It is rare that I can give an unqualified review of a contractor, but this is one of those rare times. Rabe Plumbing and Heating did a superb job replacing an old lead water line from the street into our house in Media. They went the extra mile on absolutely everything. They carefully explained the job at the outset, laid out cones to reserve parking the night before, showed up exactly on time, carefully excavated, pulled the old line and replaced it with a new copper line, did a nice finish job inside and out, replaced the bricks in the sidewalk that had to be removed, and left everything clean. Friendly, professional, super competent, and they are genuinely nice people. They treat you like family. It doesn't get any better. A+ rating from this happy camper.

$180.00 service fee to come out. Absurd!!! Then wanted to charge $400 to change my faucet.

Very good service!

I called Rabe yesterday because my basement was flooding. I live very close to the office so Kevin was out within minutes after I called.
Thankfully it was a very small issue (the GFI needed to be reset on my sump pump). Kevin came in, quickly diagnosed the issue and only charged me half of the usual service call fee because he was only here for a few minutes.
I'm not a plumber and honestly he could have told me anything and I would have believed him. I was prime to be taken advantage of and he didn't. He was kind and honest and I appreciated it.
I would highly recommend Rabe Plumbing to anyone.

We used Rabe yesterday for an overflowing utility tub (our home is older so can be prone to pipe issues). Called around 8 AM and within the hour, a timeframe for the appointment was set (between 12 and 2). Two technicians arrived at the earlier end of the timeframe. The job was a bit bigger than initially anticipated due to the plumbers noting that a trap by the garbage disposal was installed incorrectly, so they went to pick up parts and fixed it. Perfectly clean work area when they wrapped up and reasonable pricing. Would call again for quick, smart and efficient service!

Rabe plumbing were there for us in an immediate pinch. Out pipes froze and bust during a cold snap and they came out at night on New Years Day to repair them. They were responsive, knowledgeable, and kind. We highly recommend them!
