Greyhawk Trails - Naples, Fl - RT Moore came to service my water heater. They discovered that the burner needed to be replaced and I agreed to do this as it was under warranty and also do the drain and refill of the tank as I have been in my new place close to 2 years. I paid $270

Next Day, I received my part and called RT Moore to come on back and they did. They wanted to charge me $160 and I informed them that the tech from yesterday said $125 and he honored that amount . I also asked him if he drained the tank again as I saw a hose and he stated that he did. I asked him as to why the tech from yesterday did not ask me to simply wait and then my rates would have been different. The tech from today stated after he agreed with me, ""I did not know why? we should have waited as I did the same thing""

I then called a service manager and his name was Javier I believe and he was totally useless and chose not to help or make me understand except that the first day they drained it all the way to the bottom and refill and this time around they drained it enough to place the replacement part.

Except this is not true as the tech said that he did the same work.

Everyone remember we have choices and money in this economy is important to us all, but, even more to RT Moore. Watch your wallet and ask questions

Recently, RT Moore was dispatched to our rental townhome to assist with a dryer vent issue under warranty. Mike Davis was the HVAC expert who came. Mike could not have been more helpful. Mike has excellent customer service skills. Mike is knowledgeable, but more importantly, he cares. This was a tricky issue, but he stayed at it until he figured it out and solved the problem. I just felt it important write a positive review about Mike Davis. If ever we have other HVAC sorts of issues, Mike will be the first person we call. Kudos to Mike for delivering such excellent customer service.

After building our new home in Noblesville it was quickly realized my family needed a water softener and a hot water circulation pump. RT Moore was the contractor who plumbed the house so I went to them for a bid for my needed work. I also obtained a bid from another major plumbing contractor using the same specs I used for RT Moore. RT Moore beat the competition by at least $1,000 for an identical bid spec. The plumber specialist sent for both the quotation and installation was very experienced, knowledgeable, and helped explain in full detail what we were getting and how it functioned. His name is Kurt Blevins and I highly recommend you ask for him for future plumbing needs with this company. He is very detail oriented and does the job correctly the first time which is a trait I highly desire having come from the service industry myself. RT Moore is a huge company and often the little folk get lost in the big picture. I am happy to say this company elevates the little guy like they do the major home builders they contract with. Don't let their size intimidate you if you need personal plumbing work for your residence. Thanks RT Moore and thanks to you, Kurt Blevins, for an awesome experience and a quotation that didn't break the bank!

I called the emergency line on Saturday evening after I discovered that the AO Smith water heater they installed 3 years ago was leaking. The service technician said that their warehouse was closed and the soonest they could have a new water heater for me would be Monday. Monday morning rolls around and I call to confirm my appointment time. I was told that they did not have my name on the schedule and the soonest they would be able to get a new water heater to me would be Friday! I have to keep the hot water shut off to prevent the second floor of my home from flooding. They think it's acceptable to make a customer wait 6 days without hot water. Terrible customer service. They need to have a better way of tracking calls/appointment times on the weekends.

They tell you they can give you an estimate and then when they get to the job they tell you there is a fee. No one told us we would be charged for looking at our system. Considering 3 days prior they visited another property and did not charge for the site visit. There was no indication we would be using them for the repair. Then the technician Rob tells you 3 different prices. Felt very bait and switch. When the receptionist, Laura thought you were going to do more business with them she was very nice. The minute you express displeasure she turns into rude and abrupt. This company was referred to me. Won't use them again. Be sure you get the charge in writing and ahead of time. I wonder if the technicians are allowed to charge whatever they want. Bad business.

First of all, if it would be possible to post less than a star, we would. Let us start by saying we have used R T Moore in the past, and since an experienced plumber named, Kim, retired, service with them has gone downhill ever since. Going back a number of years, a shutoff was installed incorrectly which resulted in years of costs due to the problem it created. A year ago, we had them install a water heater and sump pump. Both of which were installed INCORRECTLY, not to code! It caused the the sump pump to burn out in less than a year$$$, and had to have the water heater install brought up to code. After calling and talking to CJ, he asked if we would like to have someone else to correct the problem and/or if we took pictures of the work??!! Why would we want someone else from R T Moore to come back out when they continuously caused the problems. It's a matter of trust! He told us there was nothing more he could do for us. Right is right and wrong is wrong!

Just purchased a brand new home and was experiencing issues with low water flow in the shower, toilets that wouldn't flush anything down very easily and lack of hot water through out the home.

Scotty arrived. Was very personable and took care all the issues we had.

Additionally, he tested our water and much to our surprise it was on the high range of bad water. He suggested a water softener be installed and left the brochures and pricing information. No hard sales at all..

After suffering water damage RT Moore was hired to do the remediation and restoration. They did an excellent job on the clean up. However the restoration bill included over $2,000 in charges for work not done. Despite emails and phone calls they have chosen not to do anything about it.
