In short: They sent someone out the same day who solved my problem and even helped with some other issues for free -- great customer service!  I will definitely be calling them again!

Dakota came out and installed a shut off valve for me on one of my hose pipes to split it off for sprinklers.  He did the work fairly quickly and then asked if I had any other problems - he ended up taking a look and helping with one of my drains in the bathroom and also replacing the tub spout/diverter (I had the part already) for free!   He was very polite and helpful, great service!  

I'm so glad this place worked out, because another local plumber I had here late last year was not that great, and I was worried I wouldn't be able to find a good plumber out here in California City -- but now I have!

Never again will I use the business. I needed a water heater replaced. After Rob gave me a quote I accepted his price. Next day 3 workers showed up with new hot water heater. It took them 6 hours to install. They had to make 3 trips to hardware store. Only 1 worker knew what he was doing and the other 2 just watched. They left a mess in my garage and didn't even run a text for leakage. It took 2 call backs to finally stop the leaks. I'm a senior and it was a total nightmare. Charged me almost 1200.00 and didn't even clean up. Luckily my gardener clean it up for me the next day.

A woman. Because of my working schedule and I made this perfectly clear, I gave her explicit instructions to have him ( or his crew ) call me before coming over.

No one called. Four ""kids"" just showed up.

These ""kids"" photographed the problem and said someone ( presumably Rob ) will be in touch.
No one ever contacted me again. No one ever came back.

You can not rely on this guy. If you have a problem that must be handled ASAP you might want to look elsewhere. Don't count on this guy or these kids and don't wait on him. There are other options. They are NOT reliable and they obviously do not respect or follow your instructions for returning your call.

Owner, would rather play, than promote his business.
Poor communication.
2 employees, performed several upgrades in my home.
They left a mess, everywhere they worked.
They were clearly, in a hurry to ""get out"".
The charges, were extreme. I am a retired handyman, so I have a working knowledge, of what the cost should be for materials & labor.
No senior discount, even when mentioned.
AND, on top of that, I had to run for parts, so they could complete the work.
Unprofessional, to say the least.
Owner needs to devote more personal time to his clients.
Owner called the lead worker, inquiring about the status of the work.
Interesting, that the owner did not bother to even call & ask me, how things were going. Nor, did he even call to ask whether or not, I was happy with the work.
I always made time for my clients, as it should be. In addition to managing the work, if I had workers performing the work, I would always manage the job to the end. I would do a final walk through, to ensure satisfaction. Such, was not the case, here.
One of very few, who offer plumbing repairs & upgrades, in my area.
This allows one to ""take advantage"".
As far as the actual work, it was done right, as far as I can tell.
Except for leaks, that occurred & were corrected by me, the next day.
Had they not been in such a hurry to get out, they possibly would have noticed the loose connections.
Overpriced & over rated..........

I just moved to Cal city and bought a house here and learned that well, it gets very cold here and pipes freeze! I had no water for hours while it was thawing and once it did, a pipe burst in front of my house and basically gave me my own water fall in my front lawn! Water Dept came out to shut if off and noticed a huge crack in my pipe and recommended Racer Rob! Called and they had someone at my house in 15 minutes! They were so amazing!! Replaced my pvc pipe and water regulator and I'm brand new again. To be honest I was worried being a first time home owner that the final price would have been outrageous but when I got the estimate I cousins have been happier considering how many hours they were here and all the work they put in. Thank you so much for everything! Will definitely be using again!!!

I have utilized this man's service for the last 2 years. The 1st time he was great, and then he made several mistakes. He charged me a return fee for his errors. Finally, I called another plumber & he showed me the facts. Rob, never put a wax ring an the new toilet he replaced, nor did he bolt in the base & that was the reason the toilet would never sit right. He charged me $200 to replace a toilet that never stuck properly & an additional $50 to come back out and have the same issue. First time shame on you, second time shame on me, but never will you get a third chance to charge me for your mistakes. I had a leak in kitchen sink he charged me for & it still leaked, so I called him again. He did not fix it properly the first time. Basically, I had to call a real plumber to fix what he over charged me for it was insulting. He called me a liar after I gave him my business for the last 2 years. He does not have the tools, patience, or integrity to be a great professional plumber. I will never repeat.

Just had Dennis from Racer Rob come and install 3 toilets. First he was on time, always a good thing. Next he removed and installed each toilet one at a time taking care to make them straight and level.

When finished he put the toilet seat on, caulked and carted off the old toilets. A service I was not expecting, but appreciate. Oh, and left the bathrooms clean.

The price was fair, the work done well, that is all you can ask. Next project will require more skill and time. will update my review when that job is complete.
