I haven't actually done any business with this company before, because they refused. I called offering them a simple plumbing job. The woman who answered the phone was quite rude - she cut me off and told me she wasn't interested before I fully explained what I needed. She then hung up on me mid-sentence.

They might be able plumbers, but they need a serious improvement in customer service.

Although situations calling for plumbers are usually not good, I recently had a very positive experience with R A Gray Plumbing & Heating and will use them again for future plumbing needs. I called them midday on Friday and, although they were not able to send someone the same day, they arranged for a Saturday morning appointment at no extra charge (weekend appointments usually merit an additional fee). None of the other seven plumbers I tried had availability until Monday. The scheduler I worked with was extremely helpful and personable. She made every effort to narrow down the appointment window, and the plumber called personally an hour before arriving. Once there, the plumber was professional and resolved the problem quickly.
