Bradley performed the service call on my renewed contract today. He took the time to go over the steps and make suggests - NOT hard sells. Informed me of all the other services that Ragsdale provides that I wasn't aware were available. Good to know when looking for honest work with no surprises. He even reeled the garden hose and made sure the gate was closed before leaving. Couldn't ask for more!

Called Ragsdale our because of pipes backing up in the bathroom. They charged us a crazy $530 to snake the pipe outside under our house. It was about an hours worth of work. The technician ever entered our home. The bathroom keeps backing up even after the service. Told us there's nothing they can do and offer no refund no nothing. We will be charged again if they come out here. They told us we have to go someplace else to get the pipes cleaned with the machine that they don't have. It would have been nice if they Checked the problem before taking our money for what was only a very temporary fix. They call themselves plumbers but I guess they don't do plumbing. Now we have to come up with more money because they took our money to basically do nothing. We will never use this company again. If they were so confident in their work they would offer some kind of warranty or a satisfaction guarantee. We are not rich people. We are on a budget and this is really hitting us at a bad time. Thanks for nothing Ragsdale. You have lost a customer.

Almost one year ago, I wrote a 5 star review for Ragsdale Heating and Air. Read below and now read my updated revew. My point is, unfortunately this is not the company I thought they were. It's the type of company who has excellant customer service WHILE you are spending $3,700 with them, but it does not go beyond there. Here's the series of events that have taken place with the HVAC I had installed with Ragsdale 1 year ago: 8/1/15: AC unit went out (less than one year old). They came to fix. I thought it was abnormal for it to already have an issue since a) it's brand new b) I have changed filter every 3 months and c) I have had the maintenance checks. But OK, I'll throw you a bone. 8/23/15: AC unit went out (still less than one year old). They came to fix. This time I requested with the lady who answers the phone to please have a supervisor call me. No call from the supervisor. After they fixed it, I receive a survey over email. I filled it out, expressing I was not happy with the AC unit and I requested a supervisor to call me, they never did, so I then re-requested in the survey for a supervisor to call me, and they never did. 9/8/15: AC unit went out. Just at one year old at this point. I call to have them fix it and this time I speak with a supervisor. I was told they would go out, fix it, check the unit out and send me documenation, as well as call before they arrive. The fan had gone out and needed to be replaced (one year old???), I have not received documentation (2 days later now) and they did not call before they showed up. It did not seem to alarm them that the unit has gone out 3 times in one year. That is my POST installation experience with ragsdale. So unfortunate because, as you can see below, I really thought highly of this company. If it were my business, I would make sure each and every [reasonable] customer had an excellant experience for as long as they had the unit MY company installed in their home. I would provide reassurance to my customer that the unit MY company installed going out 3 times is very concerning and we would do whatever it took to resolve this because this is not representation of my company and the equipment we install for our customers. Unfortunately I didn't get that any of the three times I've had to call in. Review in October 2014: I had an EXCELLANT experience with Ragsdale from start to finish. I purchased a house that needed a new HVAC system. First of all, the lady that answeres the phone is super nice and got me a scheduled appointment very quickly. I had someone from Ragsdale come out and take a look and he told me all of my options but gave me a recomendation to replace it because it would be more expensive to fix. So I took his advise and ordered a new one. Chris Haralson was the salesman for the new unit and he was really nice and professional. The two guys that came to my house to install it were FANTASTIC..I think their names were Roger and Chris but I cant remember for sure, wish I did because they were great. It was SO hot that day but they were troopers and did the job in about 4 hours. Then they showed me the new unit, took me to the attic to show me everything they did and then walked me through how to use the thermostat. Then they took me through the warranties. The following week Chris Haralson called me to ask how my service was on the day that the 2 guys came to install the unit. Very impressive!! This company really made me feel like a valuable customer as opposed to most companies these days that act like you're just a number and dont care if they have your business or not, and certainly dont care enough to call you a week later to check service. Overall I was blown away at how sharp every single individual was that I came accross with this company. The service and professional behavior of all parties really put me at ease, which isnt easy to do when the customer is spending thousands of dollars. Kudos to the owners of the company, you clearly practice good business and have high standards for all employees. Keep up the great work!!

Ragsdale technician came to my house checked my ac unit and said that my unit needed to be replaced. He spent at most 10 minutes checking the unit. As I always do before spending big money on such repairs, I called another company to check my ac unit and give me a price for a new unit if needed. He immediately asked why the Ragsdale technician did not fix the problem as there was a very easy fix. In about 10 minutes he replaced a definite purpose contactor ( wires attach to it) and the unit works fine. Seems that I was about to be ripped off for an unneeded new, very expensive air conditioning replacement. BE CAREFUL! GET A SECOND OPINION BEFORE USING this company.

Service from Ragsdale is always superb. We have been a long time customer. Would recommend them to anyone and do frequently.

The most expensive repair I've ever paid. If my husband weren't sick that day, we wouldn't have to pay through the nose. I recommend that you do business with anyone else!!!

Our heater went out and I called Ragsdale, they were able to get someone out the next day. Mark Selby came out 2 hours before our scheduled appointment time, which was awesome! He explained to us what was wrong with our heater in a way that we understood it. He fixed the problem right away and told us what we could do to prevent it again. Very nice man! Reasonable prices also.

Just had our entire system redone, ductwork included. They were the best people from start to finish, like family. Friendly, respectful, knowledgeable and reasonable pricing. If you need any work done, you want to use this company. They are amazing !!! If I could give 10 stars I would.

We were very happy with Ragsdale....garbage disposal, kitchen faucet, New heating and air. But we just had bad experience. Bathroom commode tank kept releasing water. Not much but annoying. Technician came and adjusted flapper, and charged for service charge only. Good huh. However it kept running. He came back, replaced the flapper (which would cost maybe $10 at Lowe's) and we paid $149. Not happy. So a $10 flapper cost $198.00. What a deal No more plumbing for us from Ragsdale.

Awful!!! Scammers!! Absolutely do not use this company. My toddler threw some toy down the toilet. These guys quoted me $497 dollars to fish it out/push it through. When I pushed back they dropped to $300 as a """"courtesy"""" They charge $89 just to come out. Found some local guy to do the same shit for $125.
