This company came to my home to fix a leaky kitchen. After completing the repair the ran a tiny bit of water and said ""all fixed, no leaks."" Later that evening when washing the dishes and removing the sink plug the repair leaked like a sieve. They were called and made and another appointment. No show so I called. They made another appointment and again no show. I called a third time and they set another appointment date saying they gave their word they would be here 2 days ago and again no show. They never called to advise they would not be here on a specific date. I will never use the business and highly suggest you do not use them as they are totally inept with repairs and customer courtesy.

Jim came out to repair a leak and install a kitchen faucet the next day after calling him.
Did an outstanding job on both.

Highly recommend him.

I've been using these guys for years. Jim knows my house well. He's always here within a few hours at the most. He does a great job for a reasonable fee. I wouldn't use anyone else for my plumbing needs.

We hired them to rod out our main sewer line as we were getting dirt backed up in our tub. They quoted us $225 for a main sewer line rod out. It turns out it was a simple bathtub clog that took 5 minutes to unclog. We were still charged $225 even though they did not perform the more extensive work. This is totally dishonest and price gouging. Do NOT use them!

In a world where most of the time we hold our breath and wait for service providers to squeeze us in, or arrive late, or try to upsell, R & S exists as one of the best, most honest plumbing providers. They have been nothing but efficient, taking the time to explain exactly what was wrong, how to prevent a recurrence, and provide timely repair at a solid rate. I have worked with them for years but my most recent experience was the Monday after Thanksgiving. The basement sink and piping sprung a leak. Called R & S early in the morning and although booked, they found an opening while in the neighborhood, came out and found and fixed the problem. This was huge as there was a slow leak that required monitoring. When speaking to them, I gave them every out to say I could just go elsewhere if they couldn't make it, but they promised to let me know and lo and behold, got me in. It is a relief to have this trusted a partner in home repair and I can't say enough about their quality and customer service. A+++.

Was referred to R&S by two colleagues and have used the company for two toilet issues and one disposal replacement. Timely service and reasonable prices. Jim can be blunt (especially if you're a failed DIYer like me), but in a good way that reflects honesty and ultimately helps you. High-quality, trustworthy work (30+ years of experience) and he provided advice about reliable products and cost-saving maintenance. Would definitely call them again!

Initially was happy with your service. It took longer because you got our street address and phone number wrong, but it all worked out.

However, we never got a bill (due to the sewer work being contracted). Late last month, finally got a bill (with the street address still wrong, thank you USPS for being able to figure out where to get the bill though!), asking for payment. Planned to pay this month after getting paid.

Today, a woman shows up at my house while I'm away demanding payment from my wife, saying that they've called and mailed multiple times trying to reach me. Checked my work and cell, no records of any calls at that number, and no voicemails from R&S, most likely you never corrected the phone number in your system.

We paid, and I contacted R&S privately by email asking to resolve the situation in good faith. Instead I got an unsolicited call at my workplace from the same person who was rude to my wife, first calling my wife a liar, and even after admitting she had the wrong phone number (a 224 area code when I've never had any such number) wondering why I didn't take it upon myself to call them back (with them saying ""Well, I don't have a crystal ball""). If I had written a check last week, likely R&S would not have received it by now. Nothing like being treated like a deadbeat and a liar EVEN AFTER EXPLAINING, despite having other work done by other contractors in the coming months that was paid in full immediately, due to a mistake in recording information.

Stay very far away from R&S. It seems like they do their job very well, but if something goes wrong, they'll assume you're the worst scum alive.

Jim arrived the morning I called, and completed a difficult bathroom sink drain job by noon. The price was reasonable, and he was professional and friendly. Will use again.

We've used R&S a few times...pricey but they got the job done. We called them last Friday about a toilet that would not flush. No weekend hours (very inconvenient) so Keith came out on Monday. He told my husband (who had to leave work for the appt) that we did not need new toilets, just a good ""un-clogging"". $150 later, our toilet was flushing again. Three days later, it stopped working. We called R&S a few times Friday morning to be told that no one could help us till the following Monday. Oh, and since they had recently been out they would only charge $60 per half hr. John also said we probably just needed new toilets...opposite of what Keith said. So $150 spent for nothing. We called another company and they came out first thing Saturday morning. Yes, we do need new toilets and yes we are going with the company that actually responded to our needs and provided timely, honest services. We first called R&S after a recommendation; we will never recommend them or give them business again.

Keith is so great to work with. They are our go to plumber for any repair. Their honesty is what truly stands out. When he could have said I needed a new hot water heater he showed me the single nut that was loose. Tightened the nut and saved me hundreds.
