Great work, great price, fast & friendly service. Handled a plumbing emergency in my vacation rental and I didn't even lose one night of bookings. Thank you for the fine job installing my new garbage disposal!

I called this company since they are local and I want to support the locals here in this small town. I called up the phone number and talked to an elderly women that asked me what I needed and where I lived. I told her I am local and you did the original plumbing for this house when it was built. I told her that I needed a reverse osmosis installed under my kitchen sink, she said she would have her son and have him come over, so I set a time and day for them to come by and they never called or showed up. So about 3 weeks later I called again, and got the same story that she'll have her Son call me within the hour and again no call. You're a small local company with a horrible reputation I see, and my only advise is to straighten up your business practices, especially in this small town! Word spreads fast around here.

I have had a cabin at Green Valley Lake since 1976. In those years I have used Roberts many times. Without exception I have received prompt. efficient and fairly priced service both routine and for ""emergency"" covering heating, plumbing, electrical, and repairs. As a weekender, it is comforting to know they are available if needed. Plus, they are among the most pleasant people Iv'e done business with.

Poor construction repairs, company unable to complete three jobs correctly and within code, per new contractor hired to repair shoddy work done by r.w. roberts. One repair completed ended up with serious safety issue in our home, another completely wrong installation, the third job caused flood issue to continue, due to wrong installation again.. Be careful if you decide to ignore this reviiew. Good luck folks.

I have been going to Green Valley Lake with my boyfriend to a cabin his brother owns for 3 years now. During that time the forced air heating unit that RW Robert Construction Company installed has never worked right. The cabin owners informed RWRCC when it was installed that it would run for a while then shut off and would not go back on for at least an hour and you would have to switch the thermostat off and then on. It would repeat this cycle over and over with everyone who used the cabin freezing their butts off. The installer told them ""you have a fireplace and that happens"". I've been calling BS on that with the boyfriend since I first found out about it.

On 12/06/13 my boyfriend and I arrived in Green Valley Lake at the cabin to find the furnace not working at all. We called the brother who wanted us to call RWRCC, thank God they did not answer the phone so I had an excuse to go around that command and get someone in who actually knew what the heck they were doing.

I called another HVAC company from Yelp (check my other reviews for the company) at 7:30pm and he showed up at the door by 8:30pm; on a Friday no less. He traced the problem to the junction box which RWRCC did not wire properly. No wire nuts, just twisted wire which had come loose. Fire hazard number one. He had to completely rewire the junction box. He was able to restore power to the unit and then could diagnose why it was not working which turned out to be a control wire. Also, turns out the thermostat was for a heat pump not a forced air heater and they mixed up the wire colors so that anyone looking at would be confused. Morons!

We told him about it cycling off and locking out for an hour and that RWRCC made up some lame excuse about it. He said what actually was happening was that the natural gas and air mixture was not set for the correct altitude so it would overheat the firebox because of too rich a mixture which caused the unit to go into lockout mode for an hour. I verified this with the owner's manual and it did exactly what it was supposed to do as a safety feature for overheating. Fire hazard number two. He said we were very lucky as either the house could have burned down or killed everyone in it from carbon monoxide poisoning if the firebox had cracked from being overheated.

The license number on their website is incorrect as it should be 596471. Here is a link the the CSLB website with their license info. https://www2.cslb.ca.gov/OnlineServices/CheckLicenseII/LicenseDetail.aspx?LicNum=596471 If it were me that owned the cabin I would file a complaint with the Contractors Licensing Board, the BBB and against their business license for the City of Green Valley Lake although the Building and Safety inspector should have caught this when it was installed so he's an idiot too.

I do not know how they found this company however do not use them to install your HVAC system or even to repair it. They do not know what they are doing and it COULD KILL YOU!
