So, the owner replied fast and said if I wanted, their manager John could give me a call. I figured, why not. I sent my number in a private message. It's been over a week later and no one named John nor has any employee from Radiant given me a call. Glad I rated them with one star in the first place.

I called radiant plumbing for just a leak detection test that is required by the state of texas every 2 years. A leak detection test should only cost around $100-$200. I thought it was something Radiant Plumbing could handle (the last place I used went out of business.)
Problem #1 - The dispatcher couldn't even give me an idea of how much it would cost. Problem #2 - They arrived a day later than they said they would.
Problem #3 - The plumber that showed up acted like he had no idea what i needed. After explaining what the last place did and showing him the what they had given me he disappeared for a little bit and came back with a $932 estimate.... TO DO A TEST FOR LEAKS. I told him to forget it and he wouldn't leave until i paid a $42 dispatch fee. SO I paid $42 for nothing. Feel totally ripped off. I will NEVER use them again. I guess they run around collecting $42 fees all day by give such outrageous quotes.

They have been out once again (Jan 2015) at Austin Pets Alive fixing the broken heating. These guys do everything for free at the rescue shelter!! They are the best and everyone should use them because they have big hearts!!

We tried Radiant for a plumbing issue after seeing the incredible donation Radiant made for Austin Pets Alive! But we would use Radiant for future plumbing issues because our plumber, Nick Moore, did a great job and was very professional, and took care of the problem quickly with no drama. Nick was on time, professional, and again, he brought the necessary parts. The office was also prompt and professional. It was a great experience from start to finish. Thank you, Radiant, for your donation to APA! and thank you for taking care of us.

never used them but they deserve this for helping austin pets alive... i have read over the negative reviews... i can relate to those... as a property manager i have a lifetime of plumbing company experiences... the #1 problem is that plumbers (as well as all contractors) do 1 of 2 things: they rip-off OR they DO NOT EXPLAIN THE CHARGES to differentiate what they will do as compared to other companies... and i do understand that my phrase "rip-off" is subjective... business have to make a profit.. etc.. etc...

This review is to report unethical practices. I had an apparent water leak on the weekend and had to call out a plumber to locate the leak. It was determined to be in the slab. No work was done at the time and was scheduled for 2 business days out. I asked for an estimate of the repairs. I did not receive an estimate. What I did receive was an paid invoice for over 3,000.00 for work that had not been done. This company charged my credit card $3000.00 for what they called an estimate. The work indicated on the invoice was not accurate to what was done. This bill totalled $900.00/ hour. They damaged a pipe and had to repair their own damage. I gave a cc # to the person over the phone to authorize the 159.00 emergency call I made because it was on the weekend. They took it upon themselves to charge the amount they wanted to my card a day before they even did any work and they did not call me and ask me if they could do that. Again, they had never given me an estimate. The work stated on the bill, again, generated a day before doing any work, ended up not needing to be done. So they charged for work that was not done. Wow. After reading some of the other reviews I see this truly is the practice of this company to overcharge. This company literally cut out a 2inch by 12inch piece of ONE tile to repair the leak. they charged for a jackhammer crew and major demolition to the floor which like I said was not done.

Phil was very nice and personable. All I had done was a Furnace tune-up and thank goodness it was a good report, (it is older and I knwo eventually all will need to be replaced) Phil was very personable and efficient. Seemed to know his business and was very eager to answer questions. I called Radiant because I was impressed that they had helped Austin Pets Alive, and now they will have any future business. Thanks Phil for being so personable and professional!

Thank you for donating $12,000 of heating equipment and installation to the Austin Pets Alive this winter! You guys are literally life savers. Will definitely think of you when it's time for a new AC/Heater.

Radiant Plumbing & A/C is the definition of community spirit. Thanks for helping those at Pets Alive!

This group of people is AWESOME! They went to help Austin Pets Alive! to fix their heating system at no cost! Bless them... The dogs are now keeping themselves warm outside.
Definitely will use this company when I need and I highly recommend you to use Radiant Plumbing & Air Conditioning.
