R M Crossan
Company Overview
Established in 1946 as a family business.
We specialize in plumbing services! As qualified professionals, we are equipped with the right tools, gear, and experience to keep your systems functioning effectively throughout the year.
Our company, Richard M. Crossan Inc., has been family-operated since 1946. My grandfather, Richard M. Crossan, started this company over 65 years ago. His family, including my grandmother and their children, played a crucial role in building the foundation of the company. At a young age, my father, Harvey J. Crossan, began working alongside my grandfather for many years. They worked together to grow the company into a full-service plumbing, heating, cooling, and fuel oil provider. I entered the field at a young age, gaining valuable experience from two of the best in the business. Each of us began in the field, offering devoted and exceptional service to our clients. Our guiding principle for many years has been, “Service drives our success”. It has always been, and continues to be, essential for all employees to treat our customers with the highest level of respect and commitment to fulfill their service requirements.

Greg A.Honestly, I didn't hire these guys because to even get an appointment you have to open an account so that they can fill out a ticket and send someone your way. The person who answered the phone wouldn't take my cell phone number so they weren't able to call me to even see if a tech was available.
I'm pretty sure that this was just an answering service and not someone in the office.
I'm a contractor myself and this is exactly the reason I don't have an answering service.
Pro tip for the business owner:
When someone calls they want to have answers. I pick up my cell phone so I can talk to my customers, answer questions, and tell them when I'm available ... And not surprisingly, I get a ton of work because I'm the only person who answered my phone. I don't serve this area, but you can find me on Yelp; feel free to call me if you want to chat about how to improve your customer service.
Mythili P.They came and ""fixed"" AC Unit and immediately afterward, the cooling was not working again. When I called a different company, I was told there were many issues with the unit that should have been identified by the previous technician. There was even a hole in the duct that their technician missed.
When I tried talking with them that their technician missed things that caused a lot of issues for the family, they did not care at all.
Very disappointed.
Frank C.My hot water heater took a dump on us, called them at 1pm, and at 2pm they were at my house and had everything taken care of by 4pm. Even in the middle of a pandemic, they far exceeded our expectations! Trustworthy, professional, and quality work
Amber S.We just purchased a house with a water system installed by this company only 4 years ago. I had them out twice to fix the clogged system, replace a filter and make two water tests. I have not ever received a test in the form I can use with another laboratory. The filter clogged within two days, they came out again and replaced one too small paper filter with a carbon one. It clogged in a day. The system cost over $4,000 for whole house, they also installed a useless reverse osmosis in the kitchen sink for $1000 which also clogs with a useless paper filter (lots of silt in water here), which told me that the whole house was never working. They charged for one visit, the above, over $400, and used my card without me having any breakdown of charges in my hands, and knowing the system still failed, they did nothing. They charged another $174, to put in a simple toe kick bathtub stopper. So effectively for over $500 I had a drain plug put in. The woman at the desk of ""Mr. Crossan's office"", since they never answer as a plumbing company, told me essentially that it was understandable that a $5,000 system failed in 4 years and they had no responsibility. No shame, water system is a joke. We had one for the same problem in Washington State for $6,000, it is still cooking along producing wonderful drinkable water 9 years later. Do not let them take advantage of you, like they did the previous owners of this house. Water is still undrinkable.
Liz S.At Tick Tock, we call on Crossan for all of our plumbing needs. They are informative, friendly and prompt!
RM Crossan is the best! My A/C went out on Thursday, I called and they sent a tech out straightaway. Nick diagnosed the problem, the compressor had failed. Thinking that it would be the next week before I would have it scheduled to be replaced he said let us see what we can do. The unit and the installers were here the next day. There are many companies that say that they put the customer first, but RM Crossan really means it! From the initial contact with the office to the final install everyone was doing everything to get the situation handled. Thank you all!
