back but the tech told me I would have to wait until he finished with the next customer before he could return to our house. Extremely unprofessional and they lack the knowledge and skill to do their job.

First time using them. I had a great experience. Cole was very professional and explained the issue clearly so I could make an educated decision. I called around noon and by 2 pm they Cole had already arrived. He went the extra mile to fix the problem. Highly recommended. Will use them In the future.

I'm a Realtor and I often need to hire a variety of different service contractors for different things on behalf of a buyer or seller. In this case I needed to have the polybutylene plumbing system inspected on behalf of my buyer's insurance company. Rainaldi was recommended to me by another agent, so I called them yesterday and they set an appointment for this morning with the tech instructed to call me with 30 minutes advance notice. So, I'm on standby all morning and no call. No big deal, right. They're probably busy and running a bit behind schedule. Very common in the service industry. I wait until 1:30 and call the office to make sure everything is ok and that I'm still on the schedule for today. They verify that yes, I'm still on the schedule for this afternoon, but there's no way to give me a time. No worries. I understand that this is normal, so I sit by the phone all afternoon waiting for the tech to call. Well, 4:45pm comes rolling around and still no call. I call the office again and they say the tech called me at 4:30 and there was no answer, so they sent him to another call and I'll be next. What!!!! I've received calls all day with no problem whatsoever, but I somehow missed the one call I've been waiting on all day?!?!?! I checked my phone and there was no missed call. I repeat, no missed call. Anyway, still not a big deal since the tech is still coming, so I verified they had my number down correctly and continued to wait on standby. About 5:15 the tech calls and informs me that if he comes out now it will be considered an after hours service call and I will be charged overtime rates that's almost double what I was originally quoted. Seriously?!?!?! They are the ones who scheduled the call for this morning and after making me wait an entire day, they try to screw me over and charge me overtime rates because they couldn't make it before 5:00?!?!?! I am completely stunned that this company would behave in such a incompetent, unprofessional and unethical manner without even batting an eye, especially to a Realtor who has the potential to bring them thousands of dollars in future business and referrals. I suppose I should consider myself lucky because if this how they treat their customers, I'm scared to think what might have happened had they actually performed any service work at my clients house.
