I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS RIPOFF BUSINESS.

The business is apparently going to live on just the service charge they get from customers, because I don't know who in their right mind would pay their outrageous prices for their work. Originally, we contacted Daniel's Plumbing to have a broken outdoor underground pipe fixed, because they were located in Butler, MO but was redirected to R & R Plumbing (apparently, they bought out Daniel's Plumbing). They never informed us they were in Harrisonville, MO. We were informed of a $150.00 service call fee but was told it would be deducted from the quote if they were chosen to do the work. After receiving the first quote of $6,750.00 ($6,600.00 after $150.00 deduction), we were shocked at the amount to fix an underground leak. After discussing the quote with their representative, we were informed, just to load their backhoe and transport it to Montrose, MO it would be $3,500.00 before the cost of the parts needed to fix the leak. We were surprised they were located in Harrisonville, because when we called for Daniel's, they were located 15 minutes away from our home. So, we requested a cheaper fix and was sent a 2nd quote of $4,390.00 before the $150.00 deduction, so we were looking at $4,240.00. Even when they adjusted the quote it was still way over charging for the work needed. We contacted a local plumber, and they fixed the issue for $325.00. They didn't charge a $3,500.00 fee to load the backhoe and drive to our home. Even though we did agree with the service charge, we were unaware at the time they were located in Harrisonville, MO and their hour drive to our home. We eventually will pay them for the service charge because we don't want a dishonest company sending a bad credit report to ruin our credit. I would HIGHLY recommend that no one contact this company for a quote, because at their rates for service you probably won't hire them, if they don't get the money from their quotes maybe they will either go out of business or start charging a reasonable price for their services.

I had scheduled well in advance and called on the morning of said service appointment to confirm and to get an a closer estimated time for the service. I was told they'd have a better idea after lunch (understandable)...no call UNTIL 24 MINUTES prior to appointment time to CANCEL due to short a technican...if you seek timely and reliable communication--I'd look elsewhere!
