Moving here from California, I'm use to choices and quality and value. My well tank had kick the bucket. It was the original. Well was full of water. So, I needed a professional plumber. I always believed the best ""Advertisment"", word of mouth. R plumbing was recommended to me from another professional and quality person David Hutchins Electrical. I called and R plumbing returned my called. David came and was prompt and professional and did quality work. He immediately located and identified the problem. He came ready with everything. Coming from California to a rural area you don't always find ""Quality"". R Plumbing gets a **********10 star rating. I'm a happy happy camper. I recommend R Plumbing for your plumbing needs, don't go to no one else.

We recently moved into a home in Wytheville, VA that was built in the late 1960s. It is well constructed and has some issues.

There was a water leak downstairs which we discovered with wet carpet. We contacted several plumbers and no one was readily available. We stopped the leak for the moment.

R Plumbing Co., LLC is headquartered in Dugspur, VA. and we contacted them. They were available the next day. We were simply taking, so to speak, a shot in the dark being new to this area.

We were ultimately very, very surprised with the service. He arrived on time. The plumber discovered the cause of the leak and secured the plumbing. One of us went to a local store to get a new faucet for that problem but the store did not have a correct sink drain. We had a toilet that had been turned to off. I certainly felt safer, just in case, with a plumber turning on the water. He adjusted the fill mechanism and figured that it was over filling so someone just turned off the water. He went through the house and found several other problems. Ultimately he resolved 4 different problems and took time to inspect other plumbing.

He was not trying to ""up-sell"" us to make more money. He was very thorough and fully explained the repairs. There were a couple of things that someone suggested should be immediately replaced. The plumber said that there was no reason to replace something just to replace it.

We were very happy with the cost for his service. It was very reasonable. He was likely here for nearly 2 hours. We plan on installing a new dishwasher and he said that he could install it. We will certainly ask him to do that work for us.

Ultimately we had a very pleasant experience, not that we wanted to spend money. We will in the future ask R Plumbing to take care of any plumbing issues and have recommended this firm to several people.

I had patched a pinhole leak in the cold water line just above my waterheater. A month later it was leaking a little and this time I made the problem worse trying to fix it. I can patch small leaks, but I can't replace copper pipes. R Plumbing could not come the same day and I had to live with the water shut off, but that was ok since it wasn't going to be long. Then I had a family emergency but in talking to David I left my utility room door unlocked and left him some money based on his estimate of the cost.

He let me know the repair was done and when I returned home a few days later I found a very professional looking repair job. All in all the experience met or exceeded my expectations and so I am leaving a 5-star review which I don't often do unless a company really impresses me and makes me very happy.

Recently, while helping my wife wash dishes, I inadvertently let some popsicle sticks sneak unseen into the garbage disposal. From the sound this caused, one would have thought there were rocks down there. I called our regular plumber and received no answer. Later, I tried again and got voice mail. Later, I tried once more. When I could not reach this company, I went to the internet and found R. Plumbing, LLC. Ten minutes before end of business, I called. Voice mail. In less that thirty minutes I received a very pleasant call from the owner of R.Plumbing. I explained my situation and found this gentleman to be genuinely interested in my problem. He was now home with his family. Would tomorrow be O.K? He said he would make room for me right after lunch. At around 1:00 PM, he pulled into our driveway. In less that thirty minutes my garbage disposal was humming like contented bumblebee. The gentleman was pleasant, very polite, knowledgeable, technically gifted and very reasonably priced. When the job proved short he explained, almost apologetically, that he had to charge for a service call and was there any other plumbing jobs he could do while he was there? This is the company I will call every time I have any plumbing installation or repairs that I need done. I would recommend it most heartily, and without any worries. I was much more that satisfied. I was impressed and very, very pleased.
