I called on Saturday and the person answered stating they would not be able to come until Tuesday afternoon. Waited until 5pm and nothing. I totally forgot that's south Florida even when you are paying fir a service. wow. Can anyone recommend a plumber that can come when requested.

This is the second time I have used R & N Plumbing. The first time I called R&N, I needed to replace a defective main water shut off valve in order to determine the location of a water leak (inside/outside the house). I called R & N in the morning and Ruben came in the afternoon and replaced the main water shut off valve right away. I was very impressed not only by his professional demeanor and customer oriented attitude but also by his attention to detail. Once he replaced the valve, he was able to shut off the water and it was evident that the leak was outside on the main water pipe, since the meter was still running even though the water was shut off. At that point, I asked Ruben for an estimate to replace the main water pipe and he provided one explained in detail what needed to be done. His estimate was once again very reasonable. A few days later, I called Ruben back and asked him to come and replace the main water pipe. He scheduled his crew and told me that they would be at the house between 6:30 and 7 am. Not only they showed up on time but were very diligent about their work. By 3pm they were done. This was hard work since they had to run the pipe under the stamped concrete on my house entrance and driveway. They not only dug the trench but preserved the stamped concrete intact on my house entrance and minimized the damage to the driveway. At the end, they fixed the stamped concrete on the driveway and left it ready for painting. Needless to say, I am very happy with the work they did both times and will not hesitate to recommend them to my friends and family or call them back in the future should I have any other plumbing work needs.

Bad customer services, unprofessional. We needed to replace a new pump and filter. Ruben came and gave us an estimate. After the pump and filter were installed a few days, it stopped working. We reached out to them multiple times to see if they can come and take a look, nobody responded. Turned out, not only they overcharged us for a bad pump that didn't work but wrongly installed our filter. We had to get another plumber to fix his bad job. I rarely write any negative review but it's unfair for new customers. After all , we chose this company because of those good reviews. But our experience was terrible. I would not recommend this company for anybody.

Rubens is a winner in my book. He came out only hours after we called. He knew exactly what the issue was from our description and answering a few questions. He had our garbage disposal replaced and ready to go within an hour or so of arrival. I was floored (in a great way!) by the cost - totally reasonable! He was also kind enough to take a look at a fussy toilet and give me a great estimate on the solution. Safe to say we'll be contacting him again for any future plumbing needs.
