It would be impossible to speak too highly about James Farr. He came out to install a pair of faucets, but the job itself was much more complicated than it sounds. There were issues galore (from rusting parts on one of the old faucets to warped connectors on one of the faucets being installed). James never got discouraged and, after pulling out every trick in the book, managed to get both faucets installed and working perfectly. Great plumber, great person, and a great company. Thanks Radiant!

Showed up fast, but gouged me on replacing a garbage disposal.
The unit they replaced costs $114 at Lowe's; they charged me $596 to replace and install it, meaning that they charged $482 to do what took less than an hour.
I won't use them ever again. Bad business.

My heat went out. I knew it was my circuit board found one on Amazon for $139. Was going to get down in the low 20 that night so I called Radiant to come replace. They wanted 750 dollars to replace. So basically they were going to charge 660 dollars for labor to unplug a board and plug a new one in. What A rip off! The guy Joe didn't do much to my heat just to me sounded like he wanted me to by a new unit. Also unit would not come on at all after he left but was running at 50% before he came. Just my opinion but would not do business with this company. Good luck to you maybe they will work out for you but do research before you commit to anything. They will lie about there professional experience but don't be fooled they are a scam. Stay away at all cost. I will never deal with crooks like these people just fair warning and my opinion!!!!

Overpriced...charged $353 to replace wax ring on 1 toilet. Straightforward easy job. National average for this is $225. Would never use again.

It turns out I had a clogged pipe in my bathroom, but no clean out built in by home builder for cleanings to be easy.
PlumberS (plural) had to come out and cut into wall under our double vanity, cut into pipe, and clean out the pipe 50' out. I was very upset with the fact that initial plumber had to bring out multiple consultation from 3 others to work it out and that it took 3-days to complete. Plus, upon receiving guidance from Master plumber cut into the wall (special colored and textured) left a 2" frame cut into the wall from the cabinets. This meant upon putting the wall back together left a very unappealing and obvious cut in the wall instead of cutting close to the cabinets and then doing a caulking seam when done. Plus, the plumbers cut through the wall on the other side of the wall not gaging the depth correctly which meant the wall in our main room had gashes visible on the outer wall. I was livid! Then, they started saying "I" would have to repair the walls myself...that it wasn't part of what they did. I was very angry and this did not work for me especially when the errors were done by representatives of the company.
Eventually, they stepped up and said they had an in house handyman, but that it would take a while to get on the schedule for him to come out. THREE weeks later he finally came out.
He, Josh F., was FANTASTIC! Not only did he build a rapport with me upon first phone conversation, but he kept me posted with travel times of arrival and respected our home rules of no shoes in the house. His work was awesome! When he was done, not only did he make the wall under our bathroom vanity look like part of the cabinetry, but the wall in the main room appears as if nothing was ever harmed to the surface. Seamless! Amazing work by Josh and that's why I'm giving the whole job the folks at Radiant a high review. Without Josh's work I would have given a 1 or 2 star. End result is good with pipe cleaned out and walls initially damaged repaired. Thank you, Radiant, for making right and solving the problems.

These guys are real professionals. Punctual, hard working, knowledgeable. We now have a new AC thanks to Radiant. I would recommend them to friends and family.

Everyone is nice and prompt. So there are definitely good customer service skills to highlight. However, the end of the conversation after the repair was a bit sketchy. And the follow up for a quote was equally sketchy.
I called because we suspected our capacitor went bad after a power surge/outage. When the tech inspected our unit, he supposedly found a mess of problems. I find this a bit hard to believe, as I had the system checked out in the spring for our yearly and that tech said it was in tiptop condition given it's age.
The tech supposedly found a leak, but couldn't tell me where it was. He said we were low on freon, so I had him recharge and replace the capacitor. The other problems were with other major parts, which of course would be a whole new system. He showed me a picture of a monitor showing a "bad" with a part. Yet... the part is working. Hmmmm....
When I told him we would only do the "bandaid", he seemed flustered and said I was wasting my money and that the leak will cause massive water damage because a huge block of ice will develop and melt through the ceiling. A new unit could be anywhere from $8-18k but we will probably be around the $10k mark.
I said we have to research units before we can make any decision. He said he would schedule a tech to come out and give us quotes on a new unit. I said, perfect.
New tech arrives the next day. He opens with "I'm no pressure on buying today..." I said great, because like I told the other tech, we can't make a decision like this without research. My spouse is also at work, so I need to talk to him. This is where it got frustrating. He REFUSED to give me any quotes unless I committed. Just said that it'll be about $10k. No information on brands, size, anything... "It'll be comparable to what you have." When I started asking about specifics, he said he would email me, handed me his card and left.
The email was a very generic list of "duh.... of course this better be included in the price!" kind of things. But nothing about actual systems.
Funny story. I had a 2nd opinion come out today. There are ZERO problems with my unit. This company had every opportunity to also sell me a new unit, but has integrity. What a scam by Radiant techs!
I had hoped Sarah and Brad's commercials were a preview of how awesome the company was.... apparently, it is more marketing than anything else.

I've had them come out for plumbing repairs quite a few times and thought they were great! Always very prompt and helpful when a plumbing emergency arose. However, I recently had to cancel a massive ($15,000) repair project with them because they weren't 100% honest regarding pricing. They were not upfront about the likelihood of expensive add-on work that may have to be done until after the contract was signed and even then it was still difficult to get straight answers.
The contracting company they use to excavate showed up, after we had already cancelled, in an unmarked vehicle and tried to start the work without even knocking on the door. I would have expected a bit more professionalism for such an extensive project and from what I believed to be a reputable business.
When I asked if the warranty would cover foundation issues that may result from the work they made me feel as though such coverage was unheard of and only offered it when they realized I was backing out. No one seemed interested in answering my questions until after I canceled the project.
They were going to charge us about $700 extra to replace the wax seal for 2 toilets during the project. I had another company come out to replace them both for only $250. Feel cheated out of money by Radiant Plumbing, especially considering how many times I've used them in the past.

Let me start by saying that I LOVE their commercials! The "Star Wars" spoof they did months ago is A++ and I actually look forward to see what they do next. I certainly appreciate the amount of pride and dedication the technicians put in to my service needs. Thankful for the added safety precautions they take during Covid! They are fast, friendly, and professional. Not just the technicians but also the office staff! True professionals all around. If you think you'll find a better A/C and Plumbing company out there, you won't. Will definitely recommend to others! Thanks!

I called radiant plumbing as I was told by the washer installer that the cold water valve was broken. Radiant came and quoted me at over $1k to fix it. The tech told me the whole box needed to be replaced. I quickly looked up online and saw the box cost $30 at lowe's, he proceeded to tell me his hourly rate was $580. SUCH a rip off.
DO NOT USE RADIANT!! Go with a local plumber like BB Lewis Plumbing. I had them come out and the owner told me nothing was wrong and that it was built up water causing the leak. He released the water, tested the valves and everything worked fine. BB Lewis Plumbing was so honest and professional, they are not looking to rip people off like Radiant. So happy I got a second professional opinion. Also, radiant tried to tell me i needed a 6k water softener, something that is not needed in Austin. Again, another thing BB Lewis confirmed i did not need. Save $7k and use a different company
