Went into the garage on a Friday morning and noticed water at the doorway and noticed my water heater started to leak. As usual I pulled up all the information I could find on the net about the best plumbers in my area. I decided to go with Radiant Plumbing & Air Conditioning...gave them a call set up a same day appointment for an appraisal. They informed me that they will send someone out. I received a text with the picture of the technician and his name, Anthony Pitcher. Anthony was courteous and very professional. He started with a good look at the old water heater(26 years old) and then approached me so he could inform me of what needs to be done. Anthony asked if he could go to his truck to gather the information on four different estimates. I chose the estimate that suited my need and he had everything he needed and started immediately. When he finished it was fantastic! He mentioned that I would get a call from the office so that I could get a number for the code inspector that needed to come out later. All in all the water heater passed and I am totally satisfied with Anthony's work and the price ($2908.70)

About a week and a half ago my downstairs heater went out when it was super cold. I tried to fix them on my own, but I burned out the upstairs heater. I called around and got some quotes to fix both around $8700 for the downstairs unit and $1200 for the upstairs. Radiant came out and let me know it was just a fuse for the upstairs and fix it for free. They came and did a bunch of free test and Woody from sales gave me the best deal. I couldn't pass it up. We installed the next day for a price way under budget. When I first called they said they pride themselves on five star treatment. Well I got six stars. Thank you radiant!

Very disappointed with the cost to replace $5.00 parts was $600.00 and took only an hour to replace.

If you don't like money, use these guys. They quoted $3,500 for a water heater and installation. Two other reputable companies quoted $2,100. Still expensive considering the water heater cost $500 or less at homedepot. They also tried to say that they would throw in expansion tank listed at $300. Well looking through there quote the expansion tank is already included and the expansion tank itself cost $30!!! Sooo disappointing there are companies like this that try to take advantage of people who just agree to these insane prices because they don't know better.

This isn't the only company in Austin who I have seen doing this (on the auto repair side) so just make sure to get at least 3 quotes or do research.

Excellent service started with the free home inspection by Zach V. who put me in touch with Cory S. who provided exceptional service with his duct testing systems and then to the guys who did the work. thanks to Tim and Calvin for a thorough job with the computer assisted duct sealant and to the hardest workers of the bunch, thanks to Arturo and Rene for all the duct work and insulation fill in the tiny attic crawl spaces. The only area for improvement is I asked over the phone more than once if they did attic blow in insulation and I was told no twice. Cory was the person who finally let me know they did do that. Anyway - all in all exceptional work and everyone on the team did a great job. Happy I chose Radiant for the job. Thanks again guys.

First of all it's my fault I did not ask for a price upfront - but I knew the repair kit was like $79. We needed minor (washer, stem and seat replacement) work in our shower. Two trips to the supply house, 1/2 a day and $460 later they were replaced. VERY OVERPRICED... I asked for a quote for the other bathroom and it was 3-4 times more than it should have been. I will never call Radiant again
I called another plumber and it was repaired for 175.00 not 3000 like I was quoted.

Andrew was simply amazing, especially considering the juggling act I put him through. First off, the toilet I'd already bought turned out to be less than ideal for the space it was going in. So Andrew kindly walked me through all my options, explaining the pros & cons of all. When I decided to purchase a new on one the spot he took extra time to help me sort through the massive online selection (and kept me calm when the Toto website had me quickly overwhelmed).

Since the company I'd bought the wrong toilet from couldn't switch it out same day, Andrew managed to score the exact toilet I wanted within the hour! He even repackaged the return for me, so I didn't have to mess with its complicated box design. None of the extra work involved was his fault but he remained pleasant, patient, and helpful the whole time. After he got my new toilet in he cleaned up so well you'd never know he'd been there at all!

Overall, Radiant was super easy to reach and book an appt with (I'd called other plumbers and gotten voicemail and delayed call-backs every time), very professional, and uncommonly accommodating. And Andrew was simply stellar, going above and beyond in a way that's just rare these days.

I was having some super pesky plumbing issues going on so naturally I called a plumbing service. I saw that these guys were local and wanted to support a local business and man, I'm glad I did! Quick and easy appointment set up and timely arrival. Brandon Helinski and Chris U. that I spoke to and met were both super friendly/funny while professional and took care of the issues with what seemed like relative ease. And best part of all, life without faulty plumbing. Score.

Very prompt, courteous service. The technician resolved my issue and had good advice. Now for the negative stuff: 1) I feel they charge way too much for their services. I probably should have read the critical reviews on that before calling, because now I'm kicking myself for paying over $500 for drain snaking. 2) I spent about an hour cleaning up after the technician after they left. Drips on the floor and gunk in the showers and sink... If I were to do it again, I would probably opt to go with a cheaper company. Also, I didn't notice that they had an active Yelp coupon, so I didn't end up getting that discount either.

I've used radiant for years. Always on time, professional, smart and reliable. My dog and I appreciate all they do for Austin Pets Alive! I also never feel like I'm being taken advantage of, they give quotes and options for all services. Today Andrew fixed a bunch of stuff in our new old house. 5 star service as always.
