They are good guys. They did some work on my furnace when I was selling my house and the cost was reasonable. They also worked on my furnace before than and they told me I didn't need a new furnace because that one was still on great shape. A few years before that I was being pressured by another company because.
Have used a variety of plumbers for our Manchester, CT, home over the years with mixed results. Today I added R & R to the list & will not need to look further! Shut-off valves under kitchen sink started leaking following my (successful) faucet repair.
R & R was nice on the phone, prompt in their response (same day), diagnosed & fixed the problem. Great personality (for a Red Sox fan...we're a Mets household), too.
Great service. Great attitude. I'm a fan!
Thanks!
Andy L.I cannot recommend Ron and his team highly enough. Our boiler/furnace died this winter and after being quoted an APPALLINGLY ridiculous rate by Aiello, R&R came in (at the referral of another trusted contractor) and promised the same service and products at a FRACTION of the cost. To further support this review, they scheduled the install (and removal of the old, non-working equipment) in mere days and did terrific work, restoring our heat. Ron was extremely easy to work with and flexible with our schedule. As a Manchester resident I value working with local, dependable service providers, and R&R lived up to every expectation we had.
I highly recommend R&R and look forward to working with them in the future.
After calling in excess of 10 other plumbers, R & R Plumbing and Heating was my choice and I made the best possible choice. They were the only company that would quote me a price over the phone. This wasn't for a huge job, it was to install a new toilet. Some wouldn't give a quote at all and some gave such a huge range in price they shouldn't have bothered. R & R gave me a quote on a Monday, I called back on Wednesday and they were out within the hour. The charge was exactly what was quoted, the work was professional and they cleaned everything up perfectly. They even removed the old toilet. I was thrilled with the company and would recommend them to friends and family. I would use them happily again in the future.

Patrick G.I will let the past reviews BELOW speak for themselves. Suffice it to say, doing business with R&R caused extreme stress and emotional turmoil ... not to mention a freezing house:

Horrible In EVERY Way!
These guys are a joke. They lie, then get caught lying, and then lie some more to try to talk their way out of it. Don't expect anything but lies, terrible service, and getting ripped off with R&R!

My experience with R & R Plumbing was horrible from start to finish. I will never use this company ever again and would recommend everyone else avoid them as well.

I would not recommend anyone go with R & R Plumbing. We some pluming problems and called them to come out for an estimate. The plumber they sent was rude, only looked at the most minor problem we had called the company to look at (a leaky toilet) before insisting that he would have to come back to provide an estimate for the other problems, lied about being unable to get replacement parts for said toilet, and then proceeded to charge us over $40 for a 10 minute assessment and absolutely no work.

""R & R Plumbing & Heating Inc in Manchester is the worst plumbing company I have ever seen. Do yourself a favor and do with a decent honest plumber. These guys are out to rip people off and avoid doing quality work at all costs! AVOID AT ALL COSTS!""

Adequate Plumber but can probably find betterUnclogged a drain in my 76 year old mother's house. Charged over $200 and left a mess in the basement for her to clean up.
Stay away. We had an issue with leaking valves under the kitchen sink, and a dishwasher that needed to have new drain line installed. The plumber (not the owner) spent more time arguing with the homeowner than he did actually doing any work. The dishwasher? It's still not installed properly. The leaking valves below the sink? He claimed that he ""tightened"" them...and they still leak. The charge of $293 dollars for three hours of ""labor"" was absolutely ridiculous. As he left the house, all he said was, ""You need to a new dishwasher."" Nope, wrong again Mr. ""plumber."" It's a high end brand and only five years old. Your incompetence as a plumber doesn't mean we need a new unit.
A few days later, we called the company on a weekend because the leaks were bad and we had put pans under the sink to catch the water. The answering service promised a call back and...surprise...nothing. Absolutely nothing. No phone call, no response, nothing. If this is their version of ""customer service,"" then I want absolutely nothing to do with this company and will never recommend anyone does business with them. Good luck growing your business by word of mouth, R&R Plumbing, because your business practices and plumbing acumen need of a lot of improvement.
They got it right and went over the top to make sure my new furnace was there when I needed it. We normally heat with wood, but the old furnace was 31+ years old. Ron does all of the assessments himself, great price at around $6,000 for a 1200 sq ft house. Best part - responsibility excellent - communication superb. He and a couple of his folks were at my house for about 2 days (during the coldest week this winter when I'm sure they had a lot of repair calls). Can't say enough good things about them. Thank you Ron and staff!!!
Eddie L.I called at 2:00 P.M. for a plumbing emergency on a Saturday.. I spoke to a rude woman at the answering service who was a terrible listener who told me someone would be calling me back. As of 6:05 P.M., I still haven't had the basic courtesy of a return call.
I called another plumber at 5:30 P.M. They answered the phone (no answering service - extremely friendly) and are on their way now. Will I ever call R&R again? Absolutely not.
Nicholas S.I have been in Manchester now for 8 years. I have used R&R about 5 or so times. Just recently I called to see if they could fix a very slow leak I noticed. The owner took time out of his day to drive over to see if it was something they should fix right away and even fit me into the schedule that same day. I have always been happy with the service they have provided. It's good to support local businesses and this is one that should be used by our community..
Has anyone had any issues with R & R Plumbing with a conversion to gas? We had ours done on 10/31/12 and keep having issues, burner has been locked out three times, the settings have been changed twice and it is very loud when the heat comes on. R & R is stating they have had no complaints and have done over 100 conversions. SAt times it sounds like a car is idling in our living room. They are not willing to fix anything
