Called Rainaldi to fix a home air conditioning system that was not cooling. The technician was pleasant and competent. He isolated the problem to a dual starting capacitor in the outdoor unit. When it was replaced, the system worked flawlessly. Only problem is that I was charged $292.71 for the capacitor. Looked it up on Amazon and it was $14.00! That's a 2000 percent markup! I see that as no more than pure, unbridled greed on the part of Rainalodi. Unfortunately, I believe that most similar companies collude on their markups and this is probably typical! Will not call Rainaldi for A/C repair again.

Outrageous pricing. I paid $39 for them to come out to replace a shut off valve and toilet fill valve. They told me the service would cost more than $1,000. I am extremely frustrated at having paid them $39 for absolutely nothing.

I needed a simple repair, and I needed it in a hurry, so I could not do it myself. Rainaldi sent out a technician the day after I called and communicated well with me during that process. The technician (Joshua) was professional and personable. I enjoyed speaking with him. The service was performed quickly. Yes, it was expensive, but it was no more expensive than other licensed and insured plumbers I have used. Could I have done the work myself? Yes, if I had had the time, which I did not. I've seen a lot of negative reviews about Rainaldi based on price alone. That is not a fair basis for a one star review. Rainaldi does not coerce customers to buy its services. If we choose to pay for the service, we do so knowing what the cost will be. Professional services of any kind are expensive. I'll call Rainaldi again if I need help in a pinch.

Do not call Rainaldi Home Service for service unless you just want to pay extremely ridiculous prices for services. I called for service because my toilet needed a new flapper/thingy. :-) Their first question to me was """"How old are your pipes?"""" I asked why are you asking about my pipes. My issue is with my toilet. She said, ,""""Ok, but they tell us to ask about the pipes"""". I said I don't know how old my pipes are, even though I do know. We then got back to discussing the toilet issue and since they were coming, I thought I'd have them switch out a couple of shower heads that I had already purchased and tighten a screw on my recently installed new garbage disposal. They quoted me over $712! I told the tech no, my brother can do it, I just didn't want to bother him. But for $700, he was getting bothered. I paid the $39 service call fee and later called the office and asked why the quote was so high and asked if this was their normal pricing structure and was told that it was. I told them it was a Rip Off and I was going to share this experience with everyone I could. The person on the phone at Rainaldi said, """" It's okay, that's not going to bother us"""". Please help me share this. I really want to bother them. As a female homeowner, I'm tired of these companies trying to rip us off!

Very pleased with Rainaldi Home Services, specifically residential air conditioning. Replaced one ac unit in our home (late 2022). Contracted to install new second unit (Spring 2024). Reliable (kept appt time). Professional in appearance. Knowledgeable. Clearly explained diagnosis as well as options. Thank you, Shannon and Gavin.

Recently we had a severe plumbing backup in our new home. We contacted Rainaldi as we had used them before and were happy with our prior experience. They immediately understood our need and dispatched two wonderful men who came, checked our outside pipe and tried to clear it out. The drain started working again but they advised us that their camera showed a broken pipe that needed to be replaced. We saw the photos and agreed. They told us that they would bring a crew in three days and told us that if the clog happened again before then, that they would be available 24 hours a day to come and open it. Wow, who does that. Anyway, we had no further problem and they came and replaced the pipe. The broken pipe, filled with tree roots, definitely told us that it was a good decision to replace it. Four men worked for 1 - 1/2 hours to remove the old pipe and replace it with a new one. It was amazing to watch them and the care they exhibited when working on our property. The price they quoted for the work was reasonable and we felt it was a great value. We highly recommend Rainaldi for any plumbing problems.

They were to come out same day I called which is a big plus. Coming to the house is a base cost of $39 dollars. However, the cost of having the new garbage disposal installed was pretty high in my opinion- over $300. Maybe shop around next time. Service technician was professional and knew what he was doing.

DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY. Rainaldi installed two completely new HVAC systems in September of 2019. In the four years since, they have been at the house 34 times on service calls (NO THIS IS NOT A MISPRINT - 34). I have had every problem there is - capacitors, thermostat issues, units icing over causing water leaks from the ceiling, freon problems, etc. As the most recent Service Manager supposedly contacted the manufacturer and the Rainaldi owner himself to 'see what he can do', the systems failed yet again several weeks ago. Now the company will not return my phone calls. I am an elderly veteran on a fixed income and this was a big expense for me. But they have my money and it's clear they don't care about making anything right. Do not go through what I am still going through, waiting for the systems to break down for the 35th time. DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY.

Do NOT hire this company. I called on a Monday to schedule an appointment for the following Wednesday, and explained the whole history of the complex HVAC issue in my house and the terrible luck and results I'd had with previous HVAC companies. They asked me what time I preferred and I said morning, so that's what they put me down for. I waited all day at my house (where I can't even live because of the issue) and they never showed up. I called in the afternoon and they said it'd be another hour but that technician would call first. After two hours I called back and by this time it was the after hours answering service who treated it like a new service request. And to add insult to injury, THAT technician never showed up or called either.
