these guys lack professional courtesy. they may tell you that they are running late, but they will not contact you if they are unable to perform that day. They are not 24 hours, as their website says. As soon as it hit around 4 or 5 pm they stopped answering the phone. I was completely ignored, and if that is the hallmark of their service, then do yourself a favor and take your business elsewhere. Also, do yourself a favor and look at the unrecommended review already here. Had I have seen that I would have reconsidered my time

Appointment for service was canceled by the plumber just 2 hours prior to the scheduled time claiming that the type of plumbing system installed in the house is a liability issue for their firm. However, they have done plumbing on this house several times in the last few months. The requested service was to simply reconnect the refrigerator water supply line. The plumber said I should call the office and hung up on me. I called the office, and the woman who answered seemed to have been familiar with this appointment and said she would get back to me. No return call. I called again twice and left messages, but no response to date. My review is more about the manner in which the service call was handled. I didn't understand why the request to reconnect the refrigerator water supply line couldn't be accommodated since they had recently disconnected it during their previous service call. Because it's a Manibloc plumbing system didn't make much sense to me since they recently made several service calls. The water supply line is just a connection line to the refrigerator and has nothing to do with anything else. He hung up on me, and I never received the promised return call from their office. I called their office number several times and left messages. Regarding the option to rebuild our plumbing system 4 years ago for free, I would have gladly accepted that offer if that assertion was entirely true. Until the first service call made in March this year, I never had any direct contact with this company. They have done work at other homes in our subdivision before, and that's how I became aware of them. The first service call to R&R Plumbing was for a slow leak at the Manabloc manifold. This was the second time I've had a leak at the manifold. I don't believe R&R Plumbing did anything to the manifold, but they replaced the pressure regulating valve under the house claiming that the water pressure was excessively high (100 psi +) and the valve wasn't properly reducing the water pressure. However, the manifold leak did stop. They suggested I contact my insurance company and file a water damage claim. The insurer said that these kind of leaks are not compensable and are generally considered an act of god. I didn't pursue this further since the water damage is not extensive. I don't believe this is relevant to R&R's issues. The second service call by R&R was to replace a toilet valve. During the first call, I wanted them to check a hissing sound coming from the valve. Instead of replacing the valve, they replaced the connection elbow from the wall to the bottom of the toilet tank justifying this as a common Manabloc system failure point. However, there were no leaks from the tank connection prior to their visit. I noticed the hissing sound again later and had them return to complete this work. The third service call was to address leaks from my refrigerator water/ice dispenser, and they disconnected the supply line at the kitchen sink cold water supply. A new hose connection from the wall to the kitchen faucet was installed. I bought a new refrigerator and wanted the supply line to be reconnected. I have since completed the refrigerator water connection myself. I had more difficulty finding the correct T connector than anything else. My BBB review was to hopefully encourage them to revisit their customer relations. I felt they were rude and arrogant. I feel the defensive tone of their comments reflect this attitude; they don't appear to be empathetic to customers; and they took no action to respond directly to me.
