They did a sink and dishwasher installation just fine. Their plumbers are all very nice and polite. Repairing broken knobs in shower is beyond them though. 3 visits, never any notes from prior plumber as to issue. Always have to leave to find parts. Thankfully last plumber didn't charge me since he accomplished nothing. Now I can't use shower at all as water hardly turns on and shower knob is just spinning, doesn't turn shower on. Time to find a new plumber.

I have to Thank Mike Worthington and and Justin for the outstanding work they did on my home. I found a couple leaks under my home in the main sewage lines. With further review I found couplings that looked like they where not even sealed. Oh my I could not believe what I was finding. I rushed to try and contact multiple Plumbing Companies. My fear was if one of the pipes broke and all the sewage started leaking under my home more than it was what kinds of contamination there would be. After multiple calls to Plumbing Companies no one would even come and look at my problem but Radar Plumbing. Even knowing what I thought could be a highly contaminating situation I was in. Mike and his crew came out the next day and assessed the job. You have no idea how blessed I felt that they did. For they did locate more issues with the overall installation of the original plumbing. After Mike and crew spent all most two hours looking at the plumbing under the home and inside. I asked him when I could have a estimate to repair all that was needed. Mike replied tomorrow. I was very surprised. I received the estimate by 10 am the next morning. I called Mike and we went over the quote. My main concern was how soon they could start the job. I was afraid to flush the toilet as this point. It was Friday he said he could start Monday what a relief I felt. I elected to except the bid. Even if the bid was not the lowest, if I could have even got somebody to come out. With the walk through they did and the conversations I had I felt they where looking out for my best interest and I trusted them. They complete the job on time and it looked like night and day in comparison to the original installation. Mike always took the time to answer my questions when asked. One more thing Mike promised there would be no change orders and there was not. Even though he had to to replace a toilet and numerous other items once the walls where opened up. Myself and my family want to Thank RADAR PLUMBING for a outstanding experience. Kevin K.

I made the mistake of not shopping around, and trusting Radar. I asked for them to install an approriate electric tankless water heater for my 2nd home. They installed one. But it required an electrician to finish. The electrician informed me that the particular heater would require over $2,000 of electrical work. Up to $5,000 if the utility needed to add capacity to the pole.

When I brought this to Radar's attention, they accepted no responsibility for their selection and work. After calling a half dozen other plumbers, I couldn't find anyone else to help me (No one will come over from the valley).

Radar graciously said they would install a more appropriate water heaters and waive $400 of labor. Using this figure, and searching the internet, I learned that they mark up the equipment by about 50% over their cost. They charge $50/hour. After they were finished with me, the extracted a gross profit for the job, after labor and materials, of over $2,300.

The new water heater seems to work fine.

Slow water flow from Kitchen faucet. Quick to respond as we were on a brief visit to our beach house. Was on time, pleasant and fixed the problem with good advice on replacing the faucet on a follow up visit. Courtesy no charge was a great but unnecessary deal. These are nice people in the office and in the field. Highly recommend

We found Radar Plumbing of Gleneden Beach to be the most professional and friendly group of people to work with. The written quote was competitive. The appointment date was met. So we were pleased there were no surprises. We had to have a new water main installed under the driveway and we piggy backed a new toilet the same day. Everyone communicated very well and had wonderful sense of humor in rain, cold, under dirty crawlspaces, and sunshine the whole time. The team was very good at explaining what they were doing under the driveway and when your man handed me an ""instruction manual"" to the new toilet that degenerated into a hysterical moment.

There wasn't an option for zero stars or I would have chosen that one.
In my humble opinion, radar plumbing is nothing but a bunch of crooks. They should not be in business
I asked everyone I could think of after our encounter with radar plumbing if they knew about radar, and sadly, every single person I've spoke to in Lincoln City says to avoid radar plumbing like the plaque.

Radar Plumbing solved our serious plumbing issue promptly in a most professional manner. They took the time to check in with us afterwards to be sure everything was ok. I'd recommend their services to anyone who needs plumbing service.

I have a rental in Lincoln City, was charged $250.00 to fix a leak in out side facet that was dripping, when hose was disconnected. Bill was not itemized, I was shocked by what I was charged for a simple fix, I do not recommend this business to any one. Get several bids even if its a small job.

We highly recommend Radar Plumbing. This morning we had a backup plumbing problem and couldn't use any water. We found Radar Plumbing online. The office staff was very helpful and had a plumber out to fix our problem by early afternoon. The two plumbers were courteous, knowledge and efficient. They clearly diagnosed the problem and told us how much it would cost to fix. Their price was fair and we now have water and flushing toilets! Thank you Radar Plumbing. We won't hesitate to call you again!

We hired radar plumbing to install a new toilet and hook up the plumbing on a new fiberglass tub/shower combo we had already installed at our rental.
We were given a fixed bid for $2123. This seemed very high, but he told us because we had such old pipes, there was a chance he would have to chase back the lines due to breakage, which is why it was such a high quote. We were on a time crunch and had tenants moving in and I unfortunately didn't make time to call around for other quotes, or read Radar's other poor reviews online. Radar also included in our bid a line item for some other misc clean up work he would bill us on a time and materials basis. This work was completely over looked and never touched during their time working on the house.

The work that we were given a fixed bid for at $2123 was completed. I requested our invoice several times. We received it 3 months later (Yikes! Makes you wonder about their billing department) it was $1060 over our original bid. When we asked Mike, the owner, why it was so much higher he aggressively told us that it was because they had to chase old pipe and it was a lot more work than they had anticipated. He knocked $100 off in material costs after my fiance called them out that they had grossly overcharged us on materials, thus we ended up paying $960 more than our original bid, that was quite high to begin with totaling $3083 for connecting a new toilet and a tub drain, faucet and shower head.

A few months later my fiancee, against my wishes, had Radar continue on his project Radar installed a leaking hot water heater. According to Mike there was no way to know it was leaking until it was installed. Then when they came back to install a new hot water heater they sent a lone apprentice who installed a dented unit and billed my fiance's company a second time.

After that I was upset and called Mike. I wanted to hear his side of the story, which to his credit he was available for, but during that time it came out that supposedly he was being given differing information from his plumbers than what was actually true. He agreed, after an intense conversation to refund us the $240 for installing the 2nd broken water heater (we didn't request a refund for the leaking unit.) When I followed up on the $240 refund 12 days after we had agreed, I was not surprised to see that Mike once again took the low road. He said the $240 that was owed to my fiancee's company was sitting on his desk, but he would not send it unless I took down my ""nasty"" review on Angie's list. Then, after I didn't respond the check finally came about 5 days after that.

For a moment in time, owner Mike attempted to use the refund that was mutually agreed upon, to leverage as hush money. I would be happy to take down my negative review if Mike humbles himself, apologizes and refunds us the $960 over-charge from our fixed bid on the rental. I doubt he will do this. I would hope that a local business owner would use these opportunities to learn how to better serve his clients rather than see us (especially women) as being out of line and nasty. I had feelings early on in working with Radar that my best interests or my budget weren't on their radar, and for so many homeowners we put so much trust in these companies to help us make smart, economical decisions. This review is written in the hopes that other people do not have to go through what we've gone through and take the time to call around and work with another vendor on the coast, even though at times it feels there are not a lot to choose from. Thank you!
