I moved to Athens during the summer and bought a house. I wanted to have the electric stove switched to gas right away, and my realtor arranged to have R & R run the gas to the kitchen the day after the closing. They did a great job, were thoughtful, and cleaned everything up perfectly. They showed me the work they'd done and where they ran the lines. Later, when I had the kitchen sink replaced with a deeper one, I needed to have the plumbing under the sink changed, and called them to have that done also. They were on time, and again, did a great job. Then I had a problem with a water heater (for radiant floor heating). They weren't sure what was wrong but reset the thermostat and it seemed to work. They wouldn't take payment until they were sure it was fixed. It went out again, and they came back right away and replaced two heating elements. Again, they wouldn't accept payment until they were sure it was fixed, which it was. Their prices are reasonable.

Typically I don't write many reviews but felt this one warranted it. R&R performed a plumbing inspection on a house we are going to purchase. As they couldn't come to the house on day where my husband or I could be there, our realtor went in our place. After someone showed up almost an hour late, they didn't provide an invoice and left telling our realtor that they would provide us with one and also include an estimate. I followed up with them a week later to speak with the person who performed the inspection, left a message, and never heard back. I tried calling and leaving messages over the course of a month, and...crickets. I finally reached a live person when calling from a different number. This person stated that they were the only one in the office at the time and that they would need to call me back. Of course I never heard back. I then tried to call again from my cell phone only to get the machine again, left a message, and never heard back. Such un-professionalism. Steer clear and go with the other company.
